They sent someone out within a week. I had 3 problems. Ceiling fan on patio doesn't work. Plug at dock doesn't work. A plug in garage doesn't work. First - electrician showed 4 hours late at 5:30 pm. Said he couldn't fix any of the issues. Said he didn't know what was wrong. Recommended we get new junction box for house and maybe rewire. He said he would send a journeyman over. I question if he was licensed at all. Charged 149.00 with no fix. I was told service fee was 49.00. No one ever called. I called their office and emailed with no response. 3 weeks later, still no response. read more

This is a complete Yelp success story! Our 3 year old Maytag dishwasher suddenly would not power up. Got on yelp to find a appliance repair man, he came out told us we need an electrician. Ok, got back on Yelp found Ace, liked the reviews and book them online through Yelp. There was some sort of booking error between Yelp and Ace. I selected the 2-5pm slot but somehow that was submitted to Ace as a 7-10pm slot! That choice did not even exist! I did not expect anyone to show up. However, Ace called me around 6:30, to confirm my slot. They had an electrician available, it was still early, and my wife and I are tired of washing dishes by hand! He showed up around 7:30 and quickly was able to diagnose the problem. The Home Depot installation was a complete disaster. The idiots spliced a plug install with a hard wire install. It was not done correct. The wiring actually shorted out, should have flipped a breaker but did not. We had a hot wire that could have caused a fire. Thanks to Yelp we had the right man on the job. He wired the dishwasher correctly. He replaced a faulty light switch. 45 minutes later, the dishwasher was back on and goodbye hand washing dishes! $200 bucks well spent. Ace is great, Yelp is great, and our lives are improved. Love this app, used to be an elite, but still use this app as a solid resource to get through life and find great BBQ. read more

The electricians showed up on time, answered all my questions, and even came up with a less expensive method for installing the ceiling fans without a complete rewiring. Ace Electrical Services is First Class! Very Professional and Personable! I used Yelp to send out quotes to 5 different companies and the owner Joel responded within 15 mins. Keep in mind this was about 9pm on Friday when I was searching for a company to come and wire up a transfer switch to my electrical panel so that I can use my generator to provide back up power to my home. Joel was not only the quickest to respond, but he was also very reasonably priced. I let Joel know that I would like to provide the material to save on some cost, he was very helpful and asked that I send him what I was looking to purchase to ensure the equipment would be sufficient for the job. Joel showed up on time, did a great job installing the transfer switch that ended up looking amazing!!! Like it belonged there! A very professional looking installation. When I had an electrical problem, Ace was one of three companies suggested by Home Advisor. They were the first to contact me and make an appointment (same day!). The owner, Joel, is a Master Electrician and did a thorough inspection. I decided to follow his recommendation of a complete rewire since I was contemplating extensive renovation which would require dependable wiring. He and his crew, Johnny and son and Edgar were at the house the next day getting the job started. The crew worked every day until it was all done. Every evening, the house was left in excellent order, swept and cleaned. There were minimal openings made in the walls. In fact, when the city inspector cam to approve the work, he didn't believe a rewire had been done as there were so little visible openings in the walls.
