We were solely seeking bids for cost comparison from these four different installation companies each representing a different manufacturer. We were not asking for service or maintenance on the existing system. It was already non-operational. We were only gathering bids for equipment and pricing. We did not choose Bays. Subsequently, Bays sent an $80.00 invoice for service which we did not order nor authorize and which, to our knowledge, they did not perform. We argued with them over the invoice and did not pay it. Several days ago we received notice from a debt collector regarding this $80.00 bill from Bays. We have an unblemished credit record with FICO scores well over 800, so we decided to pay the bill rather than risk any type of negative entry on our credit history, even if it was false. In short, our experience with Bays Heating and Cooling has been 100% negative! Not only was their bid for the installation of the new HVAC unit the worst of the four companies but we wound up, in effect, being forced to pay a "ransom" for a bid that the other three companies provided without any charge. This post is the first I have ever done and it is not about the $80.00 - it is, in fact, about the ethics of a company choosing to conduct its business in this manner. The $80.00 is minor - Bays' business behavior was reprehensible!

So I spoke to receptionist explaining that my pump was running and would not shut off and I need to know why etc check my crawl space to make sure no leaks pressure switch was not bad so a so called plumbing tech came to see what was wrong in the mean time I did nothing but get calls and get txt messages from my wife about pump etc all while so called technician is there so flash forward so called tech states I need a new pump etc and then leaves. I then ask my wife if he inspected the crawl space to make sure there were no leaks to make pump run so the answer was no so I called the company and told them service had not been preformed she stated that oh I will call tech and let the so called tech know little did .I know this was her husband so she proceeded to tell the so called tech that I screamed at her etc so he came back very angry to inspect and explain that his wife had been disrespected thanks for nothing and 150 dollar bill and you totally mis diagnosed the problem Mr and Mrs liar

Equipment is only as good as it's instalation and these guys are top notch! They put in our new furnace and heat pump in one day and did the extras like replacing old wiring and condensation drain tube to prevent future problems. They covered our floor with tarps to avoid tracking dirt through the house and cleaned up all remnants of our old system. We had 3 estimates, all were within $100 of each other so I feel their pricing was very competitive. The installers were both friendly and professional, and took time after completing instalation to make sure we understood all the information we needed to operate our new equipment. They also followed up with two phone calls to make sure everything was working good and we was happy with our purchase. I would highly recomend Grayless heating and cooling for all your HVAC needs!
