Therefore, I started looking at online reviews in order to find a reputable, local repair shop. I finally chose Louisville Automotive Shop. I took my vehicle to this establishment because of their great reviews. Throughout the process of trying to get my car repaired, I had several issues with my insurance company. They were a week late getting an adjuster to assess the damage. Then, the estimate they provided was garbage because the quote consisted of the incorrect parts and labor needed for the repair. That was just the beginning of how inefficient and time consuming this nightmare process became. Nermin is the owner of this established business. He took over this tedious process and turned out to be my saving Grace in this scenario. His first experience was when the towing company, assigned by my insurance provider, was delivered my vehicle to the wrong address. The shop was closed that day and Nermin took his day off to find the car several doors down the street. It was left in a random parking lot, unlocked, with the keys openly visible in the center console cup holder. He took the car to his shop and parked it inside the locked garage. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of a long, arduous process. The insurance company was not willing to provide the financial reimbursement needed for repairs and the whole process. I was told that this process should be approximately 3 to 4 days took 3-4 weeks. I could have never gotten my repair completed without the assistance of the owner, Nermin. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I needed him after the shop hours. He also called me to check in every few days to keep me notified of the "progress" regarding the repair. He fixed the vehicle within 2 days after the insurance company finally did their job. The icing on the cake was that he delivered my vehicle to my home, which is VERY FAR out of their delivery area. Nermin prides himself on being fair, ethical, friendly and knowledgeable business man. He will make sure that your repair is completed in the correct manner and that you leave a happy patron. You can't go wrong with this amazing local automotive shop!

Now I am fully aware of the Audi oil problems but when I was going to Firestone, I would never have an issue immediately after. It seems like they're more focused on doing an inspection and finding a major repair to fix than just doing an oil change! So, now I am a year out from my service done here and my car still runs so...here we go…read more Less than a week after a major, very expensive repair at a different shop, my check engine light came on. Again. Not sure that my car would make it nearly 100 miles back to the problematic shop in question (it would not have), I called the warranty company which supposedly covered the repair to find a place in town to have it looked at and potentially fixed....again. UNFORTUNATELY....the warranty, which I was sold as coverage of the entire engine replacement done at Southside Auto in Lexington, Kentucky (which...you should avoid like the plague! WARNING do not go to Southside Auto in Lex...) didn't actually cover, you know, ENGINES. But they were able to recommend some local shops which I could take my car to. The first one I went to simply cleared the code which caused the engine light to come on....not looking at anything or doing any work. So, less than a day later, when the light came back on...I went to the second shop on the list: Bemudo. Bemudo is a little tricky to find. But, the service provided is worth the finding. A very small operation but, in my experience, dedicated to accurate and honest work and good customer service. I told Uche the whole story so far up to the point of my getting to him. And he was mad on my behalf. Then, after checking out my car, he was even more mad on my behalf and very apologetic about finding out that my car was STILL leaking oil. We discussed our options, his first recommendation was to bring the car back to the original repair shop and make them fix it...but in all honesty, safely getting the car towed back to the other city would probably have cost at least half as much as the coming repair, with no guarantee that the other shop would admit fault and fix it. So we decided to move forward with the repair at Bemudo, and with documentation from Uche, I would try and get some kind of compensation from the other shop. The repair didn't go quickly, but it was also days before Christmas and I was heading out of town for 8 days, so there wasn't a terrible rush. The folks are Bemudo were in reliably constant contact with me about what needed to be done and what it would cost, as well as giving me the information I needed to argue my situation with the other shop. So it has been a little over a year since it all went diggity-down and my car has remained running. The work gets done and it apparently seems to get done well. Uche and any other staff at Bemudo gave me the impression that they cared about me and my situation. I don't want to have to go back to them....but if something were to happen to my automobile, Bemudo would be my first choice of repair shops.

I would recommend him wholeheartedly! His name is Daivone Hadder and his business is called immaculate Details 502-389-6424. He made our cars look brand new inside and out and was exceptionally thorough. He came to our home and did both cars in about 5 hours. What a great young man and business person. I hope you can use his services if you need your car detailed. He is a STAR! There ARE great young people out there working hard, building businesses and delighting their customers.
