The retro chic of the Flamingo guestroom was cute and kitschy - an old half-sized fridge/freezer unit from the 50s, and a tea kettle and French press to make my coffee in the morning were nice touches. The chairs outside the rooms are very old and feel like they're going to collapse then you sit in them. The lady working the reception desk was as nice as can be. Amenities include free WiFi, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, flat screen TV with satellite, and bath products. There is also a charming outdoor seating area with a large grill for guest use as well as chairs and tables outside of the rooms. The real fun, however, is Penny! Penny is Hans' adorable gentle giant of a dog, who will lovingly greet you at check-in and around the grounds!
