I have been coming to Master Tian for over 25 years. This man is a healer and truly amazing. I was introduced to him when I worked across the street at Howard's. I wanted to provide an update on what happened after I called the police. While the police were interviewing the workers at the business, they requested access to the security camera footage. During this time, the masseuse was acting very strange and repeatedly kept touching her pocket, which immediately raised concerns. The police gave her one final opportunity to conduct another search. The officer also asked me if I wanted to search the premises myself, and I told him that I wanted the entire place searched, including the masseuse, her pockets, and everywhere else thoroughly. Shortly after, the owner arrived and began speaking with the police. Then, unbelievably, the masseuse walked back into the same room (room 008) we had previously been in, came back out, and suddenly claimed she had found the missing item. She told the police it was supposedly under the pillow. What makes this highly suspicious is that she had already searched under the pillow and through the NEW sheets while I was present and stated that nothing was there. Now we're expected to believe that it was somehow hidden in the crack of the massage table (according to the owner stated on my friend's review) the entire time. That explanation sounds very sketchy and raises serious concerns about the credibility of what actually happened. STILL never coming back. The masseuse got caught.

Then I stopped going because I ventured to other massage places until recently I came back last year and I tried almost all of the guys there, they're in their 60's, and their skills are ok, like any other Asian massage place. But there's a new guy there named Yen, yes Yen is a man's name and he is like a bodybuilder, he's full of muscles. He's strong and he has really good massaging skills. He's quite and doesn't talk much, once in awhile he'll ask if you're ok. He does a really good deep tissue massage, and is strictly professional. They have private rooms with thick curtains as a door. The price is still decent. And make sure you tip him well and not the usual 20% y'all think that's what they deserve. Please tip $10 or more per hour, they work hard and is not too much of o ask. The area seems like a seedy place because so many of the old Chinese/Vietnamese men are hanging around the Tip Top restaurants but is safe, there's other restaurants and 2 other massage shops in the same plaza. My opinion, I know Yen is the best one there but you have to call to make an appointment with him because he is part time here. He also works part time at another massage place, Bao Zhi Lin Relax Spa, about 1 miles away. The boss lady at Sea Spa is nice, it does get loud in there but when you're enjoying Yen's massage and fall asleep, waking up drooling, is all worth it lol good luck

The lady at the front desk was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the rates for body and foot massage combination. The massage was decent. Spent too much time on the top of my head and not enough on my back and shoulders. But I was enjoying the vibe and thought I would come back. That was until the massage was done. I sat at the chair waiting for my friend to be finished. The masseuse stood by waiting for his tip. So, I went to pay and gave him a $15 tip. He actually yelled out "$15!!" He kept walking back and forth talking to the front desk lady. Clearly was upset. She then came up to me to ask for an additional $5. She said, "you should feel lucky. You got a good massage for cheap." I gave her the additional $5 but also told her that tip is not required and it's dependent on the service you receive. She just smiled and walked away. I know that these are service staff and they rely on their tips. But I tipped almost 30%! I think they offer really low prices because of the competition in their location and just expect their customers to pay the difference. I will not be returning.

It's $60 for 60min back and 30min foot which used to be $55 which isnt that bad. The experience however did not make up for the change in price. This time they asked me to swap to 60minutes because I assume they were falling behind? The worker answered the phone mid massage and paused to talk to her coworker/boss then asked me if I will be able to do 60minutes instead. She did not state the price difference until I asked, which it went down to $40 just to be sure they didnt charge me the $60. Massage was okay this time, not great or as detailed/deep as before. They definitely seem busier I will say. I also would like the mention that the room has some clothing or something on the floor and the thin sheet they used to cover was a bit dirty. I could see the dark scuff marks. When leaving I paid in cash and also gave a 20% tip and as I was leaving a different lady, maybe the manager, kept repeating the price as she thought I underpaid her without actually counting the money. I told her I understood and the $40 was already in her hand and the rest was tip for the worker. Was a good spot for awhile, but going to look for someplace else now.

