Best sandwich I've had since visiting Italy! Fresh, delicious and an inviting staff as well!!

Nooooooo! People are nasty!!!!! And there were hairs in most of the orders!!!!! Plus the OVERPRICING!!!! Sux!!!!!

Amazing sandwiches, focaccia bread, and salads here. Right off the Cape Cod bike path so you can stop if you're feeling peckish. The bread is on the softer, chewier side, perfect for loading up on the fillings. For a lighter lunch, I went with the beet and burrata salad with a side of the chicken cutlet and the combo of the beets with the cheese and the candied hazelnuts was amazing. I'll be thinking of this meal for a while. Also tried bites of my friends' Knotty Girl and Diamond Girl sandwiches - you honestly can't go wrong with whatever you decide on. Everything tasted so fresh and home-made. They also have lots of cheeses, including mozzarella, stracciatella, and a buttery burrata that came with the salad. Unfortunately, I can't eat too much of it without getting BAD stomach problems later on but everyone else enjoyed it. Huge parking lot, with some picnic tables and seats in the shade. Sandwiches were good and Fresh! Unique place with quality ingredients. Loved the Diamond girl on Focaccia. Service felt slow and then rushed when up to order. 25 minute wait for a fresh made sandwich. it IS expensive so keep that in mind. We also added a 5$ cutlet so that is probably why. The focaccia is to DIE for and they are very generous with meats. I will say the meatball sandwich was a BIT of a let down only because we expected more filling for such a high price (such as the other one). A unique sandwich spot in the heart of the Cape and right off the bike trail. The focaccia is to die for and you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches offered. They also have specials, local cheeses and homemade desserts. At almost 19$ for a sandwich, it's a bit pricy, but you can easily split it between 2 people. There is no indoor seating but there are tables outside. Looking forward to going back and trying another sandwich. read more

I had super high hopes for this place and was so excited to try it! I came in this morning around 10 am and beat the line which was nice. Waited about 15-20 minutes, which they kindly warned me about, for three sandwiches. To my own fault - I did not check the correct sandwiches were in the bag, only that there were three. I got home and realized I was given a wrong sandwich order. So had to go back to communicate that since their land line was going straight to VM. I went to the front and told them the situation. They took my whole order back, took the wrong sandwich back and gave me the correct order - the Mortadella Fella. Unfortunately my new sandwich wasn't even wrapped or taped shut, seems to have been just thrown in the bag. I have to say for a $16 sandwich the meat portion is lacking. Also in the thirty minutes from ordering and back from my two trips due to incorrect order, the Renegade is completely saturated and soggy. Overall I am bummed out on my first experience. Wow. Just a tremendous sandwich. Every ingredient is fresh and made in house. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Ordered a Chicken Caesar sandwich and got this pesto tomato sandwich for $19 instead. When I called they said it was a kitchen mixup, offered a $2 refund for sandwich I couldn't eat. OMG. the food is so good! Small shop near the bike train in Brewster. All sandwiches are made to order. Very busy shop even in the off season. All the bread and cheese is handmade on premises. First time in Cape Cod from NJ. Happened to be staying in Brewster and wanted a sandwich. A quick internet search showed this place with positive reviews. I am not exaggerating when I say, that was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life (The Jamie.) I ordered a second one for the following day before I even finished my first one. The fresh bread, cheese, and meats were all top tier quality and the workers were all super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. My only complaint is that it's not located where I live in NJ. This place is an absolute must-stop on any visit to Brewster. I came by this morning to pick up a few sandwiches and a salad for our trip home and every single morsel was gorgeous and delicious. I didn't think I would leave another review on Yelp after they took away my hard earned elite status but yet here I am because ACK needs to be acknowledged for by far the best chicken cutlet sandwich I have ever sunk my teeth into. The sandwich is called the Jamie and Jamie is amazing I am truly in love. The hot chicken cutlet with the prosciutto, home made pesto and cheese is simply the best combination of ingredients ever. Even cold this sandwich is to write home about. The flavors the melted cheese on ciabatta bread mmmmmmm delightful. The counter help very helpful in helping me pick this masterpiece, service with a big smile. Nice little gem tucked away in Brewster ma. big beautiful deck to eat out on. And did I mention the cannoli the ricotta was flavored to perfection sprinkled with powder sugar. People seem to think they are pricey all I can say it was worth every penny of it plus the tip. I also go the most amazing rosemary bread to go which again blew me away with flavor. I am so happy I live so close to this establishment because I will treat myself to the most amazing sandwiches as often as possible. As a sandwich lover, I would recommend ack gioia to everyone within a 1 hour drive. We tried the mortadella fella and a prosciutto with mozz cheese. Today I purchased a sandwich called Three Graces for $16.50. So very disappointed the sandwich was saturated with balsamic vinegar. The bread broke apart and was hard to taste anything but the vinegar. I called the shop and explained the situation and they made no effort to make up for it. We will not be returning. Improvement would be to lightly drizzle sandwich with good olive oil and sweet balsamic glaze, not vinegar! And when a customer calls to nicely explain and offer advice, staff should at least offer to make things right especially when sandwich is $16.50. read more
