They were able to correct the smell and she was great to work with. --------------- I dropped off three items and they looked good when I picked them. Poor communication - when dropping off my clothes for cleaning, I was told that the employee did not know how much each dress shirt would cost to clean, because her daughter handles the pricing. Poor pricing - I had my shirts cleaned in Santa Monica for less $$$. Bad math - I was charged for 7 shirts, when I only brought 6 shirts in. I didn't realize until I got home. I have to take responsibility for this one - should have gotten and read the receipt. Easy decision to find another cleaner. This was especially disappointing, given the 4 star rating at the time of my visit. The customer in front of me at pickup was similarly disappointed with the level of service. I've been coming to Ace for around 15 years for dry cleaning and tailoring needs. They are fantastic. Stephanie is so helpful and you can be sure if you have something that needs sewing, hemming, altering, etc. that it will be done well. The seamstress is very, very good. You'll need to be patient if 'mom' is the only one working, as there are a few language barriers, but they all treat the customers kindly and with utmost respect. Prices have gone up a bit, but the few times I went to a cleaners a bit closer to where I work, they were even higher, so I think it's dry cleaning in general, and not just this store. If I've ever had an urgent need to get something cleaned in a hurry, they've always been able to accommodate me. read more

I've been using Ace Cleaners for 6 years now. They do a fantastic job on dry cleaning & alterations. As a regular, they know me well, and go the extra mile with last minute requests, etc. Recently, I ruined a pair of outdoor chair covers in the wash and *shredded* them...the material was torn around the zippers, the seams had come apart in some areas from excessive sun exposure, etc. Their seamstress (1 of 2) just happened to be there that day and said she could repair the damage. She did an EXCELLENT job: she added material, used special stitching to repair shredding, etc. I was WOWED! She did this work for a FAIR price, so it was worth its weight in gold, to not have to find and/or purchase custom seat covers. On top of this, Stephanie, the Owners daughter, is super sweet and friendly. Sometimes, you'll see her little daughter, dressed in princess outfits, and her lil stout Minpin dog who waits outside the door for pepperoni pieces from the neighboring Dominoes Pizza delivery guys. Stephanie's Mom is super cute and friendly, full of smiles. Sometimes, I can't understand her, but she makes me smile, and that's what matters. Her Dad doesn't talk much, but he always helps me load my dry cleaning to the car. Very sweet. Like I said, great work, great customer service. Wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Shoppers beware!!! Bait and switch. Was quoted by daughter $6.50 per lady shirt. But when picking up, mom said it's $8.50. Making excuses that the shirt is this and that so needs to be more $$$. Will never go there again!!!!! read more

This has been my go to dry cleaning place for maybe last 3 years or so. Haven't had any issues or complaints and the results are always good. I appreciate that they put collar stays in all my shirts. This place is run by very nice and friendly family and Stephanie is always were pleasent and welcoming. So definitely a big plus for me to have friendly people behind the counter. I bought some American Girl clothes and hats on Craigs list for my niece's Christmas present and wanted them cleaned. They were worried about the hats, that they might be supported with paper, but would try their best. The hats and clothing came back like new. I want to commend Ace Cleaners, specifically Stephanie, for excellent customer service. I took my coat to have some buttons replaced. I appreciate that the job was done with a very quick turnaround time, next day service. When I went to pick up my coat, it looked great, but one of the new buttons that had been sewn on somehow got damaged in the process. Stephanie was quick to apologize & resolve the issue, and offered a discounted price for the service, as well as a complimentary return to replace the damaged button. I was impressed with how professionally the situation was handled, and will definitely be returning to Ace Cleaners for other tailoring needs. read more

they are the best. My daughter had a severly stained sweater and they said they would try to remove the stain which they were successful. They do a great job on alterations as well as cleaning. After my experience with a very snooty seamstress at Alex's Dry Cleaners, I decided to try this one. 5 stars in customer service and no job is too small! I trusted them with my silk pillows and the seamstress did a great job on them. Brought in a small Christmas pillow and they didn't bat an eye. Great job on that one. As a cleaners they do good work. Wouldn't go here for alterations again though. Very nice people, very friendly, it I had two pairs of slacks hemmed here and one pair - part of a $1000 Zegna Italian wool suit - the pants were basically ruined because the hem job was so bad it left a visible line where they were sewn inside. They did redo them when I pointed out how bad they looked, but it was basically too late. Better, but the pants now have a permanent line and holes. The nice girl behind the counter said "the material is very thin," yes it is that's why they're so nice. I guess my bad for having a suit like this hemmed here and not at a specialist tailor. Anyway, nice people and good for dry cleaning but be careful on alterations. read more

Their seamstress is great! I've been looking all over the county for someone who will repair soft sided dog crates. I took the crate and screen material (got it at OSH) in to them and got the crate back the next day. The charge was minimal and the repair looks awesome. Other places I went wanted to charge me as much as a new crate. Very pleasant and accommodating people and very capable of dealing w unusual repairs such as mine. read more
