Prices went up and customer service went down for sure. This place started blowing up on Tiktok and I have been going here for about a year now, maybe longer. It's $60 for 60min back and 30min foot which used to be $55 which isnt that bad. The experience however did not make up for the change in price. This time they asked me to swap to 60minutes because I assume they were falling behind? The worker answered the phone mid massage and paused to talk to her coworker/boss then asked me if I will be able to do 60minutes instead. She did not state the price difference until I asked, which it went down to $40 just to be sure they didnt charge me the $60. Massage was okay this time, not great or as detailed/deep as before. They definitely seem busier I will say. I also would like the mention that the room has some clothing or something on the floor and the thin sheet they used to cover was a bit dirty. I could see the dark scuff marks. When leaving I paid in cash and also gave a 20% tip and as I was leaving a different lady, maybe the manager, kept repeating the price as she thought I underpaid her without actually counting the money. Absolutely not. I liked that you could make reservations, which I did. Reading through the reviews, I requested Lily for a head, shoulder and neck massage. I arrived for my appt and they took me to my room. I haven't been here before and I should have probably said that because of the massage I was doing, I wasn't sure if I needed to undress from the waist down. Lily came back to the room and answered my question, fully undress with bottom under garment on. As soon as the massage began, I was surprised by house much pressure she was applying. It has been awhile since my last massage so I thought it was that and stress. About 20 mins in, she asked about the pressure and I told her less pressure. I don't know if I had knots but she focused so much along my spine and my shoulder. It hurt so much so I asked her again to lighten pressure. I really wanted to head massage because of stress and pressure and she touched my head for less than a minute and went back to my shoulders and back. I tried breathing through it and by the time I knew it, the message was over. At some point she left the room to get the lava rocks. I don't think she closed the door and she had pulled my underwear down halfway. Lastly, before we ended she stretched me, she put her arms through my arms and crossed them behind my head and completely shifted me to one side and then the other side, it was rough and I know I was fully flashing and exposed. It was late afternoon so maybe she was tired. I don't know but I will not be returning here. I usually go to Water Flower massage which is also on Garfield. Cindy usually takes care of me and is so gently and checks in right at the beginning. I only came here because of the head massage and I should have said that I wanted it to be the primary focus. read more

My massage therapist was very patient and accommodating, adjusting everything so I could stay on my back while focusing on my neck, shoulders, and head. She did an excellent job. My mom got a combination full-body and foot massage, and her therapist was amazing as well. There was a slight language barrier, but everyone was kind, and we were able to communicate just fine. I came here via car on a Friday evening in early March 2025. They had a parking lot in the back which was free. I came in with a terrible neck and back muscle spasm. I had been using a heating pad on it all day but that didn't help, when it usually does. The pain was so bad that I missed Pickleball, which I normally do not do. I had heard about this place through ClassPass (or something) awhile ago and didn't remember anything bad about it so I decided to give it another shot since there was one so close to me. I also figured since it was so last minute, it might be easier to get an appointment at this place since it was a smaller establishment. I made the appointment around 3pm that day for 6pm for a 1-hour deep tissue. When I came in and told them what my issue was, they recommended the 1-hour Neck, Shoulder, & Back Massage. Lily was my masseuse and it was the most thorough back massage I've ever had. I'm so glad I didn't do the full body deep tissue because she really focused on all the little muscles all along my back, neck, and shoulders. It made a huge difference. The pain wasn't completely gone but it was less than what it would have been. It ended up being $60 for 60-minutes. Looking back I should have got the 90-minute one instead. She first used a towel to get into all the tiny muscles up and down my back before using massage oil. At the end she used hot stones to finish off the massage before wiping all the oil off with a hot damp cloth. I paid using my credit card at the front where I was also able to tip on the receipt. Yes, this is coming from a previous experience elsewhere. I always get deep tissue massages as that is what I NEED. I have a few go-to masseuses here and they are the BEST! This is a no frill massage place. So, if you want the whole shabang, you gotta go and pay $$$ for it elsewhere. Please call and make an appointment over the phone. We called ahead of time to make an appointment and they were very accommodating by offering us later appointment times to fit our schedule. We each got an 1 hr massage. I did the oil body massage which cost $40 for an hour. You can get a deep tissue massage for $50/hr. My wife got the one hour head massage for $60. She said it was pretty good! We were both spoiled having live in China for many years. It's hard to compared this place to places over there when you had to pay much less for a really good service. The Masseuses were really kind and friendly! They aimed to please! I will have to opt for the Deep Tissue massage next time to see if that's more comfortable for me. I have visited this place multiple times, primarily because of my therapist, who does excellent work. However, during my most recent visit, I decided it would be my last. Similar issues had occurred in the past, and I had overlooked them, but this time, enough was enough. First, when I entered my room, the therapist failed to close the door fully; it was only halfway shut. I was concerned about my privacy--what if someone walked by? I definitely didn't want