I dropped this shirt off after having spilled black coffee on it. Initially, we tried to get it off by soaking it in Dawn dish soap and water. Then I brought it to TLC for them to launder. When I came to pick up my shirts, this one, an almost brand new $110 David Donahue shirt, was completely ripped apart . The best part is that the owner still tried to charge me for laundering it. He told me this is the first time in 40 years that he's ever seen a damaged shirt like this. The truth of the matter is, there are at least two other Yelp reviews where people complained about damaged clothes. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, he went on to blame me for "spraying something" or "putting something" on it. He took a ZERO responsibility. If I was the owner, I would certainly have comped the rest of the laundry or tried to pay for the shirt. Not this guy! He wants to charge you for a shirt that HE destroyed. Stay far away from TLC. There are too many other options in town. read more

Stay away from this cleaner. If you have a coupon the price will go up, than they discount. Go to another cleaner and they really CLEAN your garments. God forbid if there is do over, even though you may have mark the spots prior so they can clean the right spots! you will get treated like a criminal. I took the same stuff I have them to Los Angeles they cleaned my garments and the price without any coupon was less than what they charged me with coupon! Tried to visit a couple of weeks ago and the alteration person wasn't there. Came back today and the alteration person was not there. Website and web search state this establishment does alternations. I asked the guy 2 questions: 1) when will the person be in - he said he doesn't know and to call Monday 2) I asked him how long is the turn around on average, he said he doesn't know... so what does this person that works at the store know? He was 20 minutes away from closing but turned the machine back on just for me so my dress could be ready in time! I wasn't even a long time customer this was only my second time coming here! I felt so cared for and received a level of personal service that I would only expect from a family member or in a small town. I've been using TLC Cleaners for almost 10 years now, primarily because they pick up and deliver! It's so convenient; all I have to do is leave my clothes in a laundry bag outside my front door and they come by once a week to pick up and drop off the clothes from the prior week. They send an invoice monthly and this method of dry cleaning service is all so civilized! I must admit I've had problems with receiving clothing back where a stain was not removed or the pressing wasn't the best, so this is why I give this location 3 stars. All in all, it is the convenience that keeps the business going between TLC and me. read more
