My dryer was not drying at all. I made a maintenance ticket and after realizing that replacing the dryer did not solve the issue, their management team called in specialists to clean clogged vent. Extremely Noisy! There is a lot of noise around the clock due to the loud mufflers, yappy dogs and constant maintenance yelling and doing their work early in the morning (they were just cutting trees at 7am) and they are very inconsiderate to the tenants they have left (seems like a lot are moving out in the last year). Also, security issues aren't handled well because when my car was stolen here six months ago they won't allow me to view the cam footage in the front of apartments, keep saying that it's an IT thing. When I complained to the front office about one of the tenants setting off loud bomb like fireworks a week ago, the girl denied it was happening the next day. The units aren't luxury either, just a typical Vegas apartment with a nice gym and decent pool. If you like quiet, you can forget about it because there's also a middle school across the street and you can hear them on the loud speaker early in the mornings during the school year. I would recommend finding a quieter community and regret my time here because I get very little peace and hardly sleep a wink. read more

I have lived here for a few months. The managers Emily and Rose are awesome. They always answer the phone and are pleasant to talk to. After my horrible experience at the Clubs at Rhodes Ranch, Emily is ALWAYS making sure that my son and I are doing ok. I really appreciate this. The grounds are relatively clean. People seem to clean up after their pets. It is also pretty quiet here. There are 2 downsides that I can see right now. One is that people are leaving their clothes, garbage, water bottles all around the pool. This is NOT a knock on the facility or management but on the tenants. Please be respectful and clean up after yourselves. The 2nd is the fact that people are allowed to smoke cigarettes here. I am allergic to cigarettes and loath them. I can deal with people smoking cigarettes here but being able to smoke at the pool is outrageous! Again with the exception of the cigarette smoke, this is a great place to live. read more

absolutely worst experience of my life. I lived here for three years. The management was very unprofessional purposely avoiding you on the phones if you had any questions, delaying and maintenance or not arriving at all and have no accountability of appointment set for maintenance. Honestly, one star is given this place some credibility if I can give it negative I would, so hopefully this doesn't read the reviews. Just know that all lies. This is not a good place to live. Not a great community. Everybody is cut off. once I moved out, I was told I'd be getting my safety deposit check which is up to two grand by the way supposed to be mailed out to me. Never got any tracking number receipt or evidence that I had my check sent out to me and had to call a month to have one re-issued because nothing got sent out and there was no proof of anything, but they were so quick to charge me for being late on letting them know my move out day on top of creating extra fees and never explaining them. Unbelievable f this place. and don't ever speak to Loretta and Stout management. she was absolutely no help and had so much attitude but hey, I'm just the one missing $2000 right? read more

First off Emily was FANTASTIC and we were saddened to find out when management had switched over without zero communication of this change to residents.. For the most part our 13 months at Acerno was great. It is quiet, mostly clean, and most importantly feels very safe (despite the fact that the "security" gates were constantly broken for the duration of our lease). However... and maybe it was only because we were in a first floor unit, but we experienced a GROSS amount of bugs from around May-October. I'm talking HUGE roaches, crickets, earwigs (pincer bugs), and roly-polys. Which is awesome when you have a curious 2 year old who wants to eat and play with them all Sadly they have attempted to raise our rent by nearly $200 upon the renewal of our lease. And we're not the only ones, there have been emptying units nearly every weekend for months and now I see why. They did offer to lower the raise in price, but honestly we might as well be at a brand new renovated complex for what we'd paying. Old maintenance team was fantastic, which I believe they have also mostly replaced besides 1. And I've yet to see any resident appreciation events or communication from new management...no returned voice messages, no newsletters, absolutely nothing. OH and you can no longer pay rent online which is SUPER convenient If you don't mind paying higher prices for a simply quieter, pretty spacious area, then by all means check this place out. We are extremely sad to have to leave on all of these conditions as we were looking forward to spending at least a couple of years here initially. read more

