I overheard them stressing over how they were going to get around that night so I made a few phone calls and wound up speaking to Ace. He made me feel at ease knowing that he would have a vehicle larger emough for 6 and that he would definitely be picking them up. I travel a lot for business and use Ace Limos anytime I need a ride to or from the airport. They are always there, even if my flight gets delayed. I recently had a 5 hour delay out of Chicago. Worst limousine service EVER! Please do not give into their low prices. They have zero class, completely unprofessional, and horribly managed. They manager on the phone literally called me "sweetie," and when I said don't you dare call me that again he actually said,"What, is your husband going to come beat me up?" Seriously? What business would say something like that? So trashy. AND, the limo that came to pick us up for our wedding it had virtually zero air conditioning and holes in the ceiling where the safety bars were suppose to be. In our contract it said it would seat 16, when in actuality it barely sat 14. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Don't do it. The manager said they owed us nothing from our horrible experience. Usually when friends from out of town visit Austin for the first time we rent a limo and take them around to all the nice restaurants and bars. Well my little brother came in and I decided to give Ace Limos a try. It was the worse limo I've ever been in. - Limo was VERY dated and the tint was peeling off the windows. - AC Hardly worked (and it as in August) - Smelled really bad in the limo - Bluetooth did not work - Did not have an adapter for the phone to listen to music - Speakers were blown out in the limo We usually hit up hula hut, and I know from previous limo drivers that theres no way their limo can pull up front because of the dip. I decided to let the driver know this, he thanked me for this. Fast forward a few hours of drinking we headed to Stomping Grounds off Anderson which is near our home and a last stop for us. The driver goes to pull in and bottoms out the limo. So we get out and try to help push the limo forward which does not work. At that point we just leave the driver and go inside. Cops show up, wreckers show up because this limo is teetertotting on the damn entrance. While this was pretty funny, I felt bad for the driver as he was pretty nice. They finally got the limo un teetered and we left after that. It's a terrible limo. If they get a new one and a new driver I'd be more than glad to try them out again. The driver was nice, but c'mon you gotta know that limo ain't gonna make it over steep entrances. read more

Recently booked Ace to take me and some friends down to float the river and wow what a great experience! He was very professional picked us up at our requested time and was very flexible with scheduling. The limo he took us in had an awesome sound system and at one point we couldn't figure out how to use the radio in the back so he pulled over on the side of the highway and showed us how it worked and told us "If your riding with me I wanna make sure your having a great time!". It was a small gesture, but meant the fact the he pulled over to make sure we were getting the experience we paid for. This guy opens the doors for you every time, is willing take pictures for you and all your friends and is very accommodating if you need to pull over to use the bathroom or to simply pick up more beer haha. The only mishap we had was that we floated the river and it took longer than expected and we weren't able to get a ride back because of some miscommunication, but he was very kind and professional and I talked to him about the pricing and we came to a solid resolution. Overall great service, great ride, very reasonable price if your splitting it amongst friends and would book him again for any other future events! Thanks Ace you the Man! read more

