So my dog chewed up my iPhone 6 and got it pretty good - the whole screen was cracked, the touch screen wasn't working (well, it worked sporadically but not enough to actually use the phone), the colors on the screen were bleeding - all in all I thought the phone was done. Super friendly and helpful! My brother is a frequent phone dropper so I trusted him when he recommended these guys. Had my screen fixed in about 30 minutes but can sometimes take up to an hour depending on how busy they are. I noticed after that I couldn't hear so well while making a phone call, I brought my phone back and I guess a little rubber piece moved under the screen but they were able to remove the screen and reposition the rubber piece without an issue. I have to say these guys are really good. I've brought numerous phones over the last few years to be fixed with 3 kids we have a lot of "accidents". They are fast and honest. Always a solid timeframe on repairs I brought one that was really damaged and they were honest it was going to take a few days. Last night I bought my second phone from them and we couldn't be happier.I had stopped into the Verizon in Niles and the guy was talking me in circles. He was all about getting me to upgrade and get on a payment plan. When I said I just want to buy the phone not be on a payment plan I was told you have to be on the payment plan. My husband and I were befuddled and I remembered that Accessorez in the Lincolnwood Town Center was great when I bought my daughters first phone 3 years ago that my 10 year now uses - still works great! We got there they had what we needed at a good price. Best part the guy at Verizon didn't even tell us with the Samsung 7 or above you could just switch the SIM from your old one (we had a 6) and you didn't need to go back to Verizon to activate it it was automatic. My Blackberry trackball was on the fritz................ I was on the fence about getting someone to fix my phone or simply cave and get a new one.... (which I am not wanting to do just now!).... so I did a search and found some guys in Texas... but hey, I wanted it fixed now without having to pay extra $$$ to get it there and back overnight... so low and behold, found these guys when i did the googily... Wrote an email explaining the problem and received a phonecall (let it go to voicemail) within a few hours... they quoted me a price that was comparable to what I'd found online and when I took it there there were ridiculous---but in the best possible way. Rich fixed the problem (it was working/not working intermittently) in like 5 minutes... seriously... 5 minutes. I understand that many techies could probably change a trackball, but what is great is when I called Rich back and explained it worked fine and then not fine and then fine again, Rich suggested I change themes and that might be causing some additional functionality issues.... and to bring it by at my convenience. I loved that it wasn't like: hey, too bad, we did what we said and you're SOL... no... he was willing and wanting to get to the root cause.... AND, can't believe he even remembered that I had an iphone-eque theme... I also suggested maybe I just need a new phone, but Rich was quick to say he didn't think so... that the phone is in good shape, there wasn't any corrosion, and should be good for some time to come. I dealt with Rich from start to finish and he couldn't be nicer... and, as a bonus, very patient with this non-techie mascarading with a BB. **** And they sell loads of accessories (get the name) for your cell phone or pda.... visit their website and print out the coupon before you go! **** so why 4 stars and not 5... well, and this is a small thing... but each time I called and asked to come, I was told he would be leaving early... now I get the flexibility of your own biz, but if the hours are posted, go with it... however, this is small, and can be solved with a phone call before you head out. ----- and..... since changing out the theme on my phone it's been working.... let's keep our fingers crossed!!!! read more

He was very pushy so I decided to get a screen protector and was told that it should have lasted 6 months. Three days later the screen protector had snagged. I have yet to try any other cell phone repair kiosks, but in the future I might just have to. Some of the people that work there are nice and polite, but some can be rude, and even make the customer feel unappreciated or just a plain inconvenience to their job. For example, I receive a phone call letting me know my repair is ready. I go in and let them know I'm there to pick it up, and the man working there says it isn't ready. So I tell him about the call and the voicemail. He asks, who called you? I say, someone from Accessorez. He is still giving me a hard time about being there to pick up my phone. He searches for my phone and pulls it out, and it looks just the same as before. Of course they are never charged, which is quite obnoxious. The phone wasn't even touched for the week they had it. Finally, after talking to the manager, who happens to have the same phone, they figure out that they put the wrong screen on my phone. Another week later, and it's finally working. So a total of about three weeks of time in their hands to fix a standard screen issue. Also, when I picked it up, the screen kept flashing red on the boarder. The guy said some kind of nonsense about it doing that but it'd go away. It didn't. I looked it up online and it turns out a feature had been turned on in the programming menu. I turned it off and it didn't happen anymore. I would highly recommend looking for another place and leaving this as a last resort. read more

So I've written a review on here before for this place hyping it up and saying it was a good place, but that's only because the guy who works here, the guy with almost no hair on his head, made me write him a review. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Find somewhere else to go because the people working here don't care if the device they're fixing works after you leave this shop or not. I went there with my iPhone 6 Plus and my screen cracked while my phone was in my pocket and when I let him know it was kind of ridiculous that the phone broke while it was just sitting there, he goes "You're not supposed to put your phone in your pocket thats why." ??? WHAT??? okay so ill put my phone on my head then thanks. After the repair was done, he let me know that he had a warranty and that if there's anything else with the phone within 90 days to bring the phone back. THE NEXT DAY my screen started spazzing out and there was no damage on it so I decided to bring it back in for this warranty and get my screen replaced again because my phone shouldn't be doing this. So I go back and he's using a very rude tone with me telling me that it's not my screen doing that and that I'm either imagining it or that I did it myself. I told him that my phone only started with this problem after he replaced it and he told me to stop talking and that he didn't want to hear it. YOU DON'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIVES!!!! SO naturally I cursed this man out and took my phone and left and never stepped foot here agin. About a year before the phone dilemma happened, my MacBook Pro stopped working because there was an issue with my hard drive. My parents told me to go back to this place so that's what I did. He replaced my hard drive and everything came out perfectly fine with a price tag of $450. Get this, about a month and a half later... The computer shuts down again and has the same issue as before. So I fast forward to two weeks ago, I decided to take to the Apple Store and they told me that I shouldn't have been charged $400 because my problem was only a $200 problem. So one, I overpaid. Two, I paid for nothing because the Apple Store associate let me know that my hard drive wasn't screwed in place and that it was loosely placed back into my laptop. So this man that works at this little phone repair store, DON'T TRUST HIM PLEASE. Only trying to help! read more

Okay, so we had a wierd Blackberry problem; my wife's phone got doused with cough syrup. Now this is not just your typical liquid damage; it is thick, sticky and liquid! What to do?
