I was very happy shipping my items from this location to my home in Pennsylvania. The staff was very friendly and remembered my name the second time I came in to do business. This place is ONLY good for if you have your own labels. If they make one for you just goto the other guys cuz here they tried to charge me 92$ to ship something went to Fed-Ups and it was only 27$. I wish I read the reviews before going there. Looks like they don't have ethic at all. They over charged me double the stamp they put for USPS. My package was returned and ruined. Luckily I had the receipt, but the manager blamed USPS for wanting more postage and refused to give me a refund. Not to mention the value of my package... I left because there were people waiting I line, she was the only staff at that time. Arguing with her seems meaningless. She agreed to refund my package envelope and that's it. read more

I called ahead to ask about the notary charge and if they were busy. The lady who runs the place told me to come on in. I walked in and she was there at the counter ready to take care of me. They request that you pay for purchases under $5 with cash instead of credit. Totally understandable. My total was $6 for a single signature notary. I paid in cash to keep their costs down. This place is super conveniently located by Starbucks and HEB. They have greeting cards. Mail boxes to rent and computers and fax machines to use. Their prices are super reasonable and you can avoid the long lines and rudeness at the post office. Parking is tight depending on the time of day. The lady that is always here must be the owner. She is nice and even has a bunch of kid toys in the store, not sure if they are for her kid or to keep your kiddos busy while you take care of your office business. I don't have a lot of office stuff at home and my bank is not local so I come here for notary duties and to mail packages. read more

Of course the carrier broke them, and it's a big hassle to get them to honor the commitment of returning your spend for the shipping and the items. Very disappointed in the service. Don't come to this place. Stopped by on July 19th to ship some shoes. July 30th today and my shoes are 5 states away from where they need to be in California. For some reason, my shoes were shipped to Iowa and it took 7-10 days for that to happen. Called up the lady that runs Post Net, Hatel, and asked if I could be refunded the price of the shipping cost, and she said that even if the shoes were lost, I would be reimbursed nothing from her. Claimed that the shoes would be in California like they intended to be in "4 days" somehow. When they took 10 days to ship to Iowa from Texas. Ridiculous service, disrespectful tone on the phone, waste of time middle man company. (Obviously not intelligent enough to put an item into ship) Just go to the USPS or FEDEX. I visited this store on Monday, to ship a 5 lb bag of dog food I had purchased in the same shopping center. The woman working there asked what zip code I was shipping to and in no time at all, told me that from the store to Arlington TX would be $35. This did not include a box. Needless to say, I left. I went to a post office near me on Hwy 620 and shipped the same bag of food, for $14, including box...and it arrived 2 days later. The people here are crooks and if they think I would ever step into their store again, are totally out of their minds. read more

Been sitting out front your shop for 20 minutes and no one has showed up to open your door. The door is clearly marked 9 AM - 6 PM. If you state you are open at 9, then open at 9. I have seen no fewer than four people try your door and then walk away. That's terrible business. Yet here I am still waiting with a two year old in the car just to drop off a package and you show no signs of opening. I refuse to come back and spend a dime at this place. This is the fourth time I've come by to use this location and they were not open on time at 9 a.m. All four times I had to wait till between 9:30 and 10 for the owner to show up. I highly recommend people who need professional UPS or FedEx service to go somewhere else. read more

I've been here a few times and the girl helping me is always in a bad mood or else she hates me. I can't decide. I went the other day to get my 10 month old's passport pictures taken and we were there for an hour and 1/2. She was not helpful at all! I had to hold the baby so that she wouldn't fall off the chair. I told the lady to make some sort of sound or SOMETHING so the baby would look at her but she wouldn't do anything. She just sat there with the camera and would click randomly and then not say anything. I would have to ask if it turned out or not. SO WEIRD. Then she kept leaving to assist other people. I kept thinking, "Are you kidding me? I just want one picture and I want to get out of here!" read more

I've been using this location for my PO Box for several years. I have moved to south Austin but keep my PO Box at this location due to the awesome customer service. I have been consistently impressed with the staff at this Post Net. They are friendly and professional and always pleasant. They know me when I walk in the door (I love that)! As a home-based business owner, I appreciate the opportunity to protect my privacy and home address by using Post Net. I wish this place was closer to me lol the only thing I would suggest is that you offer money orders then you are winning!!! I have been looking for a notary so I can send a letter off back home in Chicago (lets just say I've been a bad girl lol)... Anyway I could never find a notary that was open on a weekend and the ones I found wanted to charge me 40.00 and up for a notarized document. Um heck no....I refuse to pay that much for a stamp LBVFS... So I googled for weeks and I guess with my iPhone update, the search results were better because this place came up. Anyway while running errands sunday my other half and I stopped here 3 minutes before closing and it was a saturday. The lady was so super friendly and she didn't have an attitude even though it was so close to closing. So she notarized my document and I asked was there a Home Depot nearby because I needed to make a key and she told me she makes keys and she could mail my letter off. Omggg and I was gonna mail cash because she didn't make money orders but she said she would stay open late so I could go to HEB and get a money order because she didnt want me mailing cash! Talk about nice! I really really like it here and I send referrals to my neighbors!! I wish you guys were open on Sundays thats the only bad thing I have to say! Superb customer service!!! read more

