I requested service from KLS explicitly for the purposes of being picked up at JFK airport in baggage claim as I was landing in New York after a long flight from LAX and needed help with my bags. To receive mere curbside service in the freezing cold, having to carry my bags through crowded sidewalks, amounted to no greater customer service than that of Uber Black, which would have cost only $108 for the ride to my apartment vs. the $240 I was charged by KLS. I also have never had to pay KLS directly out of pocket upon exiting the vehicle. My experience with KLS on this last ride was abysmal, and although my driver was very kind, without changes made to KLS's customer service, I am not interested in ever using this service again nor recommending it to any of my colleagues.
