Typically I say "No thanks" to anyone handing out flyers (living in Vegas). but with no great prospects for things to do on the boardwalk, I paid the $20, grabbed a slice of pizza and joined the audience. Seating was nice and intimate (yet spaced out). There were no drink minimums (loved that!) and awesome music playing before the show. There were 4 comedians and the show lasted almost 2 hours. I enjoyed each set and laughed quite a bit. Go check em out!

The Music Box is located alongside the casino near the Borgata buffet. The location makes it very easy to enter comfortably right before showtime. The Music Box is not Borgata's main showroom, but instead a medium size venue with about 1000 seats. There are floor seats and elevated seating to suit most people's needs. You'll get a great view and sound from just about anywhere. If you're seeing a rock band, the first few floor seat rows to the side of stage may be too close to the speakers. They do have a bar within the theater with basic drinks. The venue is well-staffed with experienced help to ensure a smooth show.

It won't blow the minds of the average gambler or party animal, but it'll satisfy anyone just looking to drink away while staring into the abyss of table games and slot machines. It does sound a bit depressing, and that's even before the pandemic started. The bar itself is like many along the mega casino spectrum: chill most nights of the week with semi-friendly bartenders at the helm, with a lounge-like atmosphere and TVs playing in the background. There is of course the option to play some video poker along the counter and just enough seating on the bar and lots of designated seating along the edge. The draft selection is pretty standard mainstream stuff and the cocktails tend to sway on the sweeter side. There was a point in time where they would offer happy hour twice a day (morning and late afternoon) for half priced cocktails, beers, and wine. Since they were pricier, it may not seem like much of a deal for a bar outside of the casino, but within? It's pretty good. Obviously, this isn't a destination bar but one that works well for meeting up with folks, drowning one's sorrows from a serious gambling loss, or killing time with drinks because there's nothing else happening in the place. It is however, very much ingrained in the fabric of the casino and one that hopefully will get better in time.

The bar scene itself is ok, kinda clustered if you are sitting at the bar. You have touch screen poker blocking a majority of that space. I know I love touching a sticky screen or buttons because of the spillage of drinks getting in the way . Could this be a dive bar located inside of a casino? I am not sure though they do have good draft selections , all the liquors from what I have seen, with plenty of TVs to look at. The bartender I give him credit though, he did show a great deal of patience while I was there. I love the stumblers that came in there and started hitting the machines trying to put money in where the comp cards go. He made sure though your drinks were good, asking if you were ready for a refill. In all for a minor escape from the hum of the slot machines being played this is a pretty good stop to enjoy a libation or two.

This visit was Pre-Covid…read more Overall, the food is delicious. The portions are on the smaller side, but they do know how to cook what they offer, I will give them that. Server was friendly but overbearingly trying to make you order and order and order. You could tell that the only thing on her mind was raising the bill so she could get a better tip. There are better ways you can do this without making it too obvious, but obviously she wasn't taught or trained in those subtle ways. We didn't know that they closed at 8 on the weekends, and when it turned 8, they turned on all the lights. I was quite caught off guard by that, because having worked in fine dining, you give your guests at least a 15 minutes grace period to enjoy their meal. Especially at a spot like the Seven Star Lounge. The most surprising thing that happened was a few minutes after 8pm, I think it was a little past 8:05, one of their employees didn't just whisper, or say it, but they actually yelled out onto the floor, "Ok, time to go home!" If you were that intent on going home, then you shouldn't have received any guests. We had no idea they closed at 8, otherwise we wouldn't have come in, but they told us it was last call when we sat down, and they said it would be fine as long as we ordered our food right away, which we did. They close at 8. They turn on their lights at 8, and a few minutes later, an employee calls out something very rude, and inappropriate. And we had received our food at 7:50pm, and quite a lot of food, because our server was intent on getting our bill high. So I can't understand how a customer orders a lot of food, you bring it out 10 minutes before closing, and then you turn on all the lights, and yell out inappropriate remarks. Then our server came over and brought us plastic cups so we could put our cocktails in it, trying to rush us out. In 20 years of customer service related businesses, I have never seen such rude and unprofessional behavior, especially in a business that is supposed to be as high end as Seven Stars. We always enjoyed dining here, but this was obviously our last trip. Between my wife and I, the pictures I posted are what the two of us ordered! Yet they give us 10 minutes to enjoy our meals! It's a real shame too, because we love the vibe and the ambiance here, and we were really, really enjoying ourselves, but for TEN MINUTES!! LOL! What a world we live in. I give 4.5 stars for the taste of the food. 1 Star for the server. 0 Stars for the staff as a whole. The food is the only reason they are getting 2 stars. Of course the Pageant has since moved on from Atlantic City. No beers on tap at this bar. And no local bottled craft beers. Just the boring bottled beer selection that most bars carry. Plus all of the normal booze. Had a dirty vodka martini with Ketel one. Was a decent martini. And expensive.
