Overall solid. We ordered on a Saturday night and waited about 30 min for our food to be ready. Unfortunately we received a text that it was ready, but when we went in they told us it wasn't yet. The buffalo wings were cold but the fries and the garlic parm wings were warm. I would go back to try other flavors but would hope the food wouldn't be cold this time! Went to the location on 7th Ave and southern and the French fries were stale and wings tasted old!!! Tried to review on the ace of wings page and they deleted and blocked me instead of taking care of the actual trouble they are having. It would have been nice to get an apology or acknowledgment! I love how we're only in September but they already have the Halloween decor up, haha! My fiancé has been raving about this place for some time so we decided to visit. I had to do a review because , it's not bad more of constructive criticism. I had the spade fries a while back from a co worker . I don't know if it's a difference in the location . Because today I went to the one on northern &19th ave . I don't know where my coworker got his from a while back but his were actually good . Mines not so much they were cold . The wings are very good. They are different flavor than what we are used to for typical wings. I love the hot strawberry. My husband loves the traditional buffalo as well as the garlic my favorite fries. Are the Ace fries they are amazing. We went on a Friday night around 10 pm and it busy but we got our order pretty fast. The wings were really good, with a perfect balance of flavor and crispiness. They are generous with the ranch sauce and it's not regular ranch either. This one got some crack in it guarantee. The service was nice and the cashier made sure we had everything we needed. I'm not a Wings person at all. I've seen this place when I've gone to Bookmans since they are in the same strip mall. It's not a place I would normally go to eat. Fast forward a few weeks back I took my friend to The Mailing Store next door. I noticed that there was a line outside this restaurant before it opened so that caught our attention. I assume they were having a job hiring thing since people had papers in their hand. My friend was curious and walked over to somebody who was waiting in their car to ask. Strange coincidence, as life sometimes happens, it was someone I knew. The folks I help with their nonprofit charity . We started chatting and they told us the owner Periodically gives out free food to help people in the community. Not scheduled something he does and advertises online every now and again. I'm really not a wing eater but my friend convinced me to go in and get some. I think the first 30 people get freebies. So I went in and got some. They have lots of different unique flavors. You can't really ask on the freebies so I just let them give me what they gave me and took them home. I was presently surprised how much I liked them. tried this place out since its close and we love wings. the food was great and couldn't wait to go back. the three stars is because even though the food was good (not great this time because it was cold) the service could be better. I was putting in an order and asked my wife to pick it up on her way home from work, she works in Mesa so It should have been ready when she got there. the online time said it would be done at 6:25, she didn't leave there till almost 7. the first time she asked at 6:25 the counter lady gave her three min left till it was ready. The second time she asked after 10 min, the counter lady asked the cooks who was working on my order. she didn't get out of there till 6:55! And thats after putting in an online order. The food was cold, my wife was pissed, especially after people who were walk-in orders got their food before we did and didn't even get an apology, nothing! I want to give a better review but not with this service, when I called to complain it wasn't even the number to the location we ordered from. The Hype is definitely real here! I've been wanting to try here for some time and I can definitely understand the hype. Overall my food was good but for me the fries and Mac and cheese stole the show. Both were so good I kept going back in for it, just wow! The wing flavors for me were kind of a miss. I've been coming here for a couple months now and the food is genuinely great, especially the Hot Honey Ranch Munchy Platter. I first tried this place through DoorDash, liked it so much that I started ordering directly through their app, and I've placed several pickup orders since. Just recently, though, I noticed some things that took me by surprise. When ordering pickup through their app, there's a $1.99 service fee but it only shows up at the very last step before you submit the order. On the website, there's a $2.75 Rapid Checkout Fee instead. I understand that fees exist, but clear upfront disclosure is important. Showing it only at the end feels unintentionally deceptive. There's also a $4.99 up-charge for all flats, which is extremely high compared to other places. After looking into it, most restaurants charge around $0.50 to $2.00 for all flats. So $4.99 really stands out. Another thing I noticed: the "$13.99 sale" 6-piece comes out to $17.25 on the app after fees and tax and that's without the $4.99 flats upcharge. Meanwhile, I ordered an 8-piece on DoorDash for around $26 with delivery and tip included. The gap between delivery and pickup should be bigger, so the sale pricing doesn't feel as meaningful once the fees are added. I still love the food and the family that runs this place as well as the staff (they're great); they work hard and clearly care about their customers (they even gave away 300 lbs of wings recently, which is amazing). I just hope they take a look at how these fees and up-charges are presented, because it makes me think twice before ordering the way I used to. read more