Zero stars!! Zero professionalism! They never showed up after having our Hill Country wine tour booked (and paid in full) for over two months for a party of eight people! At first, they were going to be late, but that went on and on for three hours. Finally they called telling us they could not make it at all. By that point, we'd wasted half our time we had to visit the local wineries in the Fredericksburg area for the only day we could take the tour! We ended up having to do as we did not want, and have two of our group as designated drivers for the wine tastings. Being prom night in the Austin area, we just wondered if they got a "better offer" from some wealthy parent needing OUR car for their kid...? Ace Limo, what do you have to say for yourselves? Also, reason I rented this limo was told it could seat "12 large men comfortably". This was over the top untrue. Very nice & helpful driver with a nice & clean SUV. We were in town for a concert. We were picked up from our hotel on time. Taken to the 360 Amphitheater to the show, picked up afterward. It was late but the driver was willing to take us to grab food on the way to the hotel, didn't rush us and was timely with our schedule. A very basic amenity in your limo could be a huge ordeal: I get a call an hour before the limo is to show stating there was a wild party the night before that resulted in all 14 glasses being broken. I was then told that there were plastic Dixie cups I could use. Um, no and no. Had to go round and round with the driver. This was for a wine tour, not to mention a very special someone's birthday. I did not pay hundreds of dollars to be in a nice ride only to be drinking out of some raggedy ass picnic cup, thank you. The limo driver proceeded to tell me he would be late because he had to stop by the office to get more glasses. (No problem there at all - I really appreciated that because those glasses were vital for what we had planned and we certainly weren't in a place to go buy some ourselves within an hour.) Later, the driver tells me he caught hell for getting glasses from the owner. He states the owner said he doesn't provide glasses and I should read my contract. Uh --- I had 2 pages of contract that a 5 year old could read in 22 seconds and it says nothing of the sort (I did double check). What it does say is that you will be charged for broken/missing items - and guess what - glasses are specifically mentioned (so how can you break it or take it if it's not there in the first place???). I even asked ahead of time to make sure the limo had 14 glasses btw; the answer was yes. Another case in point: Owner says he's getting an iPod jack installed in the future. Driver says they have one already but the owner gets mad every time someone takes a cord, so you can't use it and the owner just leaves the access of the DVD and CD player (you can only use one or the other, not both at the same time btw). Let me throw the good in here: The limo was pretty clean and close to what was advertised (though only 14 children would fit in there comfortably, not 14 grown adults). The limo driver did call the day before to ask if we wanted water or sodas. He did have a few in the limo. He did have ice. He did have a corkscrew. He even had 12 glasses when it was all said and done. He also gave me some helpful info on the places we were going. He even went above and beyond to go retrieve someone's purse that was left at the first winery. I really appreciated his efforts and tipped him a second time, beyond the initial mandatory 20% because of it. If you want a straight answer it probably won't be found at Ace Limos: When I paid for the limo upfront, I was also charged a mandatory 20% tip. Awesome, I love getting all of the financials out of the way. What wasn't awesome was that when the limo driver made it known that he had to go over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house to get those glasses, he also asked that I take care of him (and no, he did NOT mean like that). Uh really - tip you for something that is supposed to be standard and had nothing to do with me as to why it was such an ordeal? I proceeded to tell him that he should already have a 20% tip. OUR LIMOUSINE NEVER ARRIVED! We had a limousine reserved for my sister's bachelorette party scheduled to arrive at 10am. At 9:45am the owner of the company called to say the limousine would be approximately 30 minutes late due to a flat tire. At 10:30am, I called the owner back, who then informed me he had lied earlier and that the driver "had diarrhea" and could not pick us up. He had a car and no driver. He offered to cancel a limo scheduled for a prom group that evening to make it up to me, which seemed absurd since that would have ruined their evening, and our event would have been done by that time. Ultimately, we found another company that saved the day and was able to pick us up and take us to our destination. If you want a limo to take you to your event, do not use Ace Limousine. read more

I really wanted to use this company because the car pictures he texted me looked really clean, but due to so many bad reviews I decided to ask him some questions. He got really defensive when I asked him if the a/c worked (reviews had mention a/c issues and I wanted to make sure this problem had been resolved). Rented a limo for my engagement party from Austin Limos, and ended up having too many people RSVP yes and had to get a last minute limo from ACE Limos. Thankfully he had something available. Limo arrived and we had half our group go in one and half go in the other, the limo from ACE broke down on the way to the party on the side of a bridge!! Thankfully we had the second limo turn around and pick them up to take them to the party. The driver called and said they were sending a second car to take us home at the end of the night. Well that didn't happen, instead they just tried to fix the vehicle, so on the way home IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN! Leaving my fiance stranded once again! I had to send the other limo company to pick them up again! Causing me to pay over time to that driver. Then the owner calls me at midnight trying to make things better and only give me half a refund. I told him we needed to discuss it Monday morning not while I was drinking and entertaining a bunch of guests. With the advisory of my fiance and family, I stopped payment on my credit card because I was not going to pay for a failed service. The OWNER of the company sent me hateful text messages telling me KARMA will get me. Very classy. Clearly this man doesn't know how to own up to his companies mistakes. read more

