At Therapeutic Associates I stressed, my entire first visit, that I needed them to proceed very slowly. But they just couldn't do this. My second visit the same PT did a very hard massage, much too hard, then passed me off to another PT who clearly hadn't read the notes. She had me do neck exercises beyond my limit, and before I even left there I was in pain. That afternoon and evening I was in the worst pain of all. I never went back. Those PTs were inconsiderate and didn't pay attention to anything I said. They are incompetent. Please avoid this place and go somewhere that will care about your pain instead of blindly and unthinkingly have you do whatever routine exercises they were taught in PT school.

Her team creates a multi-pronged approach which is nothing short of miraculous, especially when you're in pain but also when you're simply trying to expand your ability to train your body better.

Printing out my exercises was even more helpful so I had a reference, going over them in office before I left and if I had any questions we worked it out. The best part was seeing my favorite pup come in and wander around and check on everyone! Not one person was rude or condescending to me and was always helpful. I got my time needed and getting the hands needed to do my exercises was amazing, I even found I could get the pulley system I used online and since it was super cheap I bought it to aid my therapy. Thank you to everyone here. Sometimes the waiting room gets packed and it gets packed in back and they multitask but you get to meet others and chat throughout your appointment so it's not all bad!

Dan Adels, the only PT at KPT, is a very nice man. And I have heard from my new PT that he's had…read moreother patients who have been very satisfied with Dan. And some of what he did was just right. However, most of what he did was totally wrong and I desperately wish I hadn't gone to him; over 20 sessions and it was waste of time and money. Additionally, there are serious confidentiality issues in his office. He has no receptionist at all, so he leaves his appointment book open on the front counter where anyone could read it. He also answers his phone every time it rings, so each session was peppered with calls, and when he held the phone with his shoulder, sometimes I could hear the other person (not to mention how obnoxious that was). He also spent a good chunk of every session complaining about his troubles. He also constantly gave (the same) dietary advice (some of which is ridiculous), which, as I found out from my new PT, he is absolutely not supposed to do without dietitian certification. I didn't feel comfortable sharing my concerns with him because the one time I offered a comment, he got upset. I think he's a good person and I hope he sees this and makes some changes in his life so that he can be happy, and so his patients can feel more comfortable and get the care they actually need. But for now, please be aware of these problems if you go to him.

They will not ever hesitate to offer help to anyone in the space and each person is very knowledgeable and willing to help. When I would go, it didn't feel like they just wanted to fix my problems, (I went for problems with my ankles) but instead they really got to know me and find things that worked specifically for me. I 110% recommended anyone coming here for physical therapy, they are the best and I'll miss everyone!

Every single person in their therapy and office areas are extremely competent and courteous. I'm not the best patient by any means, however, they were consistently kind and patient while gently, but firmly, pushing me to complete my exercises. 10 out of 10 would recommend and I would use them again if I needed therapy.

I went to PT NW on Boone Rd SE for back and hip therapy. I was invited by them with an offer below…read moremy scheduled co-pay. After completeing many sessions they then send me a bill for $90. additional. They and the insurance company acknowledge they made a mistake and even have our initial conversations on record yet they still insisted that I owe them. I've previously done therapies with other companies so I'm familiar with how treatments should occur. But, the group of therapists were frequently unprofessional by flirting and talking and talking and talking to mainly girls in the facility instead of focusing on their patients. Overall, I left there feeling frustrated and not any better. I will not recommend PT NW to my friends.

Had PT South Salem Oregon September/October 2025. Had VG therapist, his PT helped broken arm…read morerecovery, but later got text frm billing that I was "Not a nice person", insurance info I gave only good for Rx not medical. I called, expld my Medicare supplement Ins. (85 y.o. retired LEO) should pay all. 6 mos. later, now in my Florida home, I get collections agency text(no reference to PT NW) that I owe $518.96, several calls reveal PT NW didn't have my Medicare #, say sent me many e-mails I didnt get. No paper billing. Paid $#@! bill, then had to get dam # for them. Still needs follow up to see they rebill Medicare so I can recover $$ I didn't need to pay. Much room for improvement!
