Achieve Integrative help has finally been able to help my son with his constant pain. My son was in an accident three years ago when he broke his femur. He had to have a titanium rod inserted into his femur and four screws to keep it there. He broke it playing hockey and while he was able to return to hockey for a short while, he was still hurting a lot and it was never the same again. He continued to have intense pain. We did MRI and we did scans and he did physical therapy, chiropractic care with some acupuncture involved. He was still hurting. The acupuncture had helped some but the doctor he had been to had only done some of this and it was not the main focus of his practice. We were a little lost at this point as to why the pain was still there. We visited two pain management places of which one of them said he had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and they wanted to do something serious involving getting shots in his spine. He was 17 at the time! The second Pain Management doctor did not agree that it was full blown CRPS and said that he could try Nerve medication that had to be taken every day but he also referred us to Achieve Integrative Health and said we could try it. At this point we had pretty much tried all the things that Modern Medicine had to offer and we were left with giving our son strong narcotics or nerve medicines for his pain! As a last attempt we went to Achieve Integrative Health and I am so thankful for their efforts to help my son. Within the first assessment and three treatments my son is finally on his way to feeling less pain. I am so glad we tried it. I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroid disease in September 2016. After receiving my diagnosis, I researched any known cures besides surgery, unfortunately there was none. I decided to try alternative medicine and went to see Jimmy Yen. On my initial visit, we discussed the diagnosis and talked about the possibility that the outcome may not be the result I hoped for, shrinking the parathyroid tumor. Jimmy put me on a special diet, gave me Chinese herbs and did blood work throughout the treatment. When I was first diagnosed, my endocrinologist discovered a nodule on my thyroid as well. My treatment with Jimmy gave me a lot of benefits, I lost 14 lbs, I learned how to really look at the food I was putting in my body and make healthier decisions, kidney and liver issues were cleared up and the nodule on my thyroid shrunk! But the parathyroid tumor didn't and I will have to have surgery to remove it. Although my outcome wasn't what I hoped for, I knew going in that the tumor might not shrink. Jimmy is amazing for reversing diabetes and neuropathy. Both my father and grandfather are diabetics, and I was getting symptoms of pre-diabetes. Woohoo! As good as it gets and then some. I know Jimmy Yen as a great instructor. I took his 'Conquering Type 2 Diabetes' webinar. I was very impressed by the way he explains things. One of the most intriguing was the way he explained the working of Thyroid. I have never been able to fully understand this all throughout my school and after. But Jimmy's explanation enlightened me in this subject. There were also many other information that enlightened me because of the way he explains it: the cause of diabetes, why there is vasoconstriction in chronic inflammation, etc. were just a couple of them. Overall he is very sharp and knowledgable in what he is talking about. He seems like he truly believes in what he is saying. Only people of true knowledge can be so confident in what they are saying. I started seeing Jimmy for a sluggish menstrual cycle and it only took 1 treatment to get things back on track. Also, I did not go in for TMJ issues but after one treatment my jaw pain went away too.
