This is the only thing we were disappointed with, not disappointed enough to mark the rest of the experience down though. The chicken was pretty good, but some bites were really salty. But it's about as close as you'll come to a quaint Parisian sidewalk cafe when in Playa. The seating is outdoor only, with friendly table service; and you can also pick up coffee, pastries, and sandwiches to go if needed for a day at the beach or a relaxing evening in the condo. Our favorite here were the almond and chocolate almond croissants. They were absolutely divine and I have to confess we enjoyed these sweet delicacies at least three or four mornings. Twice we also visited for a sit-down breakfast, sharing the generous La Mexicana breakfast with red chilaquiles, the freshest OJ ever, coffee, and a brioche. On the last day we stopped at their takeout counter (located in the back) to order some sandwich deliciousness for the plane ride home. I opted for the smoked salmon sandwich with boursin spread, avocado, and fresh tomatoes - all served atop a baguette that was as good as any I've ever had in a French bakery.
