I thought it could be me since my teeth are not the greatest. I had my previous dentures on top for almost thirty years. They were getting worn down and not fitting the same as I aged. I decided it was time for a new upper plate. Family Smiles made me an upper plate and within 4 months a tooth fell out when a little bit of licorice got near the front. I went back and it took two weeks of no teeth. I received them back and within a month the same tooth came out again. I had no insurance and paid for these dentures with my own money. I also paid $225 to have the tooth repaired. The second time the dentist said they will fix them right this time. So now they wanted another $225.00 for this repair. This would bring the grand total of $1800.00 out of my pocket. I told them I was not going to pay for the same tooth. After that tooth was repaired a hairline crack started up the middle of the plate. The dentures were thin where you can see through them. The teeth were slightly recessed into the plate so there was no way these teeth would stay in. What garbage! They have the nerve to keep sending me bills for the second repair. They said they used Ark Labs in Brooklyn Ny. If you want to go for a cleaning, that's fine. But if you need fillings or plates don't waste your money or your insurance money because you will walk around toothless while repairs are made over and over again. All that money for dentures I threw out not even 14 months after receiving them. I went to Aspen Dental and had another set made which I paid for out of pocket again. However these teeth look more natural, fit tightly without any adhesive. Don't let Family Smiles cut corners with cheap products in your mouth.

It felt like unnecessary delays when I was already dealing with an issue that appeared to have resulted from the previous dental work. I ultimately sought a second opinion from another dentist, who treated me during the first visit and explained that the crack was consistent with problems related to the previous filling. That dentist addressed the issue immediately instead of requiring multiple appointments. In my opinion, the repeated office visits felt unnecessary and left me questioning whether patient care was the priority. I lost confidence in this practice and will not be returning. If you're looking for a dentist who stands behind their work and promptly addresses problems when they arise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Dr. Adam and Jess were very professional, kind and courteous. They answered all of my questions. The office staff was friendly. I left the office confident that my problem had been resolved. I would recommend this office for a quick response to my emergency and for future dental needs.

I had 2 problems. An aching shoulder and swollen ankle,which were the results of two separate incidents. I was not a believer in physical therapy. Yet, my pain was so great that I had to go for help. I'd asked my doctor to send me to some place I'd not been before.. He highly recommended that I see Dr. Innocent at the Access Physical Therapy & Wellness located in Milford. I loved that it was so close to home for me. I didn't have to travel to Scranton or Stroudsburg. I got an appointment immediately. I had not expected that I would be seen so quickly. Most places you'd have to wait days or weeks. First impressions do count. The receptionist, Jan, was very nice. Instead of having to sit in a waiting area, I was sent right in to Dr. Innocent's office. He's a quiet, unassuming man, who listens intently as you explain why you're there. He then used visual aids to show me the probability of what was causing my pain. He was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions regarding what I was to expect in the coming weeks. I felt comfortable and more importantly hopeful that I would get the help I needed to get rid of my dreadful pain. When making my appointments, Jan asked me what would be convenient for me. I knew it would require a certain number of visits for my treatments to be effective. I'd made up my mind to do whatever I needed to do. My first therapy session was amazing. I was warmly met by the staff, who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was very positive. Innocent had me schedule different times during the same week in order to treat my injuries separately instead of working on them simultaneously. This enabled us to monitor the progress of each one. The personal attention I received encouraged me to do my best. It wasn't always easy. But, it's a gradual procession. You work at your own pace. Yet, the more you apply yourself the sooner you see results. It was amazing working through the various steps to recovery. They work as a team. There were others there for treatment as well. Some days you'd have the same appointment times with these fellow sufferers. It's true...misery loves company. I made new friends. The staff, though very professional, are also quite friendly and caring. I actually began to look forward to my treatments. It took time and commitment. But, when my sessions ended I was at 100%. I was given some "at home" exercises to do. They don't just leave you hanging on your own. It was a most beneficial experience. I have since made recommendations to friends that should they ever need this medical service not to hesitate calling "Access Physical Therapy & Wellness in Milford, PA. They have other locations. However, I can only speak for the one located in Milford. I am happy to be able to let others know about the exceptional service I received. My Neurosurgeon specifically wrote no lumbar or core PT on the order, and this was discussed with Matthew during my evaluation, so he gave me things to do at home to help my foot strength. A few days later during my 1st PT session with Matthew, he had me do core work, which was not the plan and was not approved by my doctor. Then about halfway through my appt. Daniel (who never introduced himself) came over and asked me to do more core work which I refused to do since my surgery was only 9 days ago at the time. He then had me put a tension band around my knees and asked me to do side steps. I asked, "how is this helping my drop foot" and Daniel asked me if I had hip surgery. This kid literally didn't even know why I was there and what type of surgery I had or what my issues were. To me that is very irresponsible for a physical therapist to be advising a patient when they don't even know what the issues are. Advocate for your health !!! I was contacted by Matthew to discuss my issues after he read this review and was told Daniel isn't even a licensed physical therapist.

The afternoon PT worker was more interested in pushing his MLM that helping me with my treatment. At one point he took my number, I assumed it was for appointments purposes. Odd because the front desk has my contact information. Turns out it was to send me a video to push a "miracle oil". I decided not to return and to elsewhere. Best thing I ever did. The new practice was wonderful. We did a number of exercises, gave me a workout plan for home, discussed what to look for with footwear and suggested adaptive equipment my insurance would cover. What a difference! I feel sad that people come for help and they are being pushed a product. People who need PT are vulnerable, often elderly or young kids on sports teams. They need help getting back to their normal activities. It wasn't professional or at all ethical.
