On one occasion, my husband was attempting to purchase some items at the cash register; the Home Depot cashier just looked at with the stink eye & refused to wait on him. He walked out. I myself formerly worked for Home Depot & I can tell ya that this crap would not fly! Today, we called asking if they sell cattle panels. We may as well have been talking Greek. Standing a self checkout and before my reciept even comes out of machne the employee walks over with a nasty attitude and asks if im gong to pay for my stuff. I showed her my reciept, she checks everything and says ok and walks away. No thank you or have a good day, nothing. I sent a message to corporate and they said thanks for telling us but again no apology or even have a nice day. Im still really mad. I continue to be so disappointed and distressed that Home Depot or my representative, DP83SS, (Deborah Poole) have not returned any of my calls or responded to any of my emails. Perhaps, just recognizing and acknowledging my dissatisfaction with the product might have been enough but it's been festering with me that no one has contacted me to see what's going on, what went wrong or even just a quality check upon install to see how the project went. My counter-top install occurred in November 2019. Please take note of these photos: my beautiful counter-tops, that I saved for over one year to get, are grossly cut and installed. The connection point is right in the middle of the sink area. Not only is it ugly and unattractive and takes away from the beauty of the quartz, it is not stable or strong and I do not expect to get even 3 years out of them because of this gross negligence. I was not able to "send back" or decline the order because of some "contract" I had signed with the installer. I had to pay in full before the order was even processed. I expressed my dissatisfaction about paying for the counter-tops pre-install but trusted that Home Depot would do the right thing and ensure customer satisfaction. I was and continue to be, sorely mistaken. You should be ashamed; of this incompetence, your absolute disregard for customer service or satisfaction. I am a Human Resource Manager supporting a major Fortune 100 company and we've based our reputation on our customer service, and the overall customer experience. I have further home remodeling to perform including a master bath and a home addition and you can bet I will not step foot into another Home Depot. Came to the Panama City Beach Home Depot today (Christmas Eve) in need of a new refrigerator. Ours broke and we were in dire need of a new one ASAP. I inquired about the clearance so i could take home today. They did not honor the price on the refrigerator. It did have a 20% off extended valid through 12-21 date on it and also had "extended" written on it. The salesman contacted the manager (Carlos) to see if he would still honor the price. Carlos said it wasn't in the end of year budget for him to honer the 20% but he would give me 10% for my troubles. This was also after I rented Ramps and a appliance dolly. I went across the street to Lowe's. I'll never shop here again. read more

I saw a display for Deepwoods Off and the sign in the back of the display that you had to walk by said "any 3 cans for $10. When I went to checkout it rang up at the regular price. My husband went to take a picture of the sign to show the cashier. One of the managers came out and told him that because the sign was on the back of the display she would not honor it. "Lisa" the manager got rather rude and tore the sign up in front of him and said she would not sell it to him at the advertised price . We were traveling through town visiting our son. Washer and dryer scheduled to be delivered between 3 PM and 7 PM. So, someone took off work to be there. The delivery tracking info said at 5 o'clock we were next for delivery. At 7:15, it had not arrived. Called the delivery hotline and recorded info said the driver was delayed and would call 30 minutes before arrival. 8 PM, still no washer and dryer. I love this store, but BUYER BEWARE when purchasing GE appliances. GE will not replace or reimburse for appliances that have problems. They won't even extend the warranty for ongoing problems. I have been replacing older, major appliances with GE (3) and the refrigerator has already been repaired twice in less than 6 months. It also leaked water all under a wall and into carpeting. Because they only have one service person to cover the entire area, it took 5 days to get it repaired and the clean up was not easy. I thought, no problem, they'll replace it. WRONG! HORRIBLE experience with this store! First of all, my order was not delivered at the promised time, I didn't even get a phone call in regard. I had to go into the store and inquire in the flooring department when my order would be delivered. Of course they had lost it and had to scramble and do a "special delivery". (Good thing I have nothing better to do than chase them