First of all he was late, since when do you wait on the limo...they're supposed to wait on you! It was also one of the raggediest limos I've ever had the displeasure of being in. The so called blue tooth radio system didn't work, most of the glasses were dirty and then as we were leaving our last winery we had to wait for this arrogant jerk again! He made no apologies for anything and still wanted to charge us for an extra hour! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Very poor service, old fleet and air conditioning barely works. Booked directly with Ace the owner - paid upfront prior to the trip. Upon getting into the limo the driver apologized for the air and said it would get cooler along the way - which it barely did. Once we arrived to the winery we informed the driver of a low tire which he did nothing! We had a flat five minutes after getting resuming the trip. The car had s donut tire and NO jack! We were told that we had to wait for AAA.... Car now 80% inside! So one of use solicited help from a neighbor with s jack. As the neighbor fixes the flat - the driver stands talking on the phone. The owner agreed to send another limo to meet us at our next destination (salt lick) and to provide another hour of service HOWEVER once we finished getting our food and were getting into the new limo were were told that he would not take us any further unless he could swipe my credit card .... I asked why since we had already paid upfront and needless to say we were not at our original pickup point ....normally that's where all final transactions take place!! Needless to say - the driver took off and left the 8 of us at Salt Lick ... Lots of choice words back and forth occurred after that between myself and the owner ..check out BBB. read more

