I was under the (incorrect) impression that you needed a wholesaler's or restauranteur's license to purchase things here - not so. They also have chest freezers, gas stoves, even popcorn machines! Found a higher quality baking pan than at your typical big box store, as well as a specific kind of tongs I was looking for - something with silicone tips that can pick up ramekins. Went in there- found a few pieces I wanted but another was out of stock. Lisa, one of the associates, was so friendly and quick to help me out. She told me when they'd get one in, said she'd hold it for me, and recommended which day to pick up to take advantage of an upcoming sale! Very cool. Huge selection- really helpful staff. I purchased a $2,800 refrigerator for my company from AceMart about a year and a half ago. I am now having problems with it for the second time. When you call AceMart about having someone come out to service it, they immediately refer you to an outside company that is equally of no help whatsoever. This is a fun store to browse if you need supplies for kitchen, bathroom, and/or office. The products are excellent quality to hold up to use, hence the name restaurant supply. I purchased baking sheets for cookies 10 years ago and they are still in great shape. The price were cheaper than Walmart. I still have my tempered glass drinking cups. On my second box because I keep dropping them. Most of them don't break when dropped, but the glass after years of use get a cloudy film inside. Great selection of pans, knives, cutting boards, to go containers. Pretty much anything you need for the kitchen. The employees are so helpful. I was looking for papertowel rolls from my automatic dispenser. They did not have the items, but the young man behind the counter gave me a list of recommended local suppliers that might have the item. That was so kind of them. read more

I was throwing my annual Holiday shindig, and I needed some serious kitchen horsepower. Hey, I made 42 DOZEN tamales one day - when I cook I get serious! That means restaurant supply. The folks at Ace recognized me as just a guy and not a business. They greeted me, asked if I needed help, and then left me alone to wander the place. I like that. See to my needs then leave me alone. When I had a question the folks were easy to find and friendly. Two chafing dishes, cups, to go cups, foil, sterno and a trunk full of assorted other stuff loaded into the basket and we were good to go. They even offered to take it to my car for me. (Although the lady admitted it is because if they don't bring the baskets right back in the store they tend to get "repurposed" by folks around there - I thought that was really funny) Not the best neighborhood, but the people inside are great. If you are looking for kitchen gadgets go here first. It isn't always as ruby red or cobalt blue as you could find somewhere else, but if you are looking for extremely functional, well priced, and good support staff Ace is it. read more

For Christmas this year my coworkers are getting homemeade Kahlua, Limoncello, or Limecello. Of course, I have a whole lot of co-workers so everyone is not getting big bottles! What to do? Go to Ace Mart! As soon as I walked in the door the cashier at the front asked how I was doing and could she help me find anything. I told her what I was looking for and she steared me towards the salsa bottles. I picked up a couple of cases and proceeded to walk around the store. This place has everything you would need for your kitchen....and then some! When I have more time I'm going back just to look at all the cool stuff. Every employee I encountered was so friendly and helpful! Great place. I picked up 5oz bottles for $12 for a case of 12. I bought two! So, truth be told we came in here for the small cups to make Jello Shots!!!! I know, I know my college days are way over but, my neighbor was having a birthday party for someone who was turning 21! The store is very spacious and it seems like they could definitely carry more merchandise as half of their floor space is unused! They have 3 registers but, there was not a line by any means. I don't have a whole lot to say about this place, only having popped in to pick up 1,5 oz souffle cups for Jello shots, But I was struck immediately as I walked in by the cleanliness, and sense of order and organization of this place. In California, I used to go to Smart & Final, which I always thought one day I'd actually get smart, and make it my final visit there. Ace Mart, after I spent two minutes here, completely blows away Smart & Final. I went to this location today and could not have been happier. I found some bowls I wanted on the website and it indicated that they had some at this location. While we shopped we had several questions...we never had to go look for someone to answer our questions since we were approached more than once by courteous employees who not only answered our questions but took the time to walk us over to what we were looking for.
