Very funny show. If you sit right in the front row, buckle up. You will be picked on. All the comedians brought something different to the table. My husband and I both laughed throughout the entire show. It is hard to do comedy in a time where most of the comedy inspiration comes from politics, but you have to stay clear from that due to the fragility of so many viewers. And these three comedians pulled it off without going there. Awesome show. read more

Was in Atlantic city for the weekend and my wife and I went to the club for drinks and a laugh. There were four comedians on that night and they didn't disappoint. Price of drinks weren't bad and we laugh the couple hours away we were there. We go to AC couple times a year and will go back for a laugh. read more

We saw this comedy show in Resorts. The theater itself was nice with little tables to put your drinks on. The comedians were late so the show started at 8:20 instead of 8. The first two comedians were okay, but not that funny. Gary Garcia was really funny and had us cracking up. Only the joke about killing the kids when they turn 12 wasn't funny, but the rest of his act was. read more

I went on a Monday, which in Atlantic City nothing is really open bar/club wise. Choosing to go to ACJokes did NOT disappoint. The comedian line up had about 3/4 people who were very funny and entertaining. I went to a different comedy club after this and was not as good as the one in Atlantic City! read more

I went to the show in the Blue Martini in Ballys in mid June. The place is small and the chairs were lined on top of one another and they wanted you to not leave a chair empty between people. I don't know why because the place was about a quarter full. My friend and I had comp tix (I believe most did). Comp tix were white and paid tix were red. My friend's hubby decided to come with us at the last minute and had to buy his ticket for $25. What a complete waste of money. I LOVE comedy, but this was awful! There were 5 comedians. My friends and I left after the second (intermission). I believe most people did not return after the 10 minute "bathroom break". One comedian cursed unnecessarily and was vulgar...I'm not a prude by no means, but it wasn't even funny! The other went down an emotional rabbit hole after sharing that a friend suddenly passed away and preached on that we should appreciate our loved ones yadda yadda...and never came back out. I was embarrassed for these gents that received little-to-no laughs but heckles instead. It was beyond uncomfortable. read more

Ray was the best. Connor has potential to be a great comedian. Didn't like Zach laughed a little with him but just.disnt find him funny. We will be back to see if it improved any only thing we lost was time and the money from the expensive drinks at the door. My fiancé & I were trying to find something to do as we were walking on the broad walk. As we were walking by Bally's. Craig (one of the comedians) had Stop us and sold us some tickets. It was so worth it! I laughed for the entire show! It was a total of 4 comedians & 1 host. & even the host was hilarious! The location is perfect too. I also give it up to the bartender there. This is my fifth time back to watch the crew of AC Jokes on stage and for the first time I was Disappointed. 1st and most importantly... Where was the Host Zach Pickett??? He was on the web site as the host and always moves the show along as a seasoned pro. The replacement host of the show, Petey Rancel, was way off the mark. For someone who performed a lot, he was nervous and hanging by a thread most the night as the audience struggled to follow along. He did a lot of yelling and used Cuban jokes that I've heard for years by other comedians. He tried to interact with the audience but mostly failed attempts. Not a great way to prepare a crowd for its comedians. Gary Garcia was on point. Hitting beats and keeping a good tempo. He had his work cut out for him as I felt the audience's energy level lacking from the opening of the night but he did his thing! His set went quick due to his rhythm and timing of punch lines. I saw the crowd finally get on the roller coaster of comedy and enjoyed the ride from there on. Brian Steadman was enjoyable and handled the work of following the great act of Gary Garcia. He has a relatable face and smile which lured the audience in and kept them laughing through out. Closing the show was Buda the Comedian. With a Mix of physical and sharp witted observation comedy, the crowd laughed there way to till the lights came back on. In closing, the show provided a nice steady laugh and I will definitely go back but I would ask those who run this established comedy team, please keep audience informed of changes...especially when it is one of the fan favorites. read more