Absolutely NOT worth your money. If I could give this company zero stars, I would most certainly do it. My best friend is getting married in July, and for the weekend of her shower, we planned a winery tour in the hill country. The day started off nicely, our driver was extremely polite and well mannered - the *only* high point to this company as far as I'm concerned. The limo showed up on time, although it was rather rough around the edges, with peeling paint and radios that didn't function at 100%, but we weren't complaining about that. We immediately got on the road, with only 8 people (which, btw, filled up the limo that was supposed to seat 10), and found out pretty quickly that the car had such awful shocks and low clearance that we scraped bottom at even the smallest incline. Even this only produced some laughs throughout the day - we were in good spirits. The real fun started when we left Fredericksburg after our last winery to head back to Round Rock, where we started (95 miles). Approximately 10 minutes down the road, the scrape plate on the bottom of the limo fell off, which immediately led to one of the rear tires exploding. At this point, we definitely had a problem. We pulled over onto the (nonexistent) shoulder, which basically left us mostly in the right lane of a fast moving highway with cars and trucks speeding around us. The driver attempted to contact the main office for instructions and AAA for assistance, neither of which were helpful. The 8 of us piled out of the car and onto the side of the road to wait. After unsuccessfully trying numerous times to reach the owner of the company, the driver gave up and began searching the truck for a jack and a spare. Ha. The spare was actually a donut. And the jack wasn't rated for the weight of the car. In the process of trying to lift the car, it fell, narrowly missing the drivers hands, as well as those of the State Trooper who had pulled over at this point to help us. Luckily, he had a much larger jack in his car and was able to lift the car to put the donut on. At which point all of us began to wonder at the safety of putting 8 passengers, a driver, our stuff and the weight of the car on a donut that looked more appropriate for a small sedan. We eventually got in touch with "Ace". Apparently the owner. And, as if the story above wasn't enough, Ace made things even better! When we expressed our concerns about riding another 90 miles back to Round Rock on an unsafe tire, he suggested that we all search our purses for a full size spare that was more appropriate. When we explained how that might be a little unlikely, his only other suggestion was to walk. So, here's what ended up happening: three people went back with the Limo - this was the safest number that the Trooper and two other Sherriff's officers felt comfortable with - to Round Rock, driving 50 mph the whole way. It took nearly 3 hours *after* we finally got off the side of the road. Three of us rode with the Trooper who was kind enough to drive us all the way back to Round Rock, which was 100 miles away from his patrol area, so that we could get a vehicle to go pick up the remaining two people who rode with the Sheriff's car to the nearest town to wait in a restaurant for a ride back. I understand that accidents happen. Cars get flats, they break down. I get it. However, when you own a transportation company that people often rely on for special events and big days (like Bachelorette parties and weddings!), you should always have a *safe* and reliable back up plan in the event of an emergency. When we initially spoke with Ace, all we asked for was some sort of vehicle to come and pick us up. Had the circumstances been different, i.e. had we been in a city or closer to home, like Austin, it would have been simple enough to grab a cab and go from there. That was not the case - we were in the middle of nowhere, stranded on the side of a no shoulder highway. Not only did the owner not provide us a safe way home, but laughed at the idea that he should somehow be responsible for doing so. I shudder to think about how this day would have gone if we had rented his services for my friend's wedding, instead of just the bachelorette party. My daughter was graduating from school this year, and her wish was to have a limo pick her up so she and her friends could ride around Austin and celebrate. I didn't think I could afford one, but then I bought a Groupon for Ace Limo. When I called, Ace was the one who picked up the phone, and he couldn't have been a nicer man! He, actually, got excited for my daughter and he made me feel happy when I hung up. I had some questions leading up to the date, and had a hard time trying to catch anyone on the phone, but when I emailed, I received courteous, quick responses. The day of graduation, Ace Limo sent out a DOUBLE STRETCH limo, much to my surprise and to the delight of the kids. The driver, Rob, was super friendly and courteous. The inside of the car was clean and stocked with champagne glasses, iced waters and plastic cups. The ceiling changed colors, so that was an added cool effect! One window wasn't working, so the kids could only wave from one window, but they had a blast and I AM SO GRATEFUL that my daughter's dream came true. THANK YOU, ACE LIMO! This was by far the worst limo experience we ever had! We were shown a picture of a completely different vehicle than we got. Classic bait and switch. They were late for pickup, AC was not working, and the limo smelled. The tires were so low on one side that it completely tilted. This was a gift to our daughter and her friends for 5th grade graduation, and the Mother's were incredibly worried. I contacted Ace Limo Service out of Austin, TX based on research from their website and seemed like a reputable service. Their website portrayed beautiful limo's at reasonable prices. I contacted Noe Ramirez, the owner and he was very cordial over the phone and told me about their company and how much he would charge for 6 hours., etc . We were celebrating a very special 50th Birthday for my Best Girlfriend, who had never been in a limo before! So we planned a wine tour leaving from San Antonio, going to Comfort, Fredericksburg and Sisterdale. Not only was the driver 1 an hour and a half late, I was unable to reach the owner, Noe Ramirez, due to his voicemail box being full. When the driver arrived he said he had to clean the limo from the night before. I'm sorry but we paid for a limo from 11:00am-5pm. My credit card was charged up front on the day I booked the trip a month prior! We were ready to walk out and get in our vehicles to go find a fun place to all hang out together to celebrate the 50th Birthday when all of a sudden the limo arrived! I was already embarrassed and frustrated but after we got in the limo it stunk so bad (like a cat had sprayed inside the car) I made the driver pull around in the parking lot so I could get a can of citrus spray nutral odorizer from my vehicle. I sprayed it pretty well and seemed to eliviate some of the bad odor. Also half of the AC was not working at all. The 5 of us had to squish together to get any air from the back vents! It was pathetic! We were already 2 