Honestly the WORST costumer service EVER. The lady at the front named Sally made things so difficult for me when I tried getting a loan. Her scanner didn't even work and was getting frustrated with me about it and she literally had my partner and I going back and forth for 2 days just because she couldn't be more specific on what we needed on our first time getting a loan from Ace. It's like she didn't even TRY to help us or herself to make things easier and smoother for all of us. I'm an understanding and patient person myself.. I can't believe she's the only person in charge because if she treats us like this then I wonder how she treats everyone else who doesn't have the time to do things the way she did to me and my partner. Avoid this place at all cost or at least tell them your race before wasting your time driving over! So I call this place of business ahead of time to cash my first ever money order check I received from a neighbor who purchased some lawn furniture from me, anyways I called ahead to make sure I come with the documents needed so I wouldn't get turned away and/or make sure I have what's needed. She proceeds to tell me over the phone what is needed and how easy the process is by verifying the money order check is valid which made sense. I show up in person on my lunch break and get to the window only to find out this place isn't a place that serves African Americans and reason why I say that is she turned me away AFTER calling in the check to verify it is valid (which it was she said) then she get off the phone and says I don't think I can cash them because I am not comfortable cashing it due to the black ink that was used to sign the check by neighbor and the blue ink I used to fill in the rest of the check after my neighbor handed it to me. Pretty much she couldn't tell I was African American over the phone but once I walked in and verified that the check is valid with my drivers license and a second piece of ID (just in case) she decided my business is not welcome. Not the first this has happened in Portland to myself but I'm gonna start putting these businesses on blast every chance I get being that this is the norm nowadays in the city I've grown up in. read more

STAY AWAY!!! Obviously everyone knows pay day loans are a horrible way to get money right? The interest rates are astronomical but even if you pay it off in 7 days you still end up paying almost the entire fee. It's like a 300% mark up. Don't waste your time. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, condescending staff. I called corporate asking how I could go about get a copy of my loan documents for attorney purposes. They told me to go in to the location I got the loan from. I went in and the worst employee so far there,Sara, was working. Gave me attitude, rolled her eyes, argued with me. Then called someone to ask about it and started laughing on the phone and disrespecting my situation and my presence. Told me they couldn't reprint any loan documents. I told her I didn't get any to begin with. So it should still be in their system to be printed right? She was the absolute worst person I'm ever had to deal with in my life. Customer service isn't the job for her. And she should not be working with the public if that's how she treats CUSTOMERS! And she was short and rude with the people ahead of me. Corporate has gotten my call. But these people should not run business with employees like that. read more