The place I normally go to is about 30 minutes from me, and I knew I wasn't going to make it there that late. I called a few different places that were open until 9 or 10, but everywhere I called was booked and didn't have anything available until the next morning. Thankfully, Lulu's was my last place to call and they had an opening! They even texted me directions on how to find them since there are so many massage places in that area. They also explained where to look for parking and called me to make sure I found the place okay. I really appreciated that because sometimes finding these places can be a little confusing. When I walked in, the lights were dim, the atmosphere was really welcoming, and I was taken to my room pretty much right away. My massage therapist was Candy, and I HIGHLY recommend her! She literally worked on exactly what I needed and I walked out of there feeling so relaxed. I only did an hour, and honestly I wish I would've booked longer because I didn't want it to end . They also gave me a little rewards card, but I honestly don't even remember all the details because I was so relaxed and in the zone after my massage! The prices are great, the service was great, and I really have nothing but good things to say. I'll definitely be coming back and I can't wait for my next massage! Definitely recommend Lulu's and Candy(hope I got her name correct)!

I quickly found Lulu relax spa and I appreciate Lulu being very communicative when I requested an appointment as it was my first time, however I quickly realized that I should have went with another spot. The massage was very uncomfortable from the get go because I had an older male masseuse that reeked of cigarettes. I do not want to slander the therapist or business but this was a waste of my time and money. On top of that, he kept coughing and burping throughout my time there. I am a male myself and I have high tolerance for things but I left the session feeling really grossed out, with my whole body and clothes dirty and less relaxed than when I stepped inside. He was kind enough but the massage itself was very formulaic and you could tell he was running through the motions for a pay check. I noticed he didn't even bother to repeat the same motions on both sides of my body and overall he was too rough. I appreciate good pressure but it was borderline painful. Overall, I was too uncomfortable to relax and I still tipped 30% but ultimately I would not come back and could not in good conscience recommend anyone coming here. There are at least 3 better places on las tunas, please consider those instead...

The shop…read moreitself was clean, and they were advertising a $40 one-hour special, which seemed like a great deal. The massage therapist was polite enough, but unfortunately the massage itself was anything but relaxing. I repeatedly asked her to use less pressure because it was far too painful, but she either didn't understand or chose to ignore my request. Instead of feeling my muscles loosen up, I spent most of the session trying to endure the pain. With about five minutes left, she subtly suggested that there were "additional services" available if I was interested. I looked at her, politely declined, and tried to pretend the conversation never happened. It was awkward and completely unnecessary. As the session was coming to an end, the pain in my neck became unbearable. I finally told her I had had enough and asked to stop early because I genuinely couldn't take it anymore. When I checked out, I left a $10 tip, which I thought was perfectly reasonable considering my experience. She immediately told me the minimum tip should be $20. I've heard this line at too many massage places before, and it's always the same story--asking for more regardless of the quality of the service. I politely refused, paid my bill, and walked out. The real nightmare started the next morning. I woke up with excruciating pain at the base of my neck. It honestly felt like the bones were about to snap. I could barely stand up straight, and every movement sent sharp pain through my neck and upper back. A massage is supposed to leave you feeling refreshed and relieved--not injured. I'm not sure how long this pain will last, but one thing is certain: I will never be returning. What started as an attempt to relax turned into one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had.

The annoying thing was my masseuse's phone rang twice during my massage. Worst yet, she answered it. I find it both rude and unprofessional. Additionally, there are a lot of people talking unnecessarily in the lobby so this is far from a quiet and soothing massage. If you're looking for quality, deep tissue work at a fraction of spa pricing and don't mind some subtle background noise of people talking from time to time, then this is the place for you! The pricing is VERY low and these (mostly) women work 6 days a week. They work so, so hard so the standard 20% tipping is quite low. They make minimum wage so they do rely heavily on tips. My husband is a chiropractor and tries to see Amy every few weeks, if not weekly. She really helps his achy body and helps me with my migraines and neck/back pain. We typically do a 90mins massage that is $60. We always tip $30 or MORE. These ladies work hard. I see people mentioning tipping so I wanted to add this point to my review. Even at $90 (the price we pay w/tip) for a 90mins, it's a massage that can't be beat. I can't speak to the other technicians except Amy. She's exceptional. If you get a 90mins you can opt to skip the seated/laying down foot section and go straight to the room. We prefer the time spent on the entire body so 30mins spent in this chair we skip. The body portion is in a small room without a door. Instead, there is a curtain. You still have lots of privacy but, again, don't come here looking for the fluffy spa experience.
