They together represent the highest quality bank services anyone can ask for and the reasons why I decided to continue all my banking with Sterling. Excellent CD rates of 2.68% at 15 month short terms. Excellent regular money market rate of 1.5% although it will be nicer if Corporate office can change to the same higher rate of 2.0% ambassador money market. Thought about moving some savings to other bank, offering higher money market rates but the professionalism, quality and reliability of other bank staff and their managers not come any where close to Regina and Julia of Sterling bank. Sterling still has the onevif the highest and best CD rates and terms. Sterling also provides very easy online banking as well as superb physical office services. Regina was exceptionally kind, patient, and professional in walking me thru every steps of setting up multiple beneficiaries and Power of Attorney. Although Regina was super knowledgeable and experienced herself dealing with these services, she was not hesitant to calling her legal office staff to triple making sure my special requested service needs are fully met in accordance to banking rules and policies. We then were referred to a residential loan officer who is a lady, (I don't want to mention her name because of yelp policy) and who has this Chino Hills Branch address on her business card. We called her, and she was so inpatient and everything she said was nothing informative. It did not seem like she was doing her job, for example, we asked her about approximately how much mortgage we need to pay if we were having full doc loan, she answered in a bad manner: "How would I know!?" Every loan company and bank we have gone to, their loan officers are always estimating this amount patiently and providing this information to us right away. The whole time during the phone, this lady was also inpatient, impolite, and with a bad attitude. Maybe she had a bad day, but her poor service and bad attitude indeed gave us a very bad experience. We are planning to transfer our mortgage loan to another bank. I usually don't give bad reviews, but because of this loan officer's impoliteness and arrogant attitude, I would give 0 star if yelp had one.
