What a disaster. First day of a two day pack and load, no call / no show. I call them after the window they're supposed to arrive and get a story about how they double booked and didn't have a crew. How am I just hearing this the day of the move? Second day, no driver, 6 guys show up. One of the six was great, the others, we're seeing just threw everything into wardrobe boxes and closed it up. I asked Ace for some boxes to take with me to start packing. I was told by the driver that that should not have been allowed since this was a relocation package (via Alexander's Moving). We spoke with the driver, who was extremely professional and not related to Ace, and he said there should've been no packing without him present and he had to repack. Additionally, I had to push the issue on a rapid walkaround because the guys wanted to go home. Lo and behold today we find a table leaf has been left behind. Also had to call them back out for two boxes of items that were not loaded up. Now two weeks later we're finishing the unpacking. Many items destroyed, including things that cannot be replaced. Some others like a glass tabletop, a mirror, items from our wedding, all destroyed. The non-Ace affiliated driver apologized profusely, but I realized there's nothing he could have done. This facility is beyond unprofessional. I don't know who all the people are giving good reviews. Maybe they're on the payroll. I don't know how a company that functions this way is still in business. read more

I am moving from Minnesota to Texas and ACE Moving and Storage was set up to move our things. I was contacted by the driver, William Gaceta prior to move day just to let me know his expected time of arrival. We did a quick secondary survey over the phone so he could get a mental picture of what he was walking into. He arrived on move day, early, which I very much appreciated and went to work. He was meticulous in packing our items, especially those that we were concerned with. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. Travis's crew did Great! Great service and polite. They are on time efficient and will get the equipment moved no problem.

This is not a company you want to deal with! They broke two TVs, two expensive lamps and a very expensive stone table. We even paid extra to have the stone table top placed in a special built crate. The total cost to replace these items is over $10,000. They paid NOTHING because we did not file a claim timely. We informed them timely, but did not file their "claim form". We moved 15 miles and they broke all this. We had to take them to court to try and resolve but the judge ruled we should have filed the claim. They are horrible to work with and I suggest you never use them unless you want broken items! This is negligence pure and simple! read more

This has been an awful experience. They jacked up the price to nearly double the estimate, didn't send enough movers to complete the job as promised. They damaged several pieces of furniture and many boxes of possessions, as well as the floors and walls of my brand new house. I cannot get the manager on the phone or via email. My damage claim has gone without response for over 30 days, despite several calls and emails. read more

Evan and Lyle helped move my stuff in and they were more than helpful with the process. They Called 30 mins prior and had no issue taking it up the stairs (despite some of the stuff being pretty heavy). I'd definitely recommend them again for a local move. read more

Everything made from the old house to the new house in perfect condition and they even disassembled and reassembled the furniture as needed. The quote that I was given was right on so surprise cost. The delivery was recorded at 10/26 from the company I made the purchase from. I was told it delivered to my home, yet when I called Ace Moving and Storage they confirmed they still have my package and the incredibly rude "supervisor" stated "she didn't care". Below follows the open-ended feedback I sent Atlas Relocation Services (who contract Ace Moving) regarding my move to Oklahoma. TL;DR version: If you're in need of a professional moving service, may I suggest looking to another company. My understanding is that a relocation service needs to do two things: logistics and geography. By carefully organizing individuals and services based on time allotments and scheduling demands, they are able to help individuals move from one point to another in a timely fashion. My experience with Atlas demonstrated its inability to do either of these things, specifically with my Atlas Agent, "Ginny" out of Oklahoma City. From our first phone contact, Ginny was aloof, impersonal, and ignorant. When asking where I was relocating from, I replied, "Lansing, MI." She then asked, "Is that near a large city?" While I realize out-of-state agents are not familiar with every city in the US, it was an omen when Ginny did not know a state capital. As the move progressed, customer service got worse. Ginny did not return several phone calls or emails to confirm a specific moving date. After repeated requests, she finally replied via email with a retransmission of my estimate, taking us back several steps in the process and not addressing my question.This became a common practice in my moving experience with Atlas, as I quickly realized that I needed to proactively approach Ginny at every step, as she seemed incapable of follow-up on several tasks, including informing me of my move date once it had been scheduled and communicating what the moving process would entail (I'd informed her early this was my first professional relocation experience.). Once arriving to my destination, I had been told/quoted/reassured that my drop-off date would be between the 8th and 15th of the month. Given Ginny's previous oversights, on the 12th (Friday) I called, just to confirm that my house would be arriving on the 15th as scheduled. Ginny told me via phone that my drop-off date of before the 25th would be met. Apparently, logistic problems on behalf of her and Atlas had pushed back my dropoff date by almost two weeks, but Ginny had failed to inform me of this change. Moreover, a dropoff date of the 25th (Ginny made it clear a dropoff between the 16th and 22 was unlikely) was beyond the scope of our contract, and represented a severe impediment to my starting a new job on the 22nd. While apologetic for what she admitted was her fault due to lack of communication and scheduling, she offered no suggestions or resolutions to the situation Atlas had created. It was only after driving up to the Atlas offices in Oklahoma City and literally waiting in their lobby that this severe problem and breach of contract was addressed. The GM was finally called in (After several attempts by Ginny to have me go home and wait to hear from her as she worked on the problem she already assured me had no solution) and went through Herculean steps of calling national dispatchers and favors from other Atlas affiliates to have my shipment specially picked up and delivered to my house on the 16th. While I received great service from the individuals picking up and dropping off my home, the logistical nightmare and tragedy that was Atlas' customer service was abominable and inexcusable. Specifically because of your representative, I will never again even consider using Atlas Relocation Services. Rather, I will seek out a relocation service with an Excel spreadsheet and a globe who may more competently help me schedule a move from point A to point B. read more