I love this community; these are great apartments in a great area of Las Vegas that's quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Acerno Villas is clean, safe, and well maintained. The apartments are spacious and the amenities are excellent! The Maintenance (Alfredo, Maintenance Mgr.) and the Office Staff (Don, Community Mgr. & Stephanie, Leasing Agent) are always friendly, responsive, incredibly helpful, prompt, and professional! I've been very satisfied with the quality of resident care and service that Acerno Villas and its employees have offered me. Your home is supposed to be a place you can relax. We just weren't able to do that here. Our downstairs neighbors constantly blasted their music all hours of the day and night. From our first day we couldn't wait until our year lease was up so we could move. We weren't able to open our balcony doors because their weed smoke was constantly drifting up to our apartment. On one occasion our downstairs neighbors caught the bushes outside our apartment on fire. I managed to break the glass on several fire extinguishers and out the fire out before any major damage was done. On several occasions we had ordered a package. It was delivered to the office where they would hold it but never notify you that they had it. They have areas set aside for your pets to relieve themselves, but many times they failed to provide the plastic doggy waste baggies. So of course there would be an excessive pet poo accumulation. On the positive side....the staff is friendly and the maintenance crew is quick to fix any problems. It's also a nice side if town. The staff here really should pay more attention to loud tenants and take action to keep the property quiet. read more

You won't find another place like this... guaranteed! I'm a big researcher and prior to deciding on where to live, I had looked at MANY other properties all over the west side of the 15. Acerno Villas was actually the very first property I had looked at and was blown away by what I found and felt right at home almost immediately after being taken on a tour by Yathaly. I have to say that I assumed that because this was my very first property to look at, all the others would be providing a similar experience so I let her know that I would get back to her and had a bunch of other places to look at. Wow... was I let down by all the other places. I can really say and put it bluntly that the Acerno Villas really stands out like a diamond reflecting in the rough and you won't find anything else out there like it... For starters, you have the amazing, friendly, personable, funny, respectful, compassionate can-do attitudes from Yathaly and Emily who are there for you and do an incredible job representing the property. One of them are almost always around during business hours and people will regularly go out of their way to stop in and say hi just because. Can you tell me of a place you've lived where people will go out of their way to do such a thing? I know I can't name a place. To give you an example as to why that is, here's just one of the most recent things they have done: The property is currently getting brand new pavement put in where all the cars park. Although they have taken the time to put out flyers alerting residents now for weeks before by the mail room, on people's car windshields and on residents doors, they STILL went ahead and called up each person individually a couple of days before and actually talked to them and reminded them of the pavement being put in and reminding them to move their cars. I can't imagine how much time that would've taken to call every person (and I got two calls... one vm on one day and then a call the following day) none of which was an automated recording. Then, on top of that I heard that there were still some residents that I guess forgot about this and were going to have their car towed but Yathaly and Emily being who they are actually went above and beyond and knocked on the residents doors to remind them and ask them to move their vehicle and saved the day. Talk about dedication, integrity and caring. They both have been so supportive since I've been living here and really make the living experience that much more enjoyable, comfortable and like home. I also want to mention that Alfredo and Mark who do a lot of the maintenance have also been the same and play an integral part in keeping the place looking good and are just as friendly and awesome. The property grounds are very nice with lot's of trees, grass and foliage that is well kept and maintained all the time. Sometimes I forget that I'm living in a desert because of how nice the property grounds are. I also really enjoy waking up in the morning and drinking some coffee on the balcony and looking out into the green courtyard area. The property is quiet and is filled with great tenants that live here. Everyone gets along very well and when people gather at the pool, everyone is very friendly and talkative. The consistency and optimism seems to be contagious here and the good-vibes linger in the air all around the property. All in all, you'll really get a good sense and feeling when you come here to visit the property and if you are looking for a place to move to, for the price, location, the staff, all the amenities and everything else that comes with it, you really won't find anything better out there. Initially what brought me to Acerno Villas was the great location, secluded on Maule only adjacent to one thing- a middle school; and the small size of the complex compared to other apartments. I figured a smaller building count would mean more attention from the maintenence and staff. And I was right! Emily and Yathaly, the office management, are the most friendly and dependable office management I've encountered. Along with the hard working maintenance who always have time for you, Acerno should be on your list of apartments to check out for new renters or someone looking to relocate. Lived here for a few years and honestly the 4 star rating isn't accurate. In the time I was here they've raised the rent a few times, they find ways to take more money from you by creating new "fees" to be implemented, the apartments themselves aren't very modern or "luxury" as they try to claim; the layout is actually mediocre and makes the apartment feel small, and within the apartment nothing about the brown wood cabinets, or the cheap looking hardwood floor, or the very basic bathrooms is worth the "luxury" price they're charging you. On top of that, the front office people are HARDLY EVER in their office during the hours that they say they should be; whether you need to speak with them over the phone, or whether you drop by the office during their business hours, they are never available to get ahold of to discuss your important matters. They don't have any child or pet friendly anything on the property, not a play area for kids, not a designated outdoor area for pets, all in all what they charge for what you get is ridiculous and they will absolutely find a way to rip you off here. read more

