Ive been eyeballing ceramic grills for years. I knew I wanted either the big Joe or the bge xl but I couldn't find a place that had the xl to be able to touch and feel. I saw Ace was a dealer so I went to try it out. I decided I liked the Kamado Joe much better at that point so went home and hopped on KJ's website and actually saw the same store was a dealer as well so u called them. Even though there were none on the floor the GM really walked me through the product over the phone. The guys there were also very helpful too. I went back and ordered. Much more affordable than ordering directly from KJ online and ace is going to deliver and assemble. Very satisfied and they are 100% my new go-to for hardware. read more

I love this Ace! I do DIY projects with my husband all the time. This location is the bomb! It is way bigger than the one in Cypress. They have everything from garage door openers, bbq grills, yeti's, patio furniture, jewelry, t-shirts and so much more. You name it they probably have it here. They have BBQ cook offs on occasion at the store. The staff here is beyond friendly. They will help you find whatever you are looking for and then some. Great staff! The best part is Ace Hardware is pet friendly!!! I wish this location was closer to me but, that might be a bad thing too. read more

This was our go-to place for hardware. My partner and I went today to purchase some wing nuts for screws we found in our garage. A cocky sales associate with long black hair, early 20s decided to make us feel stupid for asking questions. We admitted that we did not know the difference between a machine screw and a standard screw, but he kept up the condescending attitude with "what made you think you need a wing nut" and then it went downhill from there. The older sales people are friendly, but some of the younger staff need a serious attitude adjustment. We always try to support small business, but maybe we need to go to Home Depot or TruValue next time. read more

Blacks stay away! My husband and I went in looking for a few things and decided to pick up several other items why we were there. We were there about 45 mins and noticed we were constantly watched while shopping. One older gentlemen who did not acknowledge us when we walked in was very blatant to the point of coming stand near the register while we were checking out and watching the basket and each item as I took them out the basket to ring up. I said something to him about it and he did not deny he was watching us and said he something smart. I just left everything there. No need to spend my money here to be treated badly. This store is convenient, clean, well-stocked and I almost always find what I need there. The floor staff is helpful and I like to patronize the smaller stores versus the "big box" stores. Checking out unfortunately is almost always difficult. Either their cashiers or the system is very slow and today, after waiting for two cashiers to finish visiting with the customer ahead of me and their dog, a third cashier offered to assist. I waited for three minutes for him to log on and he finally gave up and told me I would have to wait for one of the other cashiers to check out my items. I chose another option and simply left. After several second chances to this store I am finished and will be driving to Lowe's. read more

BEWARE! I have been a frequent customer at my local store and visiting my what used to be favorite store. I have been going here for 10 years people. I loved looking in the boutique at all their fun stuff. They always had fun and cute stuff. As I was checking out I met the rudest lady. She accused me of stealing reading glasses that I had simply tried on earlier. This has been the worst experience ever and proves they just don't care whatsoever for customers or even maintaining a good rep. I am happily taking my business to any other store and hope to see others follow! read more

Be careful when trying to order a paint color match. What they do not tell you at the paint desk is they only guarantee an 80% match...whatever that means. Really miss the original owner and staff of this convenient store. read more

I bought an over priced dryer duct that ended up being the wrong size. I went to return it and they would not exchange it for store credit ( I did not save my receipt). The lady was also rude. I don't mind paying extra if there is good customer service but sadly this store does not offer low prices or good customer service. read more
