I had been stalking their social media for quite some time but it never seemed to line up with being able to visit their food truck but I had some xtra time during lunch to make it out to their store location. The girl at the register was friendly and I was already familiar with their menu so I knew what I wanted to try. The seating area is kind of small and there were a few people sitting having lunch. There's also a salsa bar off to the side corner. They had some choices of salsa with limes and I also liked that they had cilantro on its on for people like me who don't like onions, thanks for thinking of us!! and a slot that was mixed cilantro/onions. I ordered the 4 street tacos with carne asada and chicken. Now, these were awesome! Both meat were flavored great and the tortillas were both crispy and soft, perfect for tacos! I got their red and green salsa from the salsa bar and I don't know which one was best, they were both really good! Now I wasn't sure if I was gonna get the birria tacos or the rolled one but decided with the rolled cause of convenience. I didn't make a good choice, the meat and cheese that is supposed to be inside was sooo dry. You would think, well the consume should help with that but it didn't cause it had a weird taste all on its own. I ended up just tossing these items cause there is no way they would be good reheated later. Overall, it was disappointing. There are plenty of places for street tacos that are just as good and closer to me and the same with the birria. I just can't with the taste of their consume. We were doing a class and starving and Naughty Tacos showed up as "burritos near us." The name took us aback a bit, but all in all it was a good experience and all 6 of us really enjoyed our meal. The tacos are small - more like traditional mexican street tacos. My burrito had great grilled chicken. Overall, the place was clean, the food seemed fresh and the ambience was kind of fun. Looked this place up on yelp for a fun and convenient place to grab a bite after a long, early morning flight. I see a lot of mixed reviews so I was prepared for anything lol!! All said and done though we were all (group of 7 ladies) pretty pleased with the experience. I got the birria soup and 2 tacos. Personally I don't love the onion and cilantro usually, and this place leaves all of that off so you can add the amount you prefer from the salsa bar, so I definitely loved that! I also got the blueberry lemonade drink which was SO sweet.. but it hit the spot for this Minnesotan adjusting to the desert climate. The rest of the group got the gamut of the menu and all agreed the food was good. Only downside we saw was that they seemed a little disorganized and their opening time was confusing. Been a follower of Naughty Tacos for a while now, but haven't been able to try it out until recently at the Scottsdale Taco Fest! I was extremely excited because I LOVE quesabirria tacos & Naughty Tacos looked so delicious on social media.. I feel like I hyped myself a little too much with their tacos because it was a major let down as soon as I tried them. In complete honesty, I feel like a taquito from a gas station would have more flavor than their tacos! They also had maybe 3 sauces to add to the tacos (one being like pico), so you couldn't enhance it if you really wanted to. Although the line was probably one of the longest, I wouldn't recommend the wait & it doesn't indicate quality tacos. They took the order quickly, but it took a really long time to get the food & you could tell there were many frustrated customers.. I think another part of the frustration was compared to other taco trucks the prices were way higher, we paid about $35 for 4 tacos & another customer mentioned "it better be good for $75" while receiving their order. Overall, I was disappointed in the food but glad I went to finally try it out for myself.. My work almost reached out about catering an event last year & I'm so glad we didn't because it would've been a huge let down to our clients! Went to visit this place during their soft opening (2/28/23); yay Taco Tuesday! The staff was friendly and happy to explain their hilariously adult-themed menu. I even watched the staff go the extra mile for an older individual that seemed utterly lost upon walking in. My partner in crime and I ordered the Big Boi Platter (4 birria tacos and consommé ramen), Chikin' Friez, and Strawberry Whorechata. The portion sizes were decent and even had some food left to take home. All 3 items cost around $90... Taste wise, the food was fair to middling, but the Whorechata was the absolute star. Naughty Tacos has 3 meal combos and that's it. They've got: 1. The FourPlay Platter - 4 tacos + consommé 2. Two Tacos 1 Cup - 1 Birria Ramen + 2 tacos 3. The Big Boi Platter - 1 Birria Ramen + 4 tacos The birria tacos are crispy and super cheesy and agua frescas are refreshing. Simply put: the food is fantastic. The line you wait in is not. I'm a firm believer of not waiting in line for more than an hour for food (regardless of how good it is and especially in AZ weather). I recommend if you see that the line that you coming back later if that's an option. Also it would be nice if the person that takes orders and payments moved down the line so those people waiting could get agua frescas or provide water for those waiting because it's pretty hot outside in the summer months. read more
