This place is the best and most advanced dental center. They specialize in implants. All the dentists that I came across are so amazing, knowledgeable and i fully trust them (dr blau and dr dan Katz in particular). I wish I had known about them earlier. all the staff starting from the front desk to the dental assistants are all so wonderful and accommodating. You can tell they all get along well and are like a well oiled machine. I hated going to the dentist but their technique as well as equipment make the dental experience so much comfortable and calming. I like the mouthpiece they use during the procedure. its actually calming white noise and drowns out the drilling. it also doesnt dry out your mouth and doesnt feel like you are drowning on your own saliva. I also appreciate that they explain in detail the plan of care so everyones on the same page. I recommend them 100%!! I also was impressed for my very young daughter. every single time she went to the dentist to get a simple cleaning, she would cry and end up throwing up. it was awful but when i brought her to middletown dental associates, she was actually able to get a FULL cleaning done and said she loves the dentist. The most scam dentist place I very seen, the giant Heather is very rude, nasty , disrespectful and racist. They were supremely caring and attentive to making sure that I experienced the minimum of pain and discomfort possible. I waited in the waiting room for about 10 min but once I was brought to the back room I waited over an hour in the chair to see the dentist. Then I needed a panogram and they could not figure out how to use the machine and waited another 30 mins to find out they couldn't get it to work. I am still waiting for a referral to have a tooth extracted but still no referral and it's been almost a week. After numerous phone calls and exchanges they still haven't emailed it to me. The lady behind the count had a foreign accent was extremely rude and disrespectful treated me as if I was less then her. At first I was impressed by their high rating everywhere and technically that is the reason I chose this dental clinic. After a year of visits, I could understand why people give them 5-star because the staff are really really nice, polite, and makes you feel you are talking to friends known for years. However, they aren't professional -- at least in suggesting the patient do unnecessary treatments. I know that is happening a lot in today's dental market. Because the more treatments you do, the more money they would make. 8 months ago, they told me I have 8 cavities according to the x-ray and how urgent the situation was. Literarily I couldn't see any of those even using a magnifier. I am born with perfect teeth, and took great care of my teeth over years, brushing, flossing, 2-cleaning/year. That 8 detected cavities surprised me thoroughly. So I brought the x-ray to my dentist friend who worked in another city, and she told me you are fine, nothing is there actually. And guess what, after 6 months when I visited Middletown Dental Associates for regular cleaning, they told me "oh, you must treat your teeth nicely, your cavities are all gone!" I was like W*F. If I listen to them at the first place, I would have to do 8 fillings and in order to do fillings, technically your teeth would be polished and grinned smaller which is totally unnecessary damage to my teeth!!! I decided they could do anything to make you spend money, even if you have perfect teeth and no need for any of the treatments. So, I no longer go there because ultimately, I am not coming to a dental clinic to make friends but to get my teeth treated professionally without being pushed to have unnecessary damages. read more