hours behind at this point and were trying to decide if we should go with the limo or just go on our own way. The 5 girls decided to give it a try! So Finally, at 1pm, we're on the road to our hill country wineries.. By 1:20 pm we were stuck on the side of Interstate Highway 10 a mile from Welfare! We had a huge blow out on the front left tire. It was a pretty scary ordeal, as we swerved and the driver could have pulled off a little earlier but road the rim fro at least a half a mile. He pulled over right on the shoulder and turned the motor off as he tried to change the tire. It was 100 degrees! We were literally melting! There were NO waters or ice inside the limo. It took the driver over an hour to change the tire. Then he got in the limo and informed us that he needed to go directly to a gas station to air up the spare because it was almost flat. In the meantime, we all tried to get ahold of Noe Ramirez, the owner, but again, his voicemail box was full. Finally, the driver got ahold of him and I spoke with him. He could tell I was very upset and I told him we just wanted to turn around and head back to our cars. He suggested we do that after the tire was aired up and also said, go ahead and stop for lunch. I know this was a special ocassion and I'm sorry it got ruined! So after driving to Comfort to air up the spare tire, we turned around and never saw a winery! We had the driver stop in Boerne for a quick lunch and glass of wine for the Birthday girl but that was it. We went back to our drop off destination at the RIM. We were back by 5pm. So We left at 1:00pm...We were on the side of the road until 2:20pm...We drove 8 mph to Comfort on a nearly flat spare tire which took almost an hour to get back to Boerne. That was around 3:10pm. We ate, and were back at the Rim by 5pm. I get ahold of Noe when we returned and told him how unhappy we all were and his reply to me was..."Well you weren't so unhappy you didn't stop for lunch and a glass of wine so Im not refunding you the full amount as I originally said!" First of all, he was an hour and half late! That should have been a full refund right there! His word means nothing and this is TOTAL DECEPTIVE TRADE! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SPECIAL EVENT! I asked him "what if this would have been for a wedding or prom, etc?" This is a very UNRELIABLE COMPANY! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS! THEY HAVE ZERO CLASS AND THEIR CARS AND DRIVERS ARE UNPREPARED AND UNFRIENDLY! (The driver never once opened our door) Noe Ramirez does not represent the Limousine Business well at all and is NOT a man of his Word. I've filed a complaint with the Attorney General as well. No matter the time of the day, a 3 am pick up to catch a 5 am flight or a late arrival into Austin due to flight delays I can depend on ACE to be there. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - My wife and I and 3 other adult couples had a wine tour booked for months. I confirmed everything a couple of weeks before and then the night before our tour was suppose to take place. Our tour was booked from 11 to 5 and we had pre-paid and everything was set up. Then at 10:30AM I received a call and said that due to car troubles they were going to be late and not be able to pick us up until 12:45 to 1PM. Disappointed but, with no other options, I said OK we will see you then. I called again at 12:30 to confirm they were coming. They said they were on their way but, it would be more like 1:15PM. Again, disappointed but, not other options and I said OK. 1:30PM came and went and no sign of them and no call. So, I started calling the driver and the office. Neither phone number would pick up after placing 4 to 5 calls each. I then called Limos.com to inform them. They called on my behalf. Limos.com got a hold of Ace and then called me back. Limos.com informed me that Ace was not going to be able to pick us up today and they would refund our money. I'm a patient and understanding person. My issue is not that they supposedly had a car issue. My issue is that I was told the day before our event and twice the day of our event that they were coming and everything was fine. Then almost 3 hours after our original start time I can not get a hold of them and they will not call me. They just left us hanging. If Limos.com had not gotten a hold of them I doubt they ever would have called. If they would have simply called us and been upfront....we would have had a chance to get another ride or at least start out earlier on our wine tour in our own cars. Instead we sat for hours waiting for them and they never showed up or even called. All they had to to was let us know. Just a phone call. First off the limousine was 30 minutes late for our noon pick up. We were going on a wine tour of Fredrickberg but because of his tardiness we had to switch to driftwood. On our second winery the driver had to go fuel up. We were in the winery for an hour and he wasn't there when we returned. He said he was cleaning the limousine which was exactly in the pristine condition we left it in. Overall the limousine was in poor condition and the driver was not accommodating. Ace Limo Services is not the place to get your transportation needs taken care of. I decided to use them for my wedding day. The owner explained that the limo was new, had a TV, and all the other glamorous things that go inside a limo. When the driver arrived, the seats were torn, the AC was out, the car was dirty and all the glasses were used and nasty. The driver was the only nice thing about this service and he tried to make things better. Kudos to JR!! Anyway, we go pick up another limo, filthy as well and also no AC. Rented for my dad birthday, they were suppose to be at our house at 12 for pick up called at 11:57 and they had forgot about us and said they had a new intern and she didn't schedule is, so they said they would give us an hour free and an upgraded limo. Well I wanted to rent a limo for my husbands 40th birthday and Ace Limousine's had the best prices. After I read the reviews I called the owner and spoke with him. He explained the incidents of the events that resulted in negative reviews for his service. All in all, our Limo showed up on time, our driver was courteous, our bar was stocked as I had requested and at the end of the night my family and friends were safely driven home after 4 hours of drinking out on the town. He took care of us, stopped at convient stores for us at our request, purchased our drinks so that we didn't have to get out and was never late picking us up from various places downtown. Interesting the review above had the same excuse we received from Ace Limo- wish I read that review before I booked my Christmas party with Ace. They called a few hours before the planned time to inform me they had a flat tire and arrived one hour late. This completely ruined the party, causing us to have to change our dinner location. In addition, the 14p limo is old, smells badly, had a crackling radio the entire time, and no GPS. We were forced to give directions to the driver like we were in a cab. I wish I had chosen a cab instead! I am embarrassed about this entire experience. read more

