Totally unexpected and random speakeasy. We were staying at The Ritz during the Peach Bowl and after the game, we knew that everywhere downtown would be packed and we were right. Being that the game was on New years day, a few places were closed. After going by three establishments, we stopped by Amalfi and were quoted with a 2 hour wait. While standing in the stairwell checking Opentable and Resy for reservations, we were approached by someone that shared a college affiliation with a member of my party. We were then offered a chance to come to the speakeasy where they shared the same menu as Amalfi! What a stroke of luck! We exited Amalfi and entered the "red phone booth" outside, entered the code and were granted access. I cannot stand strong smoke, especially cigarettes and while too much cigar smoke can affect me, I got over it and enjoyed our time in this super cool spot. After a while, I did not smell anything, however, the next day, my clothes and my hair did not let me forget. This place is pre-prohibition which I love.
