The delivery date was changed to the following day which I had no problem with. I was told that they would be at my house between 7 and 11 AM. I was up at 5:30 in the morning to empty my fridge and get everything ready for them to take it away. At 9:30 I received a text saying that they had changed the date from Saturday, December 20 to Monday, December 22. At that point I canceled the order completely. I followed up in the store and I was told that I would not get my credit $1500 for 5 to 7 days even though I paid with a debit card They were treating it as I had paid with a credit card. I do not recommend the Home Depot to anyone go anywhere else but. Still trying to get my money back.

They saw me but made no move to acknowledge me. I waited several minutes and the cashier looked at me and asked "pick up?" I said yeah. He said he would be with me after finishing the transaction. He came over and I told him the name on the order when the other 3 employees sprang to action like they were good employees. What a joke! I I were the manager, they would be canned. You don't just ignore the customer, they're the reason you have a job! Will be letting home office in Atlanta know and I'm sure it's all on their store cameras.

Florida 2025:…read more Unfortunately with the Gen Z and Millennial folks who hire new employees, they will not hire Gen X 45-60 years old or any senior age 60 and older. The preference in hiring is someone in their 20-35 years old range and preferably Spanish speaking. In interviewing potential new employees, loyalty to the job, never calling off, willing to work extra shifts, coming in early to work, working really hard and enthusiastically, being customer oriented, dressed professional in interviewing with a professional resume and cover letter, having college degrees, and having relevant work experiences mean nothing to the Gen Z and Millennial hiring folks. They just hire people they want to hang with, more like looking for new friends. This is especially true of Lowe's.

(unit designed to be in the garage) It started icing up immediately at the top and I noticed a small area at the top of the door that looked damaged. We called within a week of their delivery and they said that they couldnt do anything about it because it was past the 48hr window. NOWHERE DID IT SAY THAT WE HAD 48HRS TO RETURN A DEFECTIVE ITEM. They said we had to go through the manufacturer. We jumped though all their hoops with pictures and videos and required steps to perform only to tell us that it was normal. The unit never shuts off and feels hot to the touch. This is the second one we bought as we liked the 1st one and we had no problems at all with that one. So this isnt normal. If you buy anything from LOWES you should know that you have ONLY 48 hours to find out if it is defective. If it is after that you are on your own with robots and AI telling you that the defects are your problem. Very poor way to do buisness. We have been a customer for years and because of this we will no longer trust them our business.

I made the mistake of purchasing a Stihl MS 171 chainsaw from this Ace Hardware store - clearly a…read moremajor mistake as it is a disappointing and frustrating piece of garbage. I strongly recommend against buying one. Moreover, I will never go to this dealer - Carter Ace Hardware in Eustis, FL - again. They have lost a customer and I advise others to not shop there as well. When the dealer tried to demo the chainsaw for me after I'd purchased it, it would not start and kept stalling out. The dealer said their Stihl tech would be in a couple of days later and they were sure it probably just needed a minor adjustment. The dealer called Tuesday afternoon telling me the carburetor merely needed to be adjusted, it was now working great and I could come to pick it up. When I went to the Carter Ace Hardware store to pick up the chainsaw, two of their employees tried to demonstrate how to use the saw. They, again, had significant difficulties trying to start it and keep it running. I should have cancelled my purchase then and there and asked for a refund. Major mistake on my part that I didn't. UGH. After considerable effort, they finally managed to get it running. Being a trusting individual, I made the mistake of believing their employees telling me if I had any issues I could return it. Although concerned, I very reluctantly took it home. Please note - between the time I first committed to purchase the saw and when I went in to pick it up, I watched Stihl chainsaw videos online and downloaded and read the entire Owner's Manual for the saw. Twice in the past three days since purchasing the saw I've tried to use it. Each time the saw was difficult to start and keep running. If I paused using the saw and turned it off - it was difficult to restart and took considerable effort and patience to restart to continue using it. This morning I took the saw back to Carter's Ace Hardware to return it. They were not receptive. One of the same employees who had struggled to demo the saw took it outside and, of course, it started right up and seemed to work fine. Must be operator error on my part. The bottom line - I own a chainsaw that I strongly believe is an absolute piece of garbage and DO NOT want. You will probably see it for sale on FB Marketplace or eBay because I'll definitely be buying a competitor's product. Any recommendations???

There were basic errors--inexcusable for a pool company--such as forgetting to install the gas infrastructure for the summer kitchen, poor flooring drainage, and the use of second-rate materials for the summer kitchen. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this company.