We went to see this comedy show at the Kiss Kiss Club in Tropicana, AC. The 3 comedians there were hilarious. We laughed the entire time with Ray Vazquez, Zach Pickett and Buda as the 3 comedians that night. It was definitely worth the time and money spent to see the show. comedians suck. felt like i was at an AA and rehab meeting. 100 bucks for 1 cosmo and 2 jacks on the rocks. WTF. 9 bucks for ice cubes. Are you kidding? We came a year ago and it was a little better. but now it just was horrible! 90 minutes pf my life i will never get back. 1st time i was at a comedy show and no one laughs but the comedian. Craig Fox is a genius of dry, Todd Barry style comedy. Craig was utterly fantastic. Zach Pickert was really funny too. Zach had a solid, manic, observation style comedy that was well done and dirty as hell. Petey Rancel has to work on his act and timing, its off. Dude straight up stole Cuban immigrant jokes/stories from Joey Diaz, like word for word. Gary Garcia was "headlining" and I know he's a "legend" but he was off his game. And begging for tips after his set and on the way out? Not cool. Bad night? I don't know. We paid full price, do yourself a favor and get the Groupon. Glad we went, got to discover Craig Fox. While my husband I were in AC, we walked into Cesar's Pier and noticed that most of the previous stores are gone since the last time that we were there! While we were walking around, one of the comedians from the AC Jokes Comedy Club stopped by and hooked us up with 2 tickets to see a show which was scheduled to start within a few minutes. We didn't have any plans so we decided to go. There were only a handful of people in the comedy club when we arrived. A few of them arrived later. The show was hilarious and I enjoyed the comedians. Went May 2nd. All 4 comedians were the worst I've ever heard. No planned jokes. I'm not a prude and have been going to shows for years. All talked off the cuff to audience, making repetitive comments about drugs and female crotch. Wish I'd left early. boring, offensive and not funny. read more

My buddy Jonesy, who also does stand-up comedy, but in New York, took us to the comedy show here. This is the location inside Bally's Casino. I liked it better than the Borgata comedy show because it is a medium sized venue, and you can sit closer to the stage. All of the comedians were really funny. I heard Matt Bridgestone, Zach Pickert, Gary Garcia, Petey Rancel, and Tait Winston. The funniest one out of the group was Tait, in my opinion. None of them were too vulgar or abusive to the audience. It was good entertainment other than gambling, drinking, and food in Atlantic City. The only thing is that the show ran close to 2 hours, and I started to drift towards the end, but that wasn't too bad. Maybe there could have been a female comedienne, too, just to vary things up. read more

I was in AC looking for something to do since it's a ghost town, casinos, restaurants pretty much closed. Decided to go to the show which could have been better. Got hit with the pan handling approach to buy tickets.. Kinda got sold a bill of goods by one of the comedians. I feel sorry for these guys trying to make a living but as Josie Wales said" Dying ain't much of a living" Sorry to see someone's personal view of comedy fly thru the air and not get picked up. Humor is not funny if the crowd is not getting your jokes on racism and sexism. The original Buddha was at peace with himself. Not this guy. He thought repeating his punch lines louder and louder would make the joke work, not so much.. I guess the show beat sitting in an empty casino....maybe not. As the comics moved on one after the other there was about 5 lines within the 4 comedians that was maybe funny?? I won't go into the last person ( I would not say performer) His approach was really bad and in poor taste. A dry fart has more comedic approach. read more

At the Tropicana on Tuesday October 6th with my friend for his 85th bday. The asshole comic decided to pick on us. He called me abe vigoda and said I was there as my friends bed buddy. He didn't use quite the same words. The guy was never funny. I got into a shouting match with him and they refunded our money. How embarrassing and insulting. No apologies from the idiots running the booth. Garbage. Thanks for ruining the day read more

Not the most fancy of places, but small crowd, so you get involved with the performers, and it's inexpensive at $25. They had about 8 comedians, 15mins each. Everyone was decent to very good. For the price, you can't go wrong. I found it very fun. No drink enforcement. Average bar drink is $12. read more