Acerno Villas is the best place to live in the Las Vegas area. Don't listen to the bad reviews. They are totally wrong and are probably those few trouble makers you see in apartment complexes. Here at Acerno Villas they treat each resident or future resident like they are VIP's. Brandy and Yatalie are the best! They are very professional, happy to answer any questions or concerns, and always willing to assist you. The maintenance staff is great, professional, and quick to fix anything that goes wrong. This is a quiet, clean, family oriented property. Everyone looks out for each other. The complex is well maintained and very secure. I have never felt unsafe here with the close knit community, management, other employees, as well as gated entry. Back in 2009 my husband and I lived here and it was awesome living here back then. We moved to help family out due too a family member passing but, once things were better we decided to move. When we were apartment hunting, it went no further than Acerno Villas. We knew it was well priced, the apartments are beautiful, the complex is very safe and clean, there are many amenities, they are very quick to fix any issues, and the staff is AWESOME!! When coming in to rent at Acerno Villas we noticed a new staff. The old staff was awesome but, the new staff is exceptional. We knew were we gonna love living here even more than before. I have never in my renting history ever felt so welcomed. Almost all rental properties treat you like your nothing and just want your money. That certainly isn't that way here at Acerno Villas! Acerno Villas treats everyone equally, you are very important to them, and they want you to be very happy living here. I can't say enough good things about Acerno Villas but, I will end with this. My husband and I have always wanted to live in a home we own but, we have gotten so picky that, that dream is taking time. From the moment I came to look at this property, I never felt more at home. Looking back that was almost a year ago and the feeling has never changed! Emily and Yathaly are two of the sweetest ladies I have ever met! My unit was amazing when I moved in and any and every service request has been completed with speed and a smile by the maintenance crew! This team never misses a beat, and I have never once second guessed my choice to move here. Emily has been a real one helping me with the process and answering all my dumbass questions when I tell you she'll work with you. SHE WILL WORK WITH YOU. On move in day I met the wonderful Yathaly who was super nice as well and helped me settle in and like let me know all the good spot in the area. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. I came across Acerno VIllas when I was looking for a place to live. I searched a lot of places. I took a tour of the apartment complex one afternoon while on my lunch break. I was taken back at how nice the complex was and there was even a nice 1 bedroom in my price range that overlooked the pool. The apartments seemed great, on the up and up and the management seemed very responsive about maintenance requests etc. As the one year mark approached my girlfriend and I started to notice and overall change in the complex. Seemed to start seeing a lot of people wandering around, and using the pool who clearly didn't live here. The general vibe of the place seemed to go down hill from what we could tell, seemed as though they just started letting anyone move... perhaps due to the economy they just needed to fill the apartments. I still renewed my lease, only for 6 more months this time around due to work obligations. Hoping that this place cleans up a little and they some how are able to monitor the real residents compared to the people just coming here to use our pool. read more

