**Review of Gulfport Airport Car Rental Services (Alamo, Enterprise, and National)** In the past six weeks, I have experienced significant issues with car rentals at Gulfport Airport, specifically with Alamo, Enterprise, and National. On two separate occasions, my reservations were mishandled. **First Rental**: Upon arriving to pick up my reserved vehicle, I was informed that the car I had selected was not available. Instead, I was offered a lower-grade replacement, and no discount or adjustment was made to reflect the downgrade. **Second Rental**: Approximately three weeks later, I made another reservation. This time, upon arrival, I was told there were no cars available at all. No prior communication or effort was made to notify me of this issue in advance. It is highly unreasonable and unprofessional that three agencies operating under the same corporate umbrella--Alamo, Enterprise, and National--failed to fulfill a reservation made online on two separate occasions. A customer who takes the time to reserve a vehicle online reasonably expects it to be ready upon arrival. If the reserved vehicle is unavailable, the company should extend the courtesy of notifying the customer in advance and making alternative arrangements. To date, I have contacted the manager by email Calvin French and Chris Gomez and am awaiting a response. I will provide an update if or when I receive one. However, it is deeply disappointing to encounter such poor service, particularly at an airport location where reliability is critical. This level of service from Gulfport Airport's car rental agencies reflects a lack of professionalism and accountability. It's too bad one cannot give less than a one star review because this Enterprise is certainly deserving of the worst rating possible. I had an accident that was not my fault. Insurance was to provide me a rental car while my car was being worked on. I called Enterprise in advance and they proposed a time of 11am to pick me up and a location that was just a few miles down the road. 11am came and went. Finally by 11:30am, I got a ride down there. When I got there, the line was wrapped around the building and having already lost an hour, I had to go back to work and could not wait. After calling and being hung up on SEVEN times, I finally got through to a representative and asked if they could come to my work to pick me up. He said that they would call when they were on the way. It is now 1:50PM and I still do not have a vehicle. From what I have been told, this is VERY typical of this location. I wish my insurance company would use a different rental car company because this Enterprise has a complete lack of respect for their customers. I will NEVER use this location if I am choosing to get a rental car and I would advise you to do the same! Although the car and the service by Enterprise were fine, the billing was not. There was a very mysterious extra charge on my credit card in the amount of $64.37. I disputed the charge, and Enterprise could not justify it. The result was not only a credit in that amount for me, but also a one-star review for Enterprise. Caveat emptor ! read more

This is a shady operation. DO NOT GO THERE! I had to replace a vehicle that had mechanical issues. They bring out the same type vehicle and I inspect it looks fine. Then tell me the vehicle I brought in is missing a panel? Wasn't,t before I gave it to them. Then when I go to get the vehicle it had been switched out for a minivan. REALLY before said there were plenty of vehicles now it's the only one on the lot not reserved! NEVER EVER USE ENTERPRISE. They apparently teach their agents to screw you. read more

My husband is a truck driver. His rig broke down in Wisconsin and repairs were expected to take several weeks. He rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Madison, Wisconsin to drive home to the coast. They were very friendly and helpful. They even included a tank of gas to help us out. Now that repairs are complete and it is time to get back to Wisconsin he goes to Enterprise in Gulfport on Tennessee avenue and they tell him that they will charge him .75 a mile after he crosses the state line. Absolutely horrible service and rude staff. They took 3 hours to get me a rental car that allows my child car seat to latch, which is a newer model car. In the meantime they helped other customers that came after me even though I had a reservation in advance. In the end when the last car finally worked, the office manager assigned a woman who self claimed to be the assistant manager to finish the process with me. Expect she decided to take off while I was latching my child car seat and not telling me anything. I thought we were supposed to do a walkthrough of the car and paperwork. I put my child in the car seat. I ran inside thinking she would be right there. No she wasn't. So me being 7 months pregnant, had been waiting for 3 hours, not able to go get water or food while waiting, I had to get my child out of car seat and find another staff who isn't even working at the front desk. Then she came out and I asked her why she would just leave. The other staff and her then started blaming me by saying I should have come in to tell them whenever I am ready. No that isn't how that works from what I saw all morning. Once the car is turning over to the customer, they stand by to do a walkthrough and complete paperwork. Then I asked her to give me her manager's card for me to contact. She then refused to bring me her name card and said, "you can either walk inside and get her card or leave." Then she turned her back on me and left without a walkthrough or given me any paperwork to complete the checkout process. If you don't want to wait forever to get a car there and then get treated like crap in the end, please don't go there to rent a car. It is a nightmare. I gave 3 stars because the office manager actually was nice and tried to help me. The guy assisted me for my first two cars were really nice and helpful as well. read more

We have used this location many times and have had great service until today. The vehicle was disgusting. They did not even so much as wipe the seats off. I emailed them to let them know the car was filthy, but I got no response. I did not plan on starting my vacation by disinfecting a vehicle. We won't be back. read more

Absolute worst customer service ever. The Assistant manager was so unhelpful . We had an issue when we arrived which we had to come up with our own solution for instead of the Assistant manager not helping by giving us alternatives. She simply quoted policies , the Manger simply hid in the office . We came up with a solution on our own and they said ohh that will work yet they didn't really want to do it but it worked. The entire time they simply quoted policies with no solutions , I understand the need for policies but if there is a alternative solution to help your customer fulfil the need then you need to workshop it with them instead of simply saying tough your on your own next customer especially when its a business customer that rents cars from the brand all of the time . We couldn't use our regular branch because they were out of cars so we were forced to this branch and were amazed at the difference in customer service , Enterprise should take note of this when the difference in customer service from location to location is so different . And the best part was this assistant manager and probably the manager ether , didn't understand the branding on credit cards , you know Disney , PayPal , whatever brand people put on cards and they said they couldn't take branded credit cards. I'm not going to name the assistant managers name as the intent of this post is not to be cruel but to inform future business or personal customers to avoid this location. I'm not sure what the test is to get to be an assistant manager there but it doesn't include customer service training or general knowledge of business, The lack of quality employees in businesses these days is really showing , obviously this location had to settle for whomever applied for the Job and this is what happens to a good brand with low skill employees or employees with poor training are left to deal with the customers, I really feel sorry for her as this will likely be her last real professional Job. And the problem is most likely with her manager , but who would know when he simply stays in the office . We rent from enterprise all of the time but this will be the last time from this branch . The branch has mostly negative reviews and will continue to receive them as long as this team is in place. read more
