I had a really bad experience here. I came in trying to sell an item and was treated with immediate disrespect. The person helping me who I believe may have been a manager called me a "beggar" just for asking about Selling my items. I'm not exaggerating, that's exactly what was said. I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but the way I was spoken to was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. When I questioned why I was being treated that way, I was then told I was being disrespectful, which made the situation even worse. One bad employee can ruin an entire business experience, and unfortunately that's what happened here. Based on how I was treated, I would seriously question the authenticity of any glowing reviews. I believe they would be friends or family if they leave five stars. If you value being treated with basic respect, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. read more

Tried to sell a rifle I didn't want anymore, not only did they low ball me $200 under the previous price they said they would give me for it but they also demanded I give the a magazine for it even though when I bought it there from them they didn't give me a magazine with it. they were also very rude to me the entire time. read more

The woman in charge of the music equipment, I believe Elizabeth? was terrible. First she was pessimistic about all the inventory, said there is no point selling to her because none of her product moves off the floor anyway. A week later I brought in an AMP that was fast moving product, she was short, rude and unprofessional in our conversation. I was kind but told her I will be going somewhere else. Terrible employee. I've been going to pawn shops for years, in many different cities depending on where I was living at the time. I have purchased things and I have sold things, and not once have I had anything to complain about...until I went to Ace Pawn. My first impression: Upon walking into the store, I heard and then saw an employee (the man I later learned was in charge - Rob) scolding 2 of his subordinates with a host of insults and telling them they were "morons." He berated and spoke condescendingly to them as I approached the counter, and then immediately walked over to me and grabbed the box I was carrying from my hands and began to open it to asses the contents he presumed I wanted to pawn. I started to explain that I only wanted him to look at a few of the jewelry pieces, however he almost immediately turned sideways to continue his verbal attack on the employees while grabbing things out of the box. I felt really uncomfortable; I wanted to minimize the embarrassment being caused to the workers being berated, so I pretended to browse some of the items in the store until he finished his verbal assault on them. My pawning experience: The first words out of Rob's mouth to me were "How much are you expecting to get for these?"--- I was thrown off guard for a moment as I am usually involved in a discussion with the pawn shop, covering all the details of how much money I need and what items they would take to get the deal done. With Rob, I was talked at and not to. He went off on some tangent lecture about the value of things that was so ridiculous I actually almost started laughing. Perhaps he wasn't in his right mind after getting himself so worked up with his employees before I arrived..... but the more likely scenario is this: his arrogance and ignorance have resulted in many others walking out the door in bewilderment, never to return. read more

These are bad people. They lie to make a living. Make sure to read all the signs, which are far above near the ceiling which you won't notice normally while looking around. There are no refunds or exchanges as per their sale receipt which is after your purchase, but they will say different in order to make a sale.
