I had the "makeover" roof package done. I haven't been up there, but as far as i can tell they did a good job. They cleaned the roof and dead zones, repaired or replaced the mud, and replaced any cracked or missing tiles. It was difficult to find a company who knew what i was asking for let alone had a designated "package". My roof is in great shape, it just needed to be spiffed up so it's ready for sale. GPS is easy to work with, very responsive and competitively priced, and stands behind their workmanship. In late 2018 I received two bids to patch and apply a new elastomeric coating on the roof of a home I had recently purchased. One of the bids came from a roofing contractor my realtor recommended and the other, GPS Remodeling, I picked from positive reviews on Yelp. I went with GPS because their cost was in line with what I had expected and considerably better than the first contractor who I thought was way overpriced. Normally I get three bids for a job, but in this case I felt it wasn't necessary after talking with George, the owner. Something in the way George presented himself and the work that was needed he convinced me he I could trust him. The work was completed on the schedule he proposed with no surprises. When I did my final inspection and called George with a few questions, he said he would stop over later that day so we could walk through my concerns. He came prepared to address everything I had any concern about on the spot, most of which in hindsight probably did not represent a real problem, but George was more interested in making sure I was fully satisfied. Lastly, 18 months later during an unusually wet and windy winter the tenant renting the house called the property manager to report some water leakage around a window. He sent out a roofing contractor to investigate, who came back with a proposal to re-coat the entire roof again. Not believing the contractor had diagnosed the problem correctly I called GPS back out. George was out within a day and came to a different conclusion that I thought made much better sense. Again he took care of the proposed fix on the spot without addressing whether it was a warranty issue under the original job or outside of the original scope. I believe it was outside. read more

They did a great job repainting the whole house. The price was not low but they did do a great job. One thing: before they start painting, be sure to indicate all fixtures, service panels, outlets etc. you don't want painted over. They'll cover just about everything except faucets otherwise. They left some touchup paint behind which I did not want so if you hire them and don't want the extra paint, tell them before they finish. read more

I'd highly recommend GPS Remodeling. Recently had leaking on the inside of the house after 2 valleys near our front entrance failed (was told from numerous companies this was very common with valley homes). While their were a couple communication issues initially, the job was quoted and came in similar or just under others. On top of that, George worked with me and gave me an additional discount which sent his bid well lower than the others. Work performed was quick and seems to have solved our leaks as it's rained twice since and all appears dry.
