Wells Fargo....You suck! No really....you do....really bad…read more I banked with these guys for about 5 years. I never really had problems with them when I was in Coos Bay (odd I know)....but since I moved to Eugene and have continued business with them they only showed me how incompetent they can truly be. It all started when my wife had her car broken into and someone stole her purse. In her purse was my debit card to the WF account. For other reasons I'm not going to get into, we were already phasing out WF and transferring our bills to Chase. With that in mind there wasn't a lot of money in the bank, yet it was still open and we would simply deposit money to pay a bill. My wife called me about 30 min after the theft occurred. I instantly called WF customer service and told them what happened. Clearly stated, "PLEASE FREEZE my account....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING should be allowed out of here I don't care who it's too." Customer Service Representative replied with, "OK Mr. W...Your account has been frozen and there will be no transactions from this point out. We will even open you a separate account in the meantime while this all gets straightened out." .......my ass! So the next day I checked my online account just to make sure nothing has happened. WHAT DO YOU KNOW. $125 was taken from our savings. Why was that screwed up? 1st of all....I froze my account. 2nd....We didn't even have money in savings at WF. How can they take money from an account that we don't even have money in? At this point I clearly had to go INTO the branch to get this handled. I dealt with a guy named Steve. At first this guy seemed to know what he was doing. I was in there for about 1 hour, talked with bankers that he needed me to via phone and started a few claims to get charges reversed....OH!! And I had my baby with me at this point too. I guess I better sum this story up somehow.... I ended up going into the branch 3 different times. Same guy handled this each time. He kept telling me he would talk with the branch manager to get it cleared up. THREE MONTHS LATER. I get a notice that I owe WF $125 and it's going on my credit report....WTF!!!! I called down and spoke with Steve and explained how he's been handling this account very unprofessionally. I explained how I now OWE WF money...and nothing has been straightened out. AGAIN...he said he'll get back to me after speaking with his manager. This time I stopped him and said, "NO!" I will call back tomorrow and speak with your manager myself. I did just that..... When I got ahold of the manager, I started off by saying, "im a very polite person who is very positive. But your employee Steve, Is an idiot who doesn't know his job from his ass." I visited the branch one last time to speak with the manager in person. As we talked she had NEVER EVEN HEARD of ANYTHING about this. She was completely clueless about it all. That tells me that Steve was getting overwhelmed with what he was doing and couldn't get the job done, and DID NOT ever talk to his manager about it. The kind lady who was the manager FINALLY got all charges reversed and my name cleared with WF after 3 months. To say the least I have not been back, and I dont trust them with my money for 1 second. Think twice before using Wells Fargo.

This week, B of A's online system is terrible and their in-person bankers at this location in particular are shoddy. In this case, the online system could not process a very simple business banking account. The bank required an in-person ID verification. The bank never told her this, she had to proactively call and find out this information. The banker, Brice, required her to set an appointment after a week of flailing and inaction. However, Brice failed to ask my client to bring in all the paperwork he would need to see, and as a result my client could not open her account. Brice refused to take responsibility. He was only interested in telling us about bank policy. B of A is terrible in its own right, and this branch is not up to the professional standards of even the smallest businesses. If this is how they act when they're trying to earn someone's business it's hard to imagine how they'll treat customers from whom they receive no immediate benefit. Take your business elsewhere.

Our realtor and mortgage broker came with us. Jill walked us through every single page we signed, explaining what it was for and what it meant for us.
