Typically I always go with another limo service but since it was a last minute thing I decided to book through Austin choice. Was quoted time between 9-9:15pm and if the driver could get there earlier he would give us a call. Driver arrived at 8:30pm with no call/heads up. The driver did not greet us until after 5minutes of us waiting outside of limo and had to wave him down. As we get into the limo we realize it was not cleaned from the previous party. Cups with beverages everywhere with lipstick stains on cups and no ice. Normally I'd be more understanding but during covid that was not acceptable. As we pull out of the neighborhood the driver ended up going the wrong direction and claimed the GPS was not working so I guided him. Upon arrival we ended up getting stuck at the entrance of hula hut on lake Austin but the driver was able to get out after 5 minutes. We had dinner and the driver asked us to meet him up the hill since we got stuck entering. As he was exiting he ends up getting stuck. We draw attention from people walking by and the owners of the restaurant so people offered to help push to get the limo through. The driver was on the phone (what I assumed was he was calling the limo company). Find out from Karen that it was not the case and this issue was not reported from the driver. Waited about 45 minutes outside in the cold with my family while the limo was trying to get out. Typically other limo services will call a nearby driver or just let us know to uber instead and refund you the hours. Not this company. There were people on the street, on top and inside the limo that were not part of our party trying to help get the limo out which was extremely kind but becomes a liability. We finally got out and the driver drove extremely fast to get us home, sped at least 20 over and took toll roads. My family was terrified during the ride home which made this a terrible experience. I did my part and reported the issue to the main office and spoke to Karen. I have not received a refund for that last wasted hour standing in the cold outside with my family or even a simple apology for the terrible experience. So if you're going to any of those restaurants, I do not recommend taking a limo into the parking lot. I also wouldn't recommend this limo service to anyone. We were simply trying to have a good experience as a family and were put in danger several times in just 3 hours. Update: spoke to Karen over the phone and she was very disrespectful. She said "you should have told the driver about the dirty cups." First of all, those cups should not have been there. I did inform the driver about the cups and nothing was done about it, thought it was pretty common to know limos are suppose to be cleaned out after each party but I guess not for this company. I mentioned I left this review and she quickly asked when and where I wrote it. Just save your time and money, book anywhere else and I'm sure you will have much better service and an overall experience. :) read more

I wish I could give the 0 stars!! Horrible customer service!! I was told on the phone 99$ for 4 hours cause I was planning a special day.. Then I was charged 480$ on my bank statement and had to call back and find out why. Long story short they don't say 99$ PER hour which would be more accurate when charging people's cards!! They man also have the audacity to call me and tell me my card declined and needed another one to hold my pickup! SCAMED out of money, and I didn't even get the ride yet! I have used them twice to get me to and from the airport. I have to say that it was the best decision ever. LOVED the driver!! He was so interesting and fun. The customer service is beyond measure. The best way to get to the airport for sure. A few days ago I contacted them with an urgent need. I was assisting a flood survivor (via the Austin Disaster Relief Network) that was stuck at a Drs. office without a ride back to his hotel. They told me they would discount the rate but later called me that night to say they were donating the transportation. I felt beyond blessed. I will be loyal to them forever!! read more

I recently got married and like a guy I forgot to rent a getaway vehicle for the night of my wife and I's wedding. I called and spoke to a saleswoman who was very professional and helpful and was able to help me reserve a black sedan. Fast forward to the next day at the end of our reception.... my buddy comes up to me a says "Hey your limo is here!". Come to find out I was upgraded to a limo as a gift. My wife and I were pumped and I was so impressed by this. Our drive was professional and the limo was clean and drinks were provided. A wonderful experience from beginning to end! We rented a sedan for our wedding, and the management and driver were very pleasant. that is.... until they billed us and extra $100. Straight to our credit card. This is what happened: During the wedding, some family members decided to decorate the car.... I know. we should pay for that. In fact, they did. They asked him how much it would cost to clean, and he said $40. They gave him $60. Next we got in the car, and my bride was asking me, not the driver, whether she should have her family drop some clothing off at the hotel from the house 10 blocks away from the venue. The driver chimed in helpfully suggesting he just take us by there. We said ok, and we made a 5 minute detour, as suggested by the driver. For all of this, they charged us an additional $100, on top of the $60 that was paid to the driver, on top of the original rental fee for a total of 12 minutes in the car. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell us. They just billed the card. Stay away from these guys. read more

We've taken a number of car/limo services around Austin and around the world. Austin Choice was subpar & here's why: our first leg of a round trip airport drop & pickup, it was raining and I had to ask our driver to come & help with our bags. Then he did not understand English very well so communications about the best route to get to airport in rain were completely lost. His driving was full on the gas then hard brake- at 8am, in the rain in traffic-- my stomach was in knots. Then our pick up from an international travel trip, we expected our driver to have a sign with our name on it, as advertised on their website. Nope. Also no confirmation email, call or text to reassure me we would have a driver there at all, and that's the last thing you want to worry about after multiple legs of travel. And, no bottled water in either vehicles we traveled in. Never experienced that. There are too many other car services out there- check someone else out, I know we will next time. read more

awesome limo service!!! and im super picky!!!! karen was so helpful and great. she called me back and worked with me on the planning that we needed. after to talking to over 10 companies who wouldnt work with me. it was a total A+ for customer service. she was beyond excellent. the limo driver was on time at each pickup and very nice through out. the car was so pretty, ipod connections and a full bar makes me want to call them just to ride around the city - beautiful limo. we will be calling them in the future for events. they make it very easy to have a perfect nite =) thank you so much, our halloween was beyond amazing! read more

I have rented limo's no less than 20 times and i have never seen anything remotely close to being in such poor condition as the one they sent me on 02/01/2019. Here is a list of problems: we upgraded from a stretched sedan @ $400 for 4 hours to a Hummer @ $700 for 4 hours and received a outdated Cadillac (they said i did not request a Hummer but according to their website, that is the only SUV they use), outside very dirty, right rear bumper wrecked, 2 feet of rubber window trim hanging right in front of the door we use( i repaired that), carpet full of dried grass, door panels falling off, headliner sagged with big holes where the A/C vents are supposed to be, tiny T.V. did not work, the wood grain railing or bar looking things where all broke and just laying in front of the windows that you can only see trough the top half because there is 1/4 inch of glue or silicone smeared across them, and best of all , 2 speakers right behind your head blast only static and you can not turn it off. Every second in that limo, there was static blasting out loud. we put less than 10 miles on it. I finally got a call from the owner or boss and after catching him in a lie a couple times i asked him what he thought was fair, he said he would refund me 20%, i declined that offer. Now here is how the call ended. He said he would refund 20% now and if i rent another limo he will give me 20% off that ride,,,then he said that makes him giving me a 40% refund. i said no, even if i did rent again with 20% off, it still is 20% off, he told me that i could not do simple math so i hung up. Excellent service offered by the chauffeur. He opened the door for us, had a sanitizer bottle inside, ice with drinks and water, immaculately clean from the in and out, and the ride was as smooth as it can get. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a limo. Thanks Choice! read more