down to make sure they are doing their job). So once my flooring was delivered, I asked the flooring manager who came out if EVERYTHING was included in the order, as I was told previously the "transitionals" would have to be "special order"; he assured me everything was there and we could set up installation. HD apparently subcontracts with US Installations in this area and they really take the cake, for terrible customer service that is. To start, they rescheduled our installation FOUR different times, with no given notice three of those times. I had to call the company myself to ask when they might be showing up. I has to change my work schedule (which includes changing my patients appointments) three times. Also, we had to reschedule and have since had to temporarily postpone our move, as our floors STILL aren't installed correctly, a week later. Mind you, this was promised to be a one day job as it simply required installation of laminate to 3 bedrooms, on a concrete slab floor. LONG story short, we have had to cancel our move, once again. The floors still aren't done, and we have no idea when they will be. Royally disappointed. I will NEVER shop at Home Depot or utilize their installation company ever again. read more

Made a large purchase (flooring) to start the renovation process on our home. Was told I would have my flooring in 3 days. A week later half my flooring was sold to someone else, and they were trying to send me home with mixed dye lots from product they integrated from different stores. I was treated rudely and was never once addressed by a store manager with respect as a customer and a sincere apology. It would take a full page to list the unprofessional actions and behaviors that took place over the process of this transaction. I would not advise anyone to use this store at all. The Customer Care Line has not even followed through with the things they have said. So, it makes one wonder if Home Depot even cares about their customers at all. Beware.....PCB Home Depot tool rental, disrespectful, unknowledgeable, crooks. I rented a tool from them that had a faulty blade, I was told it was my fault. It is on video of Dewayne (employee) giving me faulty blade and explaining why he was giving me that blade to use. Unfortunately Clint (manager) does not have access to video. When it first happened I sent someone to exchange the blade and was told they didn't have a replacement, okay no big deal, I'll try to find one elsewhere and still use the machine. I told my guy to leave the bad blade with them and get a receipt, Dewayne would NOT give my guy a receipt or anything saying he brought back the bad blade. He told my guy to take it with him. I called Dewayne at Home Depot to make sure I wouldn't be charged for the rental of the blade, he was rude and sarcastic and said I could speak to a manager he guessed. That's when I had the pleasure of meeting Clint on the phone (manager). Clint informed me that he couldn't make a decision about it without talking to his employees. Not seeming very sympathetic (Clint) about the situation and understanding that this is costing me money. I decided just to return the machine and everything. I left Home Depot with the rental at 10:05 am and returned it at about 3:30-45 pm ( work was in Panama City), They charged me $200.00 for a rental I couldn't use. Dewayne and Clint really need a lesson on business ethics as well as customer service. They obviously don't care about repeat business. When I checked out at 10 in the morning there was a female employee there as well, her and Dewayne were openly disrespecting another female customer in front of me.... a customer. Very unprofessional. I have been a customer of Home Depot for over 25 years. Worst experience ever. I was hoping I could make money with their tool rental but I guess I was wrong. We have tried to purchase cellular blinds,that block out the sun and help with the heat. We were charged to have someone come measure the blinds and we picked out the color and style. The clerk was aware that the blinds were for a large boat. We were waiting, patiently, to hear from Lisa, the person to measure and install the blinds. After several days, we called and were told that they couldn't install blinds on a boat because of insurance. I think this is not true because we had someone from Home Depots come measure for blinds on the boat in Galveston.It is unlikely that it would be a concern for insurance in one store and not in another. There are numerous boats in Panama City,as there are several marinas. If you happen to own a boat and you wish to update your blinds, don't bother with Home Depot. They won't even have the courtesy to inform you that they are not going to come. This is our second bad experience trying to purchase blinds from Home Depot. In Galveston, we stayed an extra month in a marina,waiting for the blinds,and were told that the order was messed up and nobody bother to inform us that time, either. read more
