Shawn, the general manager at the time, assisted with that process and I'm grateful for his help. Unfortunately, the second incident has been nothing but deflection, denial, and frankly--disrespect. After the most recent damage, I submitted photos, repair estimates, and every piece of documentation their upper management requested--including trade-in paperwork after the truck was sold. Instead of taking accountability, TimberTown leadership accused both me and a third party (Covert, the dealership I traded the truck to) of fraud, simply because I followed through on what they originally asked me to do. Most offensively, they accused the sales manager at Covert--someone I've never even met or spoken to--of helping me fabricate paperwork. This person was simply trying to help me provide TimberTown the documents they requested. I've been trying to get this resolved since Fall 2023. This morning, I emailed Josh Clinksales, TimberTown's CFO per his email signature, to request that all further communication take place via email or text, as I was tired of phone calls where I was repeatedly accused of fraud. Minutes later, Josh called me directly and said: "Christian, I've talked to upper management. Do whatever you have to do. We're not going to fix or pay anything." That was the final word. This is not a miscommunication. This is a company choosing to ignore clear evidence and deny accountability, even after a repeated history of damage. I've spent thousands of dollars at this store--more than what I'm even requesting. I took a loss when I traded in that damaged vehicle because TimberTown refused to do the right thing, and I was left to cover the cost out of pocket. Their headquarters representative said I don't have to return the cap on their damaged tote but I was livid. These unapologetic and unconscientious people in dripping springs are terrible. Once the rest of the space came together, it was clear the chrome felt out of place. The new gold faucets align beautifully with the overall design and add warmth and elegance to the room. They tie everything together in a way the chrome simply couldn't. What felt like a small change ended up making a big visual impact, elevating the finished space and giving it a more cohesive, intentional look. I also spoke with Kelly the day before by phone--both extremely pleasant to work with. Their computer system is not tied into their floor inventory, and apparently hard for even their staff to navigate, making identification of available stock on floor challenging without eyes on. Their desk phones are not wireless, so checking on an item on the floor means holding or calling back from cellular. This is a small, family-owned business. Now that Harway is no longer family owned and a part of the Ferguson brand, the choices for shopping local are dwindling. But don't let family-owned mean expensive. They price match with big box and offer much better service to compete strongly. Although I did not buy that day, I have them in mind for a couple of items. Recommended. Five stars.

Apparently he couldn't be bothered to read two whole sentences of email and only read the one half of the word "hardie" and I was supposed to understand that he had disregarded the rest of it. Listen: Maybe if you are a builder or something that is going to buy 2000 board feet they will give you the time of day. But even then I wouldn't want to support their dishonesty.
