Let me tell you had great this place is. I asked my dad if he wanted to go to a Globetrotter's game for his birthday and he said no and wanted to come back up here. It really it a nice spot. The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable about their cigars; they have one to fit your taste every time you come. The location is perfect; close to suburbs yet still close enough to ATL and right off the interstate, but not so close that you have to deal with the congestion of having to turn in. The first time we came was just for cigars, the second time we actually got something to eat, and I have to say I was really impressed by the food and drinks. One drink and I had to sit a little bit because the girl makes them strong, and I like my drinks strong! They also have live music; DJ on Friday and Band on Saturday if I am not mistaken. I have not had the chance to come for one of these events yet, but I already have a date planned soon. This is my new go to spot! read more

Great cigar spot that i can get to on the way home. TVs everywhere so i never miss a football game. Awesome selection of cigars and bartenders do a great job and making drinks not on the list (French 75s) Also enjoyed the food when i stay long enough. Walked in to get some wings and as greeted by both bartender and server. I asked if I can order some food to go. I was told yes but sat at the bar 15 mins because there was no bartender around to take my order. Smh they have to do better with time management. U get a 1 for having me wait. The wings r good tho. I've been to Acere 2 times now. The first time was a fraternity event so it was an automatic great time. The second time was last night Saturday. The live music was awesome. Customer service is top notch. Staff is friendly and responsive. The drinks are not watered down and they were served as ordered. The only thing that could be improved is that waitresses could come and take drink orders at the table. I had to move to the bar to get service. It wasn't a big issue for me since people I was with were sitting at the bar. However no one ever came and inquired at the table. Love the vibe of this place and will definitely be coming more frequently. read more

To say Acere is like Cheers would be an understatement. I started attending Acere around the Feb/March of 2019. BT and Biggs welcomed me from the start and it's been like home ever since. As covid grew and Douglas county became one of the last to shutdown, I found myself there many weeks almost every night. Now mind you I lived 40 minutes away but it was worth the drive. BT and Biggs are very knowledgeable about cigars, and I've seen the humidor expand sometimes solely based on the wishes of some of the "Regulars". Because of the Home that Acere has become, I've celebrated friends' birthdays, seen a Marine celebration and had some of the best times with an awesome group of Men. BT also opened his doors to weekly a podcast that started from just a group of us discussing issues in the Black community. I've also been able to see the support they've shown to other Black owned cigar lounges in Atlanta. I've recently had to move away but I know I still have a home at Acere. If you're ever in Lithia Springs, hell even if you're not, do yourself a favor and stop in to Acere. From the food, service, drinks, cigars and most importantly the Vibe, you won't regret it. Acere Cigar is where you want to be at everyday. It's never a dull moment. Everyone from the owner down to the staff is great. They definitely know how to make your first time experience not your last. Soon as you enter the place you're greeted by the owner, staff or even the members. Lol I'm not kidding. Very nice spot, no drama, great cigar selections, food on point. BUT, the bartender is HORRIBLE. Drinks were watered down and other drinks were straight cheap liquor. Started off with uncle nearest 1856 and ginger beer....everyone in the group had 5 drinks and still no buzz. (We are not alcoholics. Lol) Got a long island iced tea and had to request ingredients to calm it down because it was all cheap liquor. Friend asked for a liquid marijuana and that was horrible. Our waitress was Mia and she was fabulous. Would have been a great experience but you are better off drinking before you go. read more

I am not rating the cigar experience- I elected to try their food as a take out patron. It was awful- got the blackened Maui with fries and Philly steakhouse rolls. The fish was way over cooked and dry and the steak egg rolls were greasy. My husband and I took a few bites and immediately had to wash it down and away with Alka-Seltzer. I mean yuck!!! read more
