I placed a significant order on June 28, 2026 (Order #redacted) for a full set of premium Ninja grilling gear: the Ninja Artisan Ceramic Grill Pizza Stone (16 in. LX 16 in. W), the Ninja FlexFlame ProConnect 3 Burner Liquid Propane Grill and Smoker (Black with Griddle Accessory), the Ninja Black Grill Cover, and the Ninja Stainless Steel Grill Rack (15 lb, 24.33 in. LX 9.65 in. W). This was specifically for my kids and grandkids visiting for the week of the 4th of July--America's 250th birthday. I wanted to host memorable family cookouts, pizzas on the stone, smoking, and grilling with everyone together. The order was supposed to be delivered on July 2nd. Instead, Ace Hardware completely failed me with zero communication. No delivery on the 2nd. No email updates. Nothing. On July 3rd, I called the local store to arrange pickup, only to be told the entire order had been cancelled. I then called Ace Hardware customer service, and they confirmed the cancellation but could provide zero explanation for why it happened. No apology of substance, no offer to expedite a replacement, no compensation--just a shrug and "it's cancelled." This level of incompetence is infuriating. I planned around their promised delivery. I told my family we'd have this new setup ready. Instead, I'm scrambling last-minute on a holiday weekend, dealing with disappointment, and explaining to grandkids why we can't use the gear we were excited about. No "processing" updates, no "out of stock" heads-up, no courtesy call or email--they just vanished the order like it never existed. For a major holiday purchase tied to family memories, this is unacceptable. Ace Hardware's system is broken. Their communication is nonexistent. Their customer service is useless. They ruined what should have been a highlight of our family reunion. I've shopped at Ace for years expecting small-town reliability with big-box inventory, but this experience proves they're just another unreliable corporation that doesn't care once the order is placed. Do not buy from Ace Hardware online. They will let you down at the worst possible time with zero accountability. I will be taking my business elsewhere and warning everyone I know. Strongly recommend avoiding Ace Hardware for any time-sensitive or important purchases. read more

I live in the St. Andrews area, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to drive to this location with the summer traffic. I enjoy visiting this well-organized and clean store and purchasing what I need for home projects and gardening supplies. I particularly like the selection of discs for disc golf, the grilling area, and the garden sections. The team members are attentive, helpful, and willing to stop and listen to what you are searching for. I really enjoy this store. read more

This store is very convenient to the Calloway/ Parker area . I go here when I need a few things. I generally go to the other 2 stores on 23rd street. Mostly the depot. I find that Ace has some things that the other 2 large stores don't have ,such as black pipe fittings if You're repairing or adding some gas line. Lowe's has some black pipe nipples up to 4' but not all the fittings. The prices here are a little higher but by time you drove into town it would have cost you more in gas. Also, I receive mailings every month with $5.00 off when you spend $25.00. They have $10.00 off coupons also. read more

Good local hardware store for pretty much all of your needs. They are an authorized Stihl dealer and usually have a full assortment of Stihl products for any budget. I'm in the market for a new trimmer and will likely purchase it here. Support local business instead of the big box outlets whenever you can. This is the closest Ace Hardware to me so I shop there fairly often. I went in there to get a few things and realized I had locked my keys in my truck after I came through the register. I flipped my wallet opened to get my spare key out and it was broken in half, it had been in there for years. I carried it inside and was helped by Talen, Jaden, Jessica, and Kenny. They got the broken key, stuck back together with tape and made me some new keys. They saved me and also gained a technique they didn't have before. Awesome awesome job. A-OK for sure. Not the best nor the worst. I asked for help from the cashier when I walked in. She acted confused and slightly annoyed but agreed to call someone over to help me. I ended up having to seek someone out after no one showed up. The person who helped me a was really friendly and offered good solutions even though they didn't have what I was looking for. When nothing they had would work she listed off several other places in the same area that might have what I needed. The cashier wasn't very friendly when I checked out, which is disappointing to me. If you work in a retail location you really have to have good customer service. If you don't like what you do and don't want to be nice to customers then you really should get a different job. read more

Cashier was really rude I've asked if she could call the manager over because I have a craftsman exchange and its lifetime tool and she gave me such a hard time getting her to get the manager up front then he brings me over to the tools and says he can't help me because I need a receipt which I expended to him how craftsman is guaranteed lifetime tool and it wasn't even abused. So I left and called the company and they were no help at all. I went right to Sears and they heard me out and agreed about the downfall of company with that issue as well. My tool wasn't USA made prior before and now I'm deeply upset the way our country is not proudly making one of the best name in tools. I'm done with ace! It's over priced and small. read more

Never and I mean, NEVER, shop here. They have the rudest associates. I walked around, passing multiple employees who would literally walk away from me when trying to get help. Not to mention the absolutely disgusting cashier, faith was the name on her vest, who's uniform was extremely too small with her stomach literally hanging out of her shirt, she was the most lazy and rude person I have ever met! Been to a few Ace Hardwares in my time. I've usually had good experiences and service. Although smaller than some of the big box stores, they serve a good need and I've been happy with them. Not so much with corporate/website though. Being very interested in a purchase, I contacted the website with a lengthy and specific inquiry but got no reply! I contacted them once more and still no response. I just don't understand why they have available the email service on their website if they are not going to respond to their customers questions or concerns! read more

As soon as you walk in you will notice that the place is a disorganized mess with aisles you can barely get down, and nothing is labeled. The staff will actively ignore you or act so vaguely as so make no difference. They don't know anything about the products they are selling. The selection is very limited, most of it is overpriced, and the plants are all half dead from neglect. If you see me in there again it's because I'm dead and that's where the killer dumped the body. read more