I give this 1 star because our driver was wonderful at picking wineries for us to go to in the Dripping Springs area. The reason I did not give it anymore because the company blatantly does not go out of their way to tell you when you need to leave to make sure you make it home within your rental time frame. Our driver explicitly stated they are told not to give any direction so they make more money. In addition, our last stop it was said we had 1 hr and 20 mins to enjoy before we head home. Not thinking we had to check traffic, we believed him and we got home a little passed our timeframe and he threatened to call the cops on us if we didn't pay home the extra hour and his tip! The owner also did not apologize for any miscommunication and stood by his driver and stated we were lying and there was nothing they could do. This place is broke d***. We hired them to take us to a concert last summer (July, hotter than Hades) and they showed up in a hoop-dee with no AC and even worse, the #)$*#$ windows did not work and could not be rolled down. Avoid. read more

This place is horrible! I rented a limo last May for my son's b-day party. The limo was late and when it did arrive, the A/C didn't work plus the windows would not roll down. It was a sauna. I called the owner and he wanted to send out a mechanic to look at it! Are you kidding me? We only had 2 hours for the party and spent the 1st 45 minutes in a parking lot while the mechanic supposedly fixed it. When he told me it was fixed, I checkd the A/c and it was still blowing out warm air. I called the owner again and told him I either wanted another limo or I'm canceling. He refused but said he'd only charge me for the 1st hour. I said NO WAY and disputed the charge with my bank. BEWARE read more

This company advertise as rthe only 5 styar liom company in Austin and yet it is not certified by the cityn of Austin and most of hios cars are not even insured. The owner is a crook and a con-man. who not only takes advantage of his clients but his drivers also. His cars are in pitiful conditiion. The owner should be banned from doing business in the Austin area. Even at the airport his drivers are not allowed to go through security and wait at the Shell station and wait for the client to call for pick-up because the owner is too cheap the obtain the airport sticker, which means he would have to pay the airport fee . He operates a totally illegal operation. Ace Limousine is to be avoided at all costs. read more

Horrible customer service from the very beginning! I had to call several times attempting to schedule the service, each time I called they said they would call back and never did. Then I had to call repeatedly to have the confirmation e-mailed. Another time, I called asking what the cost would be for a larger limo, again I was told they would check and call me back. You guessed it-no return call. Finally on the day of the service, I received a call at 7a.m. canceling the service due to the rain. It rained for a few hours at the most and was clear the rest of the day!! It wasn't until I told him, I would be getting a refund and making this review that he offered to keep the appointment or honor it on a Saturday. If you want an enjoyable evening spare yourself from booking this company!!! I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me comment otherwise. I had booked a wine tour for 12 lady friends well over one month in advance. I also booked early because he said it was prom night so we would be back by 4pm. Only one hour before the trip he left me a message to cancel. He claims the alternator went out. We asked if he could get another but he wouldn't return our calls! Horrible service!!! read more

If there were a rating of NO STARS---that would be my choice. Booked Sept 2016 for winery trip to Dripping Springs. Car they sent was NOT what we ordered! A 6 person rather than the 8 seats we required and paid for. One guest sat in the front with the driver and I had to sit on the floor in the back round trip. Car was beat up and not well-maintained. Seats ripped, AC water soaked the floorboard in the back (where I had to sit!). I was promised a "refund for the difference in what I paid and what we actually got" by the owner. Have been chasing him for a month now via email and phone messages. No reply and no refund. What a sleezy operation! I should have read the prior reviews first. Initially found them on Groupon but when I called to schedule, owner talked me into "getting the refund from Groupon and just pay him directly". That should have painted the picture for me ahead of time. All phone numbers on the website are "disconnected"--even in the other towns where services are offered. What a SCAM!! I'm writing contacting Groupon next. Ace Limo has obviously duped them as well. read more

I was on the wine tour with Jamie K. and it was the worst. Not much AC and we had a radio that did not work except for static. It was an older vehicle that was suppose to fit 14 and we had 10 people on the trip. I don't know where we could have fit 4 extra people if we needed to. I cannot believe the driver stole the cash from Jamie. Unbelievable! read more