When I arrived day of, the front counter lady couldn't find the order on the computer and had to write down what I got so that they could get started on it. THAT is where the money went towards? Awful service ruins everything. Not coming back here. My girlfriend and I decided to DoorDash some food again this weekend and we were browsing my saved stores, and this place came up and I've been interested in what they had to offer for some time now. We decided to give it a shot and we were pretty happy we did! I ordered the High roller platter and she ordered the Garlic butter parm wings along with the funnel cake fries. We received the food, but not much else came with it; no utensils, no napkins, no ranch/ side dipping sauces. I can look past the no sauces as we did DoorDash it and there were no options available to select any with the order/ I've got plenty of ranch at the crib, but skimping us on napkins and silverware when we ordered wings, which are messy by nature, is just uncouth of a food business. That said, I did have silverware and paper towels to remedy this, but it is generally preferred that the place selling you food has your back with this sort of thing. I'm sure they've got plenty to give away to their in person customers, so I don't see what the hold up was for including some in with our order as well. I found the high roller platter to be absolutely delicious with tons of flavor in every bite, and it had a bit of spice to it. It is a heavy portion of food for one person but I still devoured it as it was the only thing I had eaten yet that day and I would gladly do it again, if I were going to have eaten anything that day I would've picked this place out and ordered that item every time. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy and yummy, and though I did not try my lady's wings, I did eat a few of the funnel cake fries. They were pretty tasty and still pretty warm by the time we got around to them, which I will say it did take about 30-40 minutes for our order to arrive but it was well worth the hype. I used to work at a theater that served funnel cake fries, and these were a bit better than those were, except that the theater I worked at served them with chocolate sauce on the side, which I wish that this place would've done too. Overall, I would consider Doordashing this place again as the food was very good, and though I cannot speak to the cleanliness/interior of the facility, I would say that we liked this place. If I had any feedback for the owners/management of Ace of Wingz, it would be to ensure that all orders, regardless of whether it be a DoorDash or someone coming into the restaurant to eat, get napkins and silverware with their food, and that they add an option to get some sauces on the side on their DoorDash menu. The food definitely made it worthwhile, but little things like this will deter a business of their potential repeat customers. Just my 2 cents but I'm sure I'll order here again in the future, they've got an insane variety of wing flavors and much unmarked territory on its menu for us to try! read more

I got two combos with two flavors each & was happy with all 4 flavors that I was able to try. I can honestly say that the lemon pepper ranch wings had to be my top favorite with buffalo ranch coming second. I could not get enough of both of those. All the flavors are spot on with the taste and the wings are a good quality, Also make sure you get their fries, my favorite was the buffalo ranch ones, another one you can't go wrong with. I also tried the Elote fries which tasted exactly like an elote They also serve kool aids which are a hit & sometimes they have cheesecake , def recommend getting a cheesecake for dessert! Genuinely my favorite wing shop to go to, the food is incredible and they don't cheat you on anything. The service is subpar depending on who is at the front, nobody is ever rude, but they may act like you don't exist. The ambience is lack luster but it's food that's meant to be taken to go, they have a seating area for you to wait at for your food and that's basically it. My biggest issue here is how long the food takes, to me it's good enough to wait for it, but in reality 45+ minutes on 12 boneless wings is pretty ridiculous, I understand food takes time, but I've had to wait an hour and 10mins to get my 12 boneless wings with some french fries.