The time I lived in Acerno Villas during my stay in Las Vegas finally felt like home. It is a quiet community, I spoke to my friendly neighbors regularly, parking was abundant, they are pet friendly (Make sure you pick up after your dog. There are plenty of doggy poo areas) but most importantly the staff is incomparable to any I've dealt with. Thank you Brandy, Yathaly, Mark and Alfredo. I completely trusted them. They are understanding, work quickly to resolve any minor issues (I never had any major issues, a clogged drain with hair, a broken vertical blind...), and most of all they are friendly. The staff is superb and the property is so nicely maintained and cleaned and in such a private area that isn't too over crowded (we recently moved from the bay area). We love the fact that we dont have to hunt for parking anymore!!!! My boyfriend and I knew this was the place to stay at after we toured the whole facility. We love the quickness in maintenance service and how Yathaly and Brandy are always on top of any issue that comes up. We have NO complaints what so ever! All my questions, concerns and small issues have been addressed immediately by Yathaly, Emily, Mark and Alfredo. Mark and Alfredo, the maintenance guys, get my special appreciation and respect. They are not only friendly, postive, respectful and great all around, but they are also very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. If I have any maintenance issue, they are quick to fix it with a smile and explanation that I can understand. There has never been an occasion when my maintenance needs have not been met in a perfect manner. These two guys work hard day in and day out, even after hours! Have lived here since 01/2014 and so far, overall experience has been pretty good. All the staff that I've come in contact with (management, and custodial) have been kind, considerate and helpful. Paperwork was processed in less than 48 hours and move-in was hassle-free. Did have issues with the refrigerator, which was promptly replaced in less than 2 hours of my reporting it; the crew that handled the work order was friendly and expedient. The grounds are well-maintained, the pool, bbq and grassy areas are clean and the complex itself is quiet. Office staff also sign and hold packages for residents, which is of great convenience for me. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! These people are so unreasonable you will regret it if you move in. FIRST of all, they lack communication; SECOND, they lack MANNERS!!!! Very very rude, I thought Amy was bad, but Michelle the new manager, is beyond RUDE! You don't believe me?! Speak to her in person then you will know, probably not when you are just about to move in if they want your business, but if you are already moved in, then try to speak to her about an existing issue, SHE WON'T LET YOU TALK!!! A HORRIBLE listener! THIRD, don't expect flexibilities, they won't work around you, it's their way or the highway, so make sure you check everything when you move in, because they WILL charge you for something you didn't mark on that checklist, even though if it's WORKABLE!! So mark down the scratches on the sink, mark down the discoloration on the wall, EVERYTHING you can see, write them down!!! FOUR, the traffic is a nightmare!! There's only a 2-way stop when you exit, so you have to yield for traffic on both sides left and right; during school hours, the only chance you get to drive across the street is when the kids cross the street so it forces the traffic on both sides to stop. Overall, I rather deal with the horrible traffic than horrible customer service, which these people definitely need to self evaluate - how can a manager be more bitchy than her own staff?!!! STAY AWAY!! Because you will regret it if you don't! read more

I've lived at Acerno Villas for a few months now and my cat and I LOVE IT here. I looked all over the place to find a quiet, spacious two bedroom apartment with a full size washer/dryer walk in laundry room not in the kitchen, a large master with a balcony attached, walk in closets, large bathrooms and bathtubs, lots of kitchen counter space, and an amazing view of the west Vegas mountains. The walls are painted a warm beige and the place looked nearly brand new when I moved in. The management team has been great- I love that they are not "crazy" or "picky" about what I can or cannot have on my balcony and they don't police you like I've experienced elsewhere. The maintenence guys are the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. There is plenty of guest parking. It's super convenient to be able to pay my rent online and not have to drop off a check. I really can't complain about anything here except maybe the fact that the walls are pretty thin and I can hear my neighbors sometimes- but I can sleep through anything and it doesn't really bother me. I wake up every day and am reminded how happy I am that I live here. If any of this changes then I will certainly update my review- but for now, I'd definitely recommend it! read more

We are moving out after staying here for over a year. It has been a pleasure living in a Acerno Villas. One of the best parts was this place is very quiet. We have enjoyed the peace and tranquility of our one-bedroom apartment. The staff here Brandy and Yathaly have been very accommodating and has worked with us a lot on moving in and even moving out. They could have been harsh and charged us for a lot of extra things if they wanted to. But they were very compassionate and understanding. The clubhouse is very professional and all of the staff has been wonderful. The price was very reasonable for being in the Southwest location. You also have a lot of shops and grocery stores near by and the freeway is less than a mile from the apartments. With plenty of gas stations and little shops to go eat this is a perfect location for just a single bedroom or small family. Nothing but a great overall experience! read more
