This is a great barbershop. In every sense of the term barbershop. From the amazing front office staff (props to Beth she's the best- get on her good you're set for life...) to all the barbers there. My personal barber who also cuts my son's hair is Steve. To be clear I have had my haircut by four or five other barbers here, and all were five out of five excellent. The reason why I go to Steve and only Steve for all my haircuts and beard trims is because: he's honest, he's funnier than hell, he gives good suggestions for style, he's super good to my kid, and he's fast and does a remarkable job every time that is consistent. I struggled for years in Florida to find a consistent Barber shop, and most importantly, a consistent Barber. Ever since I found cases, and then the gentleman who used to cut my hair, who is no longer with the company no showed, I met Steve. I instantly liked the guy, like I said he's funnier than how, the whole crew treats you like family and there is always some discussion or debate going on. They do excellent work, and do not overcharge for their services every single time I go it's five stars across the board. read more

Shawna has been cutting my hair since 2006 when I was in high school. She is also the only barber to have touched my son's head! And he's 6 now. Ive never had a reason to consider any other shop, as the cuts are always super tight and they always make time to get my son and I in! Plus Shawna and George are very good people, personable and just a place you can go to relax and feel a part of. Beth deserves recognition to for holding down the front end! Came near the end of the day with a walk-in. Was seated immediately and the guy who did my cut was cool. Did a great job on the beard (super fresh and clean) and a pretty good job on the haircut. The others in the shop seemed gregarious as well, they def enjoy working there (can't say that for all barber shops haha). I stopped here because it is close to work, and closes at 7pm. Great for if you need a cut after work. Lots of tvs and lots of neon around the mirrors. Shawnna gave me a great cut. I asked for a 1.5 buzz all around, but she recommended a fade. While subtle, it does look dramatically different than a traditional buzz. I like it a lot. And I love a straight razor neck shave. I recommend you make an appointment because they seemed pretty booked for a Monday. However, if you have to wait, they do have an Xbox lounge area in the back. I have to take a star off for cash only, given that it is 2015 (and this place seemed pretty wired with tvs, iPads, etc.). However, they do have an atm in the back with a lower transaction fee ($1.70), but it was out of order tonight. I had to go to the outdoor atm at Wells Fargo just off of Glades. Kind of annoying, but I dealt with it. And they didn't hold my phone for collateral. The yelp part about accepts credit cards was incorrect (one of the reasons I came here in the first place was because yelp said they take cards - my bad). All in all I was out the door for $25 bucks ($20 for the cut and $5 for the tip) in about 15 minutes. read more

New to the area and came here because of good yelp reviews. I asked for a simple cut, and used a picture of my previous haircut for reference: short fade on sides and long on top. Ended up with splotches of hair in the back (not a good and even fade) and not feeling good about how my hair looks. The barber was rushed, even though there was nobody waiting, and did not pay attention to detail at all with the clippers. I asked for a redo and it is not much better. Everybody is really nice here but for $20 I can get a much better haircut. I still tipped. However, I regret my decision in coming here. Edit: Just realized my left and right sides of my head are not cut the same length. This sucks... Update: The owner contacted me tonight and asked me to come in for another haircut on the house. Favorite barbershop in the area. I live in Lighthouse Point and tried several barber shops here, Pompano and down in Fort Lauderdale but I prefer heading north into Boca to get a good cut. With my work schedule and travel being very random of when I can make it in, walk-ins are typically my only option but they've always gotten me in quickly. Because of being a walk-in, I have tried most all of their barbers now and can say that they're all skilled at what they do, pay attention to what you're looking for and deliver a good cut. Mood is always light and most likely will have a good laugh before you leave. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more

It was good experience, price was perfect. Haircut was nice. I've been back since and I asked twice for scissor cut and have been told that they couldn't do it. Until the 3rd time I was there a new barber did a combination which helped a lot more. So I'm not sure what the other barber couldn't do for me... anyways. My son got a haircut from Morgan here yesterday. The top of his hair is incredibly unevenly cut. And the hair laying over his forehead looks like he took a bowl, put it over his head and started chopping away. Morgan was more interested in going on his phone than giving my son a good quality haircut. And despite there being a global pandemic he was not wearing a face mask. I got there and he was sitting in his barbers chair without a mask and I thought that he would put one on as we approached him. He did not and was not wearing one the whole time. I was in the area and walked in for a quick haircut for both my boys, 5 and 3yrs old. I opted for a low cut (1/2 blade) all around and a shape up. Each hair cut took less than 15mins. I was in TOTAL shock when I was charged $20 for each! Never have I paid or heard of a $20 haircut for a child. Needless to say I will not be returning or recommending this shop.
