They had promised to cover the other side of the fence to prevent spraying on my neighbors' belongings... they did just the opposite. They painted some of the asphalt and brick under and around the fence; they painted my neighbors' belongings (scooters, recycling bin, downspout, etc) so I had to knock on their door and apologize! Unbelievably, that was done under the owner's supervision. We asked them to clean up our neighbors' things, which they attempted but were not completely successful and after that did not even offer a discount to compensate the neighbors for the upset. In addition, we asked them not to rush with the project given all the rain every single day (May 2015). They disregarded our wishes and painted despite all the rain. What's more, they did not inform us they were coming (what any professional contractor would do!). My final complaint is that I just stepped outside to the alley and noticed a trail of paint that runs to the next house. All in all, a total disrespect and a job that was anything but professional. If you hire them, you better supervise them but I don't recommend hiring them in the first place. Don't say I did not warn you.

What did not go well was the actual job. When it came to protecting the home and floors from over spray. Paint on the wood floors, paint on the gas fireplace, paint in the grout of the tile, paint on the shower glass, paint on door hinges and plates. They even lost some of the hinges and just hung the doors up without them. They attempted to come to the house and correct some of the issues and literally made it worse by getting espresso paint on our new carpet - we had to have the carpet in that area replaced. Alex was very kind and explained everything and gave us options. He sent us the estimate in a very timely organized manner. Once we chose to go with them Alex went over paint colors and gave ideas/suggestions. He was extremely patient while we waited 3 weeks for our HOA's approval(kind of crazy). Once approved they began within a week and power washed and the crew was here daily, prepping, painting and always left our home clean. They were extremely hard workers and braced the heatwave we had with ease(they made it look easy that is). The time they took in prep was amazing, they paid attention to every last detail. Once the job was complete Alex came and did a walk thru and looked at everything with us, making sure we were happy and nothing was missed. Our house looked beautiful and we have gotten tons of compliments. The thing that also stood out was his communication and we didn't pay him until the job was complete. There are way too many companies around here that collect and never show back up.
