Yet the incompetent lazy woman who assisted us over the weekend makes me dread ever having to rent a car again. I mainly wonder why on earth she's even needed and it makes sense as to why we are using so many machines these days. She had a computer for absolutely nothing. Made us redo our booking ON OUR PHONE because how dare she lift a finger. Then she's over at the hertz desk flirting with the guy there. Took an hour to get our car after already having the reservation. Informed us of deposit AFTER we did all the booking for the second time on our phone. Took her forever to find keys because she was too busy flirting with hertz guy WHILE SHE HAD CUSTOMERS AT HER DESK. Lady was a waste. Kept saying it's company policy. She did nothing but hand us the keys. A machine could have done that. Smh. Don't use this rental service! Go with the hertz. Everyone seems to like them. Even the national lady.

It was probably the smoothest rental car experience I've ever had. I booked a rental car for my time in the area. I tried getting the car a day early but unfortunately there were none available- which was my bad, not their's so the next day I went back and talked to the woman who waited on me. She confirmed my order immediately with the information I provided. I gave her my return date and when I planned on returning the car and she told me to just keep it until my flight time since they charge for the 24 hours, which was super helpful to me and saved me another uber ride. She made sure I had a clean car that fit my tall body. Returning the car before/after hours was a breeze as all you have to do is drop the keys in the slot inside the terminal and then head up to the ticket counter for your flight. There were no hidden fees. No surprise charges. I had my invoice about an hour after they opened (before I took off) and I was all set. I have nothing negative to say at all. The car was the cleanest rental car I've had in my experience during COVID or prior.

My husband was graduating from his Naval Training and I needed to get there. I knew enterprise had never let me down before so I grabbed my phone logged in, selected the vehicle and within minutes I was standing at the enterprise counter. She greeted me with a smile and said she would be happy to get me into a vehicle. Just her kindness alone felt like a needed hug compared to the rude Budget guy. She set me up with a really nice car and congratulated my husband. She took the time to direct me where their lot is. Right across the street, you can't miss it! She has no idea how she saved me from breaking down in that airport. She was my saving grace!

When finally we finished the reservation, the girl acted like we should know where to pick it up and gave us shoddy directions. The car was okay and got us where we needed to go but smelled like cigarettes. When we returned the car, I left my sunglasses inside and although I called four or five times to see if they had found them, I was told each time that they'd look then call me back. They never did. Overall, nobody there seemed to know or care about what they were doing. I won't rent from them again.

We go back and they give us a 2010 Mazda. so dirty and it stunk like it wet dog. It was so dirty that we had to use wipes to wipe it down. The young lady with the long dark hair working the Budget Counter when we arrived was the opposite of friendly. She was enter our confirmation number and I provided it and she couldn't find the reservation. Instead of digging deeper she just shrugged her shoulders and said sorry we don't have a reservation. This was crazy because they had actually called us earlier to confirm our reservation. We were able to call Bridgette who we put on speakerphone and she walked her through finding our reservation. The young lady continued with her poor attitude and didn't bother to say a word when we thanked her. The car we were given had a dead battery in the key fob and we brought this to to another employee's attention but she was flustered and couldn't figure out what to do and because of the poor quality of service from her colleague, we were already running late so we decided to just go manual for the long weekend. It will be annoying but we would probably still be standing there if we waited on this pair to assist. So, do yourself a favor and book with Alamo! They're the best!!

My insurance company arranged a rental car through Enterprise in Waveland, MS. I picked the car up…read moreon Tuesday at 5 p.m. and was told that it was their last vehicle. The smell of air freshener was overpowering and I had to drive home with the windows down. A couple of hours later, I went to get in the car, but the smell of cigarette smoke was awful. I attempted to call the next morning, but sat on hold for more than 5 minutes, so I contacted my insurance representative, who then got in contact with Enterprise. Enterprise agreed to swap the car out with a different vehicle when they got a car in or told me that i could go to another Enterprise location. I made it very clear that I wanted a car that did not smell like cigarettes. The vehicle that they brought me was no better! I returned the car Thursday evening on my way from work. I called Enterprise's corporate number and raised a complaint. I was told that it will take 3 business days for a manager to return my call. Today (Friday), the local manager called and said she was going to give me a new car. She said she was going to contact my insurance company to arrange the new rental. After not hearing back in more than 4 hours, my husband called only to be told that it would be Monday before I would get the car! In my discussion with the manager, she never said it would be 3 days--I was under the impression that i would get a new car today. I'm not interested in going 3 days without a rental. I will gladly take my business to another rental car company. I have rented numerous cars (business & vacations) from a few different companies and this is the absolute worst rental car company that I've ever dealt with.