to be seen naked. Secondly, the noise level was unacceptable. The staff spoke very loudly, as if they were on a football field, which made it hard for me to relax and enjoy my massage. Lastly, the therapist had her phone on the table, and it was neither on silent nor on vibrate. Notifications kept coming through, which was distracting. When I expressed my concerns about the noise from the other staff members, my therapist simply responded that they were busy. To me, being busy doesn't justify the excessive talking in a spa meant for relaxation. Given these issues, I will not return, and I cannot recommend this place to others. Wow 100% would NOT recommend :D Found them via TikTok, heard about the great pricing , called in day of and was able to take me in in less than a hour. That's amazing BUT throughout the whole session the masseuse kept walking in and out, chatting with the front desk receptionist through the thin walls, and whenever she leaves she left the door wide open. Lucky me! In addition no matter how much I told the masseuse to lighten her hand she would do it lightly then back to hard. At the end she was stretching my body, she stretched me in a way that completely exposed my chest to her :D I got the $60/ 90 min full body package. At checkout the front desk receptionist called me out for leaving a $10 tip and I was a little taken aback because that's 15%. Ok maybe I calculated wrong or the industry standard for tipping changed... I decided to tip 20%. Then the lady said it needs to be 15 at least. I responded yes ma'am I tipped 20% pointing to the recommend tipping tiers at the bottom of the receipt. She responds no, tipping minimum is 15, I keep thinking she meant 15% and I again responded I tipped 20%. She gets frustrated at me and demanded a $15 tip. Last time I checked tipping was optional and base on service experience? There was also no signage anywhere that said tipping minimum is $15. After demanding even more tip she stated the tipping tier at the bottom is not an accurate representation of what the tip should be because I received a 90min massage. Again I feel tipping percentage should be base either off of the total or service. As mentioned at the beginning I did NOT have a good service. This went back and forth 3 times. Her hovering my shoulder to see what I wrote, then examine the receipt telling me no she won't accept it, and me just confused. I have been to at least 5 massage shops now (Thai, Chinese, American) but never have I been treated like this. I have tipped up to $30 before so it's not about being cheap but the principle at this point. Maybe raise the massage prices if your workers have to rely on tip to make a wage? Even if I ignore the tipping scamy situation the experience was just so bad overall. Did not feel comfortable, Did not feel I got a 90min massage because the masseuse kept walking in and out, and not relaxing because why are we having a conversation through the walls? I always tip 20% or more and let it slide when a couple of the workers here gave me a hard time and shamed me for not leaving more than 20%. Recently it happened again, and I just can't take this kind of treatment or behavior anymore...especially when I am going to relax and try to have a moment of peace. The management needs to either raise their prices and pay their workers more or tell their employees to stop treating their clients this way. Today, I just did the regular 60min body massage. It was good while the massage was going, felt a little relieved from stress. But it didn't last long. I should have opted for deep massage. The sheet used to cover your body was thick and a great quality. The actual massage bed smelled really good and a was comfortable also. There have been times where I have been super uncomfortable due to a low quality massage bed. Not here. The ladies who work there were very friendly. A lady I actually used to LOVE at another spa actually works here now. Her name is Linda and she is an amazing masseuse. Today I had Viola and she blew my mind. This is my new spot. I've been here on special occasions a few times to treat myself and I always leave wishing I could stay longer. The inside is actually a bit small, but considering that you'll be lying down the whole time, it's not really a big issue. The staff here are really great at what they do and provide amazing massages for a great value. They do primarily speak Chinese, but it won't be a problem if you only speak English. Booking appointments is super easy and I usually call within a week's notice. For newcomers, their offerings are a bit extensive so it can be confusing. I highly recommend starting with the 60-minute back massage. It's a great bang-for-your-buck deal and despite the name, they take care of your whole body (head, neck, legs, etc.). Can't recommend it enough. All their other massages are great too if you want to target specific areas, but I will say that the deep tissue massage may not be for everyone because they really do go DEEP. They still do a good job, but just know your tolerance going in. The staff are always accommodating to make sure the massage is to your comfort level. If they're going too hard, just let them know. Plus, they prove a super relaxing ambiance with soft music in the background too. Sometimes, I almost fall asleep right on the table. I do recommend planning to go home once you're done because there can be some residual massage oil on your body afterwards. I like getting massages every 2 weeks and I've been to many places all over LA, SGV, and OC, and this place is my new favorite. It is a hidden gem in the SGV. This place definitely live up to the hype. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the massage. Not only am I impressed, but I can't wait to go back. The receptionist on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. I requested for Linda and she was amazing. The place seemed really clean when I walked in. I also like how comfy the beds were and that they use quality blankets to cover me. And Linda made sure I was covered at all times other than the areas that she needed to massage. I really appreciate the small details like that. Usually I feel cold getting massages at other places and even colder after they wipe off the oil, but not this place. Linda did not disappoint. I usually like my massages deep tissue. I felt so refreshed and well taken care of. The massage had a combo of deep tissue and stretching. