Good service aside from the time the clerk locked the doors to take a 15 minute shit.

Vin Scully might call Pat's "a modest thing, but thine own." Arguably the closest of many liquor stores to Dog Beach, Pat's is a cool little spot. What they lack in floor space they more than accommodate with charm and local pride, extended even to a SD pseudo-expat like me. Bottoms up.

I love that. It really is the perfect little shop with all the necessities. They have all the best snacks and Pinot Noir for $3.49 (cuz I'm classy like that). The staff are great and quick to get you in and out the door, which I appreciate. Pat's really does emulate a true convince store. It can't get much more convenient that Pat's!

We stumbled upon Abbott's thinking we were going to be in n out. But low and behold.... I'm in craft beer heaven! My brother got me into craft beers about a year ago and now I'm always on the hunt for some new sour beers. So since I'm new to the craft beer game I always like to ask others for advice. The guy Ivan who owns the place is super knowledgable. He asked me about beers I've liked and recommended a few suggestions (that turned out to be great!). I'm always around OB so I definitely will be back again to stock up! P.S. My husband and I were so enamored by the beers that we forgot the hot Cheetos! No worries we walked back and got them and my son was happy.

Like i said, selection is good but the interaction made me want to never come back again. Don't let anyone treat you like a joke. Good place to get your things but i put one star because you dont want someone to treat you like that. Don't judge a book by its cover, even when you have proof.

We ordered a BLT on sourdough with extra bacon. You gave us soggy French bread torpedo with lettuce and tomatoes, and something that wasn't even crispy bacon. It looked like bacon that had been soaked in water. It was pale white and simply nasty. I also ordered my go to sandwich for 30 years, a cable street sandwich with only 2 slices of squaw bread. You gave me 3 slices of bread and the middle slice was so soggy, drenched in mayo and I don't know what, yet the top and bottom pieces of bread were plain, completely dry. It only had 2 small pieces of Turkey on it, barely any avocado or bacon. I don't know who was making your sandwiches today. But shame on you it was disgusting. Thank God I ordered through Grubhub so I got my money back.I dont know if you even care that you just lost a customer of 30 years. I have to drive all the way from Mission Valley to come and get your sandwiches. And before it was worth it, but no longer. If I had opened the sandwiches before Igot home, I would've brought them back into your shop and asked what kind of crap it was that you were serving. Shame on you.
