Aaron worked with us to make sure the next one we ordered would fit well on our cement patio. He was in constant communication from start to finish. He installed our new one and went above and beyond our expectations. The bolts that were sent were too small and he felt that wouldn't keep our gazebo secure. This man is a crook and scam artist and should not be hired. Two months ago we hired him to…read moreinstall fence gates on our current house and gave him a 50% deposit. We allowed him to remove gates from another property we owned to be used in this project. He took 3 gates worth over $200 and never installed those gates for us, being a no-show or claiming an emergency over 5 times. Then he wanted to charge us more than the original contract. We fired him for breach of contract and he still refused to issue us the $40 refund requested, even after we said he could keep the $200 gates. We had to dispute it with our credit card company. We were very kind to him and did not deserve this treatment.

I paid him $19,350 between deposit and installments to keep the job I hired him for going. The completed job was contracted at $19,800. The job was not completed; the timeline kept getting pushed back. I was lied to about supply delays that were "holding things up" to find out the supplies were not ordered. The office manager lied and strung me along many times (per Lloyd's instruction, she says). My interactions with Lloyd--only two while I was trying to get the job done--were disrespectful, unprofessional, and angry on his part. As of yesterday, the office manager told me no one has heard from Lloyd, and she will no longer have a "phone" I can contact her on. I have no choice but to purchase the remaining supplies needed and hire someone else to complete the job I have already paid Black Hills Handyman, Lloyd Darling, to do.