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the complimentary hot rocks too. It was so relaxing I fell asleep at some point. *This review is only for the prenatal massage. I received a gift for a 1-hour prenatal massage at this salon. I made an appointment the week prior, but upon arriving they didn't seem to expect me. This made me a little nervous seeing as it's my first prenatal massage and I hoped the masseuse assigned to me had experience with this type of massage. I was immediately taken into a private room to change and lay down. The facility condition/cleanliness is what I expected. Sheets were clean the room was a little dingy. Immediately, I noticed that they didn't have a pregnancy pillow which was concerning since at 22-weeks pregnant it's uncomfortable for me to lay on my sides without one. Instead, the masseuse brought in two throw pillows (like the kind used for a couch). The pillow already on the table was VERY flat and offered no support. The massage itself was fine; the pressure was gentle and she never touched my belly. My back was massaged as I lay on either side, but I couldn't let my body fully relax because I had to physically brace myself with my elbows and knees due to the lack of a proper pregnancy pillow. At one point she asked me to lay on my back (literally NOT recommended for a prenatal massage) to massage my neck, scalp, arms and legs. I had to insist on at least using one of the throw pillows to prop up my upper back so I wasn't completely flat, and I had to bend my knees and hold my lower body at an angle to feel even slightly more comfortable. That part was the most uncomfortable and I couldn't wait for it to end, honestly. I gave an extra start because the masseuse was nice and did try her best to check in with me throughout the massage about the pressure and if I was OK. But the spa's equipment and knowledge about safe prenatal massage techniques is lacking. I'm sure that their regular massages are perfectly good, but I don't recommend the prenatal massage here. read more

I got the deep tissue full body massage and after I was done, my whole body felt so relaxed and my muscles felt loose. If I could give a zero I would. I understand that I was not at the Ritz Carlton. And I know what I was paying for. However, a person who works in a "spa" and doesn't know that spas are where people go to relax and be quiet SHOULDN'T work in a spa! The most aggravating thing was that my massage therapist kept talking over my head with her coworkers and repeatedly left me to speak with someone outside the room, and by the door. At one point, the other staff were yelling out their conversation because she was way in the back. When I finally had it with the noise, I asked her to please stop talking. She took a pause, and she put the person on her phone on speaker. I asked her again to please stop talking. She left me to talk again outside the room several times and forgot that she only massaged one side of my lower back which was exactly why I was there. Because she apologized a few times, (eventhough she didn't really make corrections), I thought she'd extend my time on the table. Unsurprisingly, she didn't. My friend who was with another therapist finished the same time I did. I found out that she didn't know what service I asked for when her coworker yelled at her because she tried to charge me a cheaper rate. That's when I realized she didn't even know that I asked for a deep tissue massage. That's why she asked me 30 minutes in if I want soft or firm pressure. And if you think it didnt get worse, you're wrong. .The lady asked why there was no tip. I told her exactly what I thought about her work and she just looked at me clueless. Good massage! I called on the day of, on a Monday, to book an appointment for 4pm, was quick and simple leaving my name, service, and time. I showed up maybe a minute late but it looked like they were running late/busy. No one was at the front desk when I entered but soon enough someone popped their head out of one of the rooms to let me know they'd address me shortly. Btw when I entered the place looked pretty compact. I waited about 5ish minutes before someone came and asked me what service I wanted, to which I said the deep tissue massage for 60minutes. They led me to the first room on the left (pretty bare and simple) and told me to take off my shirt and pants, underwear being optional. I laid down on the bed, they had a sheet you would place on top to cover up and I think the masseuse came in about 5-10minutes later. I didn't get her name but she was a nice middle aged lady with glasses. She didn't talk much but I felt comfortable and prefer not to talk during massages. She was pretty strong and killed my back haha and mentioned my back was hard, I had a feeling my muscles were pretty tense since I have been going to the gym almost daily and had just worked out a few hours prior to the massage. There were some spots I thought she could've put more strength in but it was probably better she didn't since overall the massage was thorough and what I expected for a deep tissue massage. She did massage the cheeks a little and adjusted my underwear a few times so if I end up going again (would definitely recommend trying this place, I'm just a little short on money cuz I have a trip coming up) I'll probably forgo the undies next time. I would say half the massage was done dry, the other half with oil. And then for about maybe 5ish minutes she used hot stones on my back. Wish the hot stones were incorporated for a while longer but still appreciated it. She didn't massage my arms as long as my legs but was still thorough enough. She also massaged my neck and head and when she had me face up she did a brief few touches on my face. I was face up towards the end of the massage for maybe 10 minutes, not that long and she cracked my back by moving my legs. Honestly, pretty much the full body was done and given the price, it was very fair/cheap. I paid $50 via credit card and $20 tip via cash. There was also a cup of water offered at the front desk when I came out of the room. Some reviews say there was a bad experience with tipping, for myself I didn't experience that.
