TBS was not my first call but when Kris showed up to do the estimate I felt a sense of compassion for my situation and professionalism that the job would be done correctly. As well the estimate was fair and the process was well explained. Next I dealt with David in the office. David was helpful in lining up the appointments for pump out, installation, and final recovering of the new system after final inspection. Next Jesse and Dustin showed up to do the installation which was a long process. Both did the job with skill and professionalism and answered all of my questions. They managed to get the job done with only minor casualties on my shrubs. I was impressed. Finally at the end of the Process Jake came out to grade the job site, clean up all debris and reseed the area. He did a great job. As stated this is a daunting job for anyone who hasn't been through it but this team from the owner on down made the process easier for me to understand while delivering exactly what they promised and leaving me a happy and satisfied customer. The technician was polite and professional, and he explained that the float valve to the pump wasn't working and needed replacement. He also noted that there was no float valve on the alarm. I know there was one before, but apparently it was never reinstalled when they replaced the pump previously. When I contacted the office, I expected them to correct this oversight at no cost. Instead, they refused, insisted on charging me, and handled the situation rudely. While the tech did his job well, the office staff was dismissive and unhelpful. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.

This company renovated two bathrooms and hooked up our brand new kitchen 2-1/2 years ago. I am a…read morelicensed contractor and had to foster new relationships with vendors because I was 4 hours away. The tech was mildy experienced and hooked up may items incorrectly which we had fixed at our own expense. The most recent being the master bath shower pan that was not done to code for two reasons. The first reason was there were no dam corners above the curb as required by the Florida building code.  Dam corners are put in so if there is ever a leak where the shower enclosure penetrations are, everything stays protected.  This is evidenced in the 2023 Florida building code chapter 27. They really need to educate themselves.   Also, this pan should've been pre-pitched with either a Styrofoam liner or with floor mud before the pan was put down. This is Florida building code and is the way that I do it in my business every day.  Placing a shower pan directly against raw concrete without a proper slope, almost certainly leads to a pan failure. Water will pool beneath or inside the pan, rotting the surrounding structure, fostering mold, and compromising the waterproof seal which is exactly what happened.    I paid them to do this correctly and I had assumed that it would be in accordance with the Florida building code. I was not living there and was not able to be there to supervise.   When I contacted them, Luis argued with me and told me that it was done correctly, the same way he did when he hooked up our Alkaline Water machine where it was reversed, and the Alkaline Water was coming out of the small spout where you couldn't even fit a cup under. He actually called me "picky."  I have never, in my 37 years, doing kitchen and bathroom remodels, called a client picky for wanting something to work as designed and intended. I requested a refund on what was paid orginally (not the amount to rip everything out, pay for a proper pan to be done, and re-tile. That cost will be over $10,000.00. Their response is as listed below: Thank you for reaching out to us. We have received your request for a refund regarding the shower pan installation completed at your Tampa condo in December 2023. As a General Contractor and fellow industry professional, I believe you can appreciate the operational standards necessary to maintain the integrity of a specialized trade like plumbing. Because of our respect for your professional background, we want to address your concerns with complete transparency. Our standard service warranty on labor is one year from the date of completion. As this project was completed over two and a half years ago, it is well outside our established warranty window. More importantly, our records and your recent correspondence indicate that another contractor has already opened and manipulated the work area to perform their own diagnosis and remediation. From a protective and liability standpoint, it is impossible for us to honor or evaluate a warranty claim once another party has touched the work. In our industry, it is unfortunately common for a competitor to attempt to discredit previous work to justify their own scopes. Because we were not given the opportunity to inspect the issue first-hand in its original state, we cannot verify the conclusions drawn by a third party. That being said, we truly value the long-standing relationship we've built with you. Because you are a VIP customer, we are willing to offer a professional courtesy that reflects that status. While we cannot issue a refund for work that was accepted and remained functional for over two years, we would be happy to send a senior technician to look at the issue and suggest a root-cause fix. Should you choose to have us perform the corrective work, we will apply a heavily discounted "VIP rate" to the labor and materials, just as we have done in the past. So we shouldn't have been completely shocked when our electric went out on a Sunday morning in April 2021 & the main breaker to the house smelled like an electrical fire. Still, we were surprised, of course. Sorry, Yelp, my first thought was to check our neighborhood's Facebook group for recommendations. After two calls & no live person, I turned to Yelp, looking for electricians "open now". Sunrise had recently updated their Yelp listing with details and had a few good reviews, so I called them. Shelley answered the phone & was very helpful in assuring us that someone could come out that day. She took our information, and we did have to provide payment of $119 for the emergency service call. Communication was great afterward, which included both a text and phone call a couple hours later when our service tech was en route. Kevin actually arrived a bit earlier than the estimated arrival time and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. After looking at our main breaker box, he confirmed that it needed to be replaced, and that he would be able to replace it that day. He also advised that we would need a surge protector for the whole house, along with inspections & permits which he would be able to do as well for the quoted price. Many hours later, we had power again, with a new main breaker box. And I'm glad to have a house-wide surge protector. This was not a cheap repair/upgrade, and we were obviously unable to get other quotes or compare prices on a Sunday, but we're happy with the work done.

When the plumber, Richie, returned to review his work a week later, he argued with us and said the water was hot. I told him that's not what our complaint was - the temperature wasn't consistent. When we asked him to re-install the previous unit, he said he couldn't because he had thrown it away in the trash. The previous Reem water heater of ours was working just fine. We were just downgrading to a smaller unit. We sent a complaint to the office almost 2 weeks ago but no one has ever called, texted or emailed us back. Absolutely an unreputable company! I can't believe they have so many good reviews when we definitely received the worst service possible. Update: I don't think it's wise for any business to publicly give an "excuse" why they did something that a customer is unhappy about, and rightfully so. Their plumber was told from the start that our current/previous tankless water heater was working just fine. Why would anyone throw away a unit that's working fine? After speaking with Lucy today, I was also asked to revise my review here if they provide a new service that is satisfactory. My husband and I run a small business and we've never asked a customer to revise their online review. It is always the customer's choice to do that on their own. A company's response to a negative review always shows how they truly operate.
