    light fixture

    I needed 2 light fixtures hung then when I call the next day to ask if he could come and lower the 2 fixtures he wanted to charge me a fee which I thought was discerning after I just paid you all I need it lower the light fixture a little to high to the ceiling haven't heard from him since hadn't call to see when he can help me just thought they were a reputable company the out here doing ungodly business . thank you

    Amazing service. Paul Richard responded to me within minutes of my request for a quote. He was professional and prompt. He quoted my job and since we had done our research we knew the price was reasonable and competitive. He sent a service technician out (on a Sunday; for a very small urgent fee) and we were so grateful that he did. When I requested information prior to the technician, Paul gave me a great overview of their training, schooling and the company's commitment for the technicians. *you should ask for one it is great knowledge. Juan Carlos our technician came out a lot quicker than I expected and finished the job very efficiently. Juan was very impressive and he was kind.     Been having some electrical issues in my newly purchased townhome which is over 30 years old. David was dispatched within 2 hours. He was kind and knowledgeable. Within 30 min he was able to diagnose the issue and had the problem remedied. I also requested a quote since the electrical panel will need to be moved and replaced soon. I was told I would have it within 24 hours. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

    technician was late from a previous job and dispatch did not give us a heads up, i had to check and luckily we were able to rearrange our schedule. Besides this i'll keep the 5 stars as technician stayed late to finish the job properly, was polite and I got charged what i was quoted. So i recommend their services

    Juan Carlos was knowledgeable, courteous and very efficient. This company came out quicker than I expected and Juan was finished within hours of arriving. My panel is completely upgraded and he even cleaned up the entire area. Paul Richard the owner spoke to me directly and stayed in touch until the task was completed. It is my pleasure to recommend this company and Juan. Great job guys. You can see what a difference it made the new one is fabulous. The old one got surged and wouldn't work at all. Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects.     Absolutely recommend!!!…read more I rarely do reviews that aren't restaurants but Richmond's Air was so great I think it's important that people know what the experience is like. First: Competitors I got several estimates - My home warranty's contractor, Home Depot/ARS, a friend's husband, and Richmond's Air. Richmond's Air was the most reasonable price among all estimates, even the friend! He also took less than 30 minutes to take a look and give me an estimate. Home Depot was here for hours and gave me a presentation and ultimately an unbelievably high price which they later slashed by $4k when I said I wouldn't choose them. Still too high, also weird that they were gonna charge $4k extra? Second: Communication/Punctuality James told me a reasonable window of time that the team would arrive and also when they'd complete the job. They gave me a call beforehand to let me know they were running a little late, regardless the job was done on time (same day). They replaced everything but my furnace. Finally: Service The team was friendly and explained anything I asked about and even helped me install my new thermostat. They put a drop cloth down from the front door to the AC and left minimal dust or mess. They also gave me the manuals for the equipment as well as told me about the 10 year warranty. This was all a month ago and my AC has been working perfectly since and air quality reads way cleaner than when I moved in. Dealing with a broken AC in Houston is horrible and I highly recommend reaching out to Richmond's Air instead of wasting time shopping for multiple other quotes. Maybe get one other one and compare, you'll see the difference. Price, service, and quality were great. Would definitely call again for my next home.

It turned out to be a problem install and Jesse and his crew went WAY BEYOND ALL REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS I had to talk them into a less desirable outcome because of the way my patio was constructed. It was AWESOME to see someone work so HARD to do it the correct way. THANK YOU AGAIN, Jesse and crew!!!

    TLDR: Good work if not lengthy, Good Price, mediocre after job care and initial impression left me…read moreunimpressed. Late billing and lack of follow up on next job disappointed me the most. I contacted Swisher to handle a dubious problem and after 12 Man hours of searching for and subsequently fixing the issue I am quite saddened to write a non 5 start review. However there is away you do business and I do not felt I received 5-Star service. Why I gave a star: +Fixed Issue +Fair Price -Initial Impression -Job length and crew competency -After Job clean up poor (Wire bits, loose sockets, they even took my Dimmer and swapped it for a switch :( ) The crew was professional and nice but after 2 days and 10 man hours of hunting for the solution to this issue Jesse was was inbound to fix this once and for all. His crew was professional and always answered my questions which I appreciated but the first time I would meet the owner was not so pleasant. I can recall seeing this guy walk up to the site visibly annoyed and then proceed right past me in to my home without so much as a "hey". I can recall one of his guys even saying this is the home owner, referring to me, to which he continued to walk by. That aside he went to work and located a nicked wire in the wall within about 1 hour and the issue was wrapped within 2 hours. Skilled to say the least. After getting to the issue he calmed down and explained the issue to me. Right about when the crew was leaving I pointed out that many plugs where not covered by face plates which they happily did. It wast until a few days later my wife informed me of a loose light switch socket, and a missing Dimmer switch ("DIMMER" 4/18/18 --RIP) that had been swapped to a regular light switch, I even checked and found a couple of loose plug covers and one plug that had been stripped and re-drilled it. Every where work had been done there were wire bits and copper pieces in some amount. Billing was even strange since the work was done 4/18/18 and the bill was not received until 5/3/18. Jessie even failed to follow up on about ~$2600 worth of Fuse box work. I mean who doesn't want to get money? My Dimmer was to be replaced when the Fuse box was installed, so I guess I'll have to take that loss. All in all they got the job done and for the man hours the owner billed fairly. You should give them a chance as I felt my situation was different and according o the other reviews most likely an anomaly.