I can't thank Ace Moving and Storage enough for the move of my father's belongings from Oklahoma to Virginia. Great job, Chris and everyone at Ace. Phillip is a master packer, and he and Corey make a great team. They exhibited complete professionalism in all aspects; I could not have asked for a better team for this job. This company moved us within Edmond in October 2017. Our complaint is that wie had serious damage to many pieces of furniture: a chair was completely broken with entire back broken in 8 different pieces, a chair brace broken completely in half, wooden table leaves bent where they are no longer usable, knobs to chest of drawers bent and hanging where they all had to be replaced, entertainment center leg completely broken off and china plates and saucers broken. We followed their instructions to complete and mail claim form and even sent pictures within the 30 day required window. We called Atlas to let them know we would be sending a claim form and verified instructions. Moreover the contractor for the company that was in charge of the move even took pictures of the damage on the day of the move. When we called to inquire about the status of our claim we were treated rudely twice and were finally told they never received our claim form. They use all contract labor for their moves. Perhaps this is the reason for such unacceptable service. read more

DO NOT USE this company unless you enjoy paying more than your quoted price and not having the job, that you are paying for, completed as agreed upon. All of the people working for this company that I talked to were friendly and seemed like they knew what they were doing. However the guy that came to the house to do the quote was told specifically that everything in a certain room, including a couch and loveseat, was going upstairs at a new house. He never raised any concerns about it. When moving day came, the movers would not move the couch and loveseat upstairs. Then my price ended up being a lot higher than the quoted price, I can understand that it is a quote and may not be 100% accurate, but this was a significant difference. Had I been quoted a price closer to what I ended up paying, I would have used a different company. To top it off, after speaking with the relocation coordinator to resolve the furniture issue, I was told that the only thing they could do would be to send a crew out to disassemble the couch and loveseat, move them upstairs and reassemble. Of course this would be another charge on top of the higher price I already paid, no thanks. Do yourself a favor and find a different moving company. read more

Whoever makes the schedule for the drivers is an incompetent idiot who clearly doesn't understand efficient time management. I was supposed to receive a king sized bed delivery and needed to be home from the hours of 1-5pm. I called the office at 430pm because I still hadn't heard a peep from anyone. I was assured the driver would call me soon. Come now to 8pm and finally I get a phone call from the driver's partner saying that the driver had to get home to his family because it was late. No shiz sherlock. As a side note, this occurred on Valentine's Day for which I had to cancel dinner reservations with my husband to wait around for literally nothing. The driver offered to deliver it the following morning (of which I could not be home because I work full time and had already arranged to be home for said no show delivery). So now, I hope my expensive bed doesn't get stolen from my porch as it will have to be left unattended. And I'll be left with the task of dragging the heavy bed inside the house when I'm 5 months pregnant. Worst organization of a moving company ever. Do not waste your time. read more

Do not EVER use this company. About 3 weeks ago, we moved a from a storage unit to our new house. We packed and moved everything to the storage unit ourselves, and everything was accounted for when it went to the storage unit. We hired movers to move everything into the new house, which was only 3 miles down the road. They packed everything into 2 trucks, then took a break for lunch and took everything with them. When they arrived at the new house with both trucks, instead of 4 men returning, only 3 did. They said "he walked off the job when we stopped for drinks." They started unpacking the trucks, and at first, everything was going to the correct room. Slowly, everything was being piled into the corner of our garage, making it impossible to know where things had gone. I noticed that the three bags of clothing my daughter had packed and brought to the storage unit were missing the day of. We couldn't be certain if they were just in the garage or not, because everything had been crammed in. We finally went through everything in the garage about 2 weeks ago and when we didn't find any of her clothes, we filed a claim with the company for $500. After waiting about 2 weeks for them to call about the claim, we called again, and were then informed that the person who deals with claims was on vacation. About 4 days later, we received a phone call about the claim, at which point the woman offered us $24, based on what she read. The only "suggestion" the woman had was that we should have bought additional valuation, at which point we asked "why should we have to purchase anything to insure that our belongings arrived in full?" She stated that she spoke with the crew from our move, who denied everything we had claimed, but of course had not spoke with the man who had walked off, and then said that they always check the trucks for any loose items. Why would they admit to anything that might cause them to lose their jobs? Why would they leave anything on the truck? We are not expecting to see any of her clothing again, but we were expecting that the company take responsibility. If I had anything further to add, I would say that we would not have been suspicious if I had not seen all three bags of my daughter's clothing loaded onto the truck and never saw them unloaded, and if it had not been ALL of the clothing that she owns. All of this leads me to believe that this company stole our belongings, and now is refusing to take responsibility for this. read more
