    Americano ($3.50)
    Cat N.

We were walking around near the coast and decided to go in here for a quick drink. We ended up staying for a bit. We all got a cold drink. I found their Americano to be super watery and they charged us for straws. Pricing was pretty affordable though. I think I paid about $2.50 for an Americano. I liked that they had some really good looking ready to be bought baked pastries. They looked pretty tasty. The inside is small but really cute and is a great place to sit and hang out. They also had a small outside sitting area.

Super nice bakery in Cozumel. Latte, pastries or even your sourdough bread are all perfectly made and fresh. Do try!

What a wonderful gem. There are so many things to say about it but just know the place is charming, the service exceptional, and the food artistic and scrumptious. So so so good.

Was very yummy this morning! I loved the french toast and partner loved some type of sourdough breakfast bowl. Iced mocha latte was my favorite on the island so far

Wow! Just wow!! So, this is probably the best bakery on the island. Though I haven't been to them all. The food was fantastic as was the atmosphere. There are better coffee places. But if you're looking for a delicious pastry or amazing breakfast/ lunch, definitely check this place out!!

I give this place a 5 star- the ambience in and outdoors, the servers and the food were all fantastic. They treated us well and was very accommodating. In my past travels, some cafes are cross with tourists (even if they are paying customers) if they want to use their bathrooms or if they want hang around for a bit before ordering or if you want to charge your phone. This was definitely not the case when we visited. The drinks were fresh and well-made, the crepe was delicious. We had their classic maple crepe which can be shared by 2 people. It was on a road that was a little distant from the Centro, it's a much needed break from pushy vendors and scalpers. It's also pet friendly and easy to park your rental scooters or bikes.

Great food, chocolate croissants are wonderful, well made cappuccinos. No English spoken or on menus, but that's what makes it fun.

The owner was so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. We're already looking forward to going back in March, and yes, my crazy self called two months in advance to make sure I got the time I wanted. Highly, highly recommend. A true gem and such a unique dining experience in Cozumel.

The restaurant is open-air, the kind of place where fans work overtime and the heat is part of the atmosphere. If you're here for polished white-tablecloth perfection, you're missing the point. This is the kind of place where the food matters, and the people making it matter even more. We started with a margarita -- simple, clean, lime-driven, the way it should be. Then a surprise: a Mexican Chardonnay that was more than just a curiosity. It was bright, elegant, and held its own against what was about to come. The tuna tataki arrived like a quiet promise -- fresh, barely kissed by flame, layered with tomatoes and herbs that tasted like they'd been picked that morning. Then came the pasta. Not just pasta -- house-made, hand-cut strands with that chew you can only get when someone's sweating in the back rolling it out. One plate loaded with clams, briny and delicate, another brimming with mussels, shrimp, tomatoes -- a proper frutti di mare. This was Italian soul filtered through the Caribbean, kissed with garlic and oil, but unmistakably crafted with care. And then dessert. A cacao chocolate cake so rich, so unapologetically decadent, it silenced the table for a moment. This is the kind of cake you remember -- layered, moist, dark, a reminder that pastry is art when it's done right. But food is only part of the story. Joel, our waiter, was the other. A young man brimming with passion, the kind of person who doesn't just serve you but lets you glimpse the beating heart of the restaurant. His pride, his storytelling, his quiet attentiveness -- it elevated the night from a meal to an experience. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. Not because it's fancy, not because it's perfect, but because it's real. Real food, real people, real sweat. And in the end, that's what matters.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It was good enough that I decided to come back for seconds before I departed Cozumel. I also had the breakfast with chorizo and eggs which was good, especially the bread. The cardamom roll was delicious as well. Most, if not everything, is made in-house. It's right near the popular Wet Wendy's if you feel like popping over for a margarita afterwards. Overall, I definitely recommend checking out Coz Coffee Roasters for your coffee and breakfast/lunch fix.

And a visit to Coz has become a must for me. The aforementioned avocado toast. And the smoothie made with yogurt, honey, avocado and a dash of espresso. It looks grayish, but ignore that, as it is very tasty. The coffee is really excellent. And I now find myself buying a pound to bring back. I've found that it brews nicely with an Aeropress and with a Chemex. Different methods of extraction but both are enjoyable. I default to the standard James Hoffmann recipe for the Aeropress, alternating with the Jonathon Gagne recipe. For Chemex, I use the FourSix method. Highly highly recommended.