I went in to quickly mail a small one pound box to Arizona. Kind lady working there greeted me with a smile and told me it would cost $13.00. I smiled and said, "No, I don't need it there quickly. What's a cheaper way?" She said that is the cheapest. She clicked through her screens and gave me prices $13 - $38. I said," Are you serious for this?" She kindly said "Yes, Ma'am." I handed over my CC and left feeling screwed. What crooks!! It took about 3 minutes to allow me to look up USPS Priority WITH a BOX would cost $5.80 and 2 day Fed Ex is $8.37. My mistake for not doing my homework, but that's ridiculous. Thinking back a few years ago, I stopped there for holiday stamps and they had a HUGE upcharge. I understand paying a premium for a convenient location, but hope they enjoyed the steak dinner I got them today. NEVER EVER AGAIN... read more

I've been multiple times AFTER 9AM only to find a locked door - closed store. And the charges for mailing packages is exorbitant. I mean - ALOT. But it's been great for me when I need something notarized quickly and it's by far the closest place around to drop UPS packages for returns. read more

I have rented a mailbox at this location for 9 years and have nothing but good things to say about this PostNet, Sylvia and Hetal. They have always been extremely helpful and very nice to all customers. They know their customers and many customers know them. I have seen many customers go in, call them by name then talk about business or family. They take time to learn their customers; I go in to pickup a package and they immediately are getting it because they made the decision to learn customers names. This quickly started in the first year. They offer many services that businesses of this type do not offer which is another reason I like them. I can go in and use a computer to print a necessary item when I am away from home. I went into a different PostNet and two other like businesses but none of them offered this service. I do not know about the store being opened on time as I am usually there in the afternoon. Sylvia is a quiet person and very matter of fact, but she would never be rude to anyone. She goes out of her way to help customers. I guess some could take this as being rude but it is not an accurate observation. One has to bear in mind this is NOT the post office or UPS or FedEx. It is a business to help the public with ease of sending packages. Like any business, they are there to make money. One should expect to pay for the convenience. I can take an item to them, give them the mailing address and tell them how I want it sent. They will package the item up, mail it then send me an email with the details. This does cost more than it would at the post office but I want the convenience so I am willing to pay for it. I do not have a lot of money nor do I send a lot of packages. But, I find their services are well worth the money. I recently moved. I took many personal documents to them to be shredded; this was much easier than shredding them myself not to mention a time saver. It was another convenient service they offer. No doubt, when I have a package to send, I will take it to this PostNet everytime. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. I deal with printers regularly. My colleague has used Postnet on Far West for our newsletters before and has been pleased (great management, quick, helpful, courteous and very reasonable). While I know PostNet is a franchise, and all managed independently of one another, I also know that there are franchise guidelines that need to be adhered to, so imagine how pleased I was to find one in Leander so close!! WOW, what a difference a few miles make. After my experience yesterday, 12/20, I read the reviews - and wasn't surprised at all that they only had 2 stars (really was surprised they had 2) I have to say ALL of them touched on every issue I have with the people at this Postnet. Rude, not efficient, poor quality work, insane pricing, ZERO customer service. When I first called to see if they got my print job, the guy almost seemed like I was bothering him and said that Monday was their busiest day of the year and they could try to get the print job out by Wednesday. Mind you I only had 7 black and white newsletters with a black cardstock (or heavier paper - whichever made sense) and 20 color prints on heavy paper, and they would TRY to get it done in 48 hours (should have been my first clue). I sent in my print job, complete with pictures of how the newsletter should look, requesting the cover be cardstock, then chatted on the phone with Alan, reiterated the cover was cardstock, he mentioned that my cover would have a border, because they wouldn't be able to print the full page because they were soooo busy and didn't have time to do it without a border, blah blah blah. I was in a time crunch and said that was fine as long as I could get it by Wed around 1. When Alan quoted $90 initially, I was thinking man that seems a bit high but again in a time crunch. The following day my colleague sent me his receipt for the previous work at the other Postnet it was $31 for 10 newsletters, and it was broken out by color copies, covers, stapling, etc. like every other printer I have EVER done business with. I called and gave them my card for payment, but also asked for an itemized list of the job. She said she would ask for the itemized list and then promptly ran my card. Later when I asked where the breakdown was, the girl I spoke with, almost patronizingly said "he said there is no breakdown it's just a flat fee." Huh? That doesn't make any sense at all. When I shared with her our past experience with the other Postnet, and said I can even show him the quote, she said "he doesn't need to see it because it won't matter, the fee is what it is". WOW! Wednesday when I arrived, the girl picked up the package and just handed it to me, didn't say a word, didn't open it to make sure it was up to my liking NOTHING. When I took them out the covers were not cardstock and the back of the newsletter was not black. When I reiterated AGAIN, what my email said AND what our conversation on the phone was, AND showed him the quote from the other Postnet, and asked for a reduction, since what I was getting and what I requested were 2 different things, his comment was, I'm sorry there was a "miscommunication, but I won't be bullied" into giving you a reduction. WHAT!? So his "pride" wasn't about to let him give, what should easily have been, an opportunity to make the customer happy and hopefully get some return business. Do NOT take anything to these people (and it sounds like they can't even get the shipping part right either) - they have no idea what they are doing and have no business being in a customer facing position. I'm also going to write to the "corporate" office of Postnet, we shall see what their stance is on how their franchisee's manage their businesses. read more
