We ordered Churrasco which was delicious. I love that they let me substitute fries for maduro. And they gave me their homemade spicy sauce which was delicious but mild. Meat was cooked well and flavorful. Most of the fish came out without bones but you still have to be careful. The fish was flaky and flavorful. The batter on the fish was light but crispy. Wished there was a sauce for the white rice. The salad red onion with lettuce, cilantro and tomatoes was great. We also ordered a Guava Tart with coconut on top. That was the bomb. This was an unexpected surprise as we explored a bit of the Mid Cape! We needed some coffee and a light bite late morning before we headed on our way and decided to check them out. The people here are so lovely and friendly. They make you feel at home immediately. I was hoping they'd have some empanadas which looked delicious online, but they didn't have any so we opted to sit down to have a couple coffees and some of their breads. I had high hopes for the coffee and it did not disappoint! My husbands black coffee was a delicious, strong brew, and my mocha was rich and chocolatey, and even included some adorable latte art! We really enjoyed the breads too. The bread itself is super light and fluffy, and the fillings are great too. We tried guava, ham and cheese, and corn. After an incredible cup of coffee, I enjoyed some 10 out of 10 empanadas and a plate of tripe and potatoes that brought me back to travels through Ecuador. We came here right before they close and the lady was nice enough to let up purchase. I got a slice of tiramisu for $5. It was good, but not a enough of coffee flavor. Cream was fluffy and yummy. Went to have a breakfast with my family. While other places on 28 were overcrowded, this one barely had two tables occupied when we came in. Menu had pictures which made ordering so much easier with kids and parents visiting from a different country. Food came out looking even better than photographs on the menu. Waitress never came back to check on our drinks, said nothing about a hold up in the kitchen or maybe "your meals will be right out" The menu touts a "tea infusion" which is really a Bigelow tea bag. The table behind us arrived 15 minutes after we ordered yet their meals of fried chicken came out while we waited an extra 10 minutes before deciding to leave. Not sure if we didnt have good service because we are not of Latin descent but it certainly felt that way, especially seeing the table behind us served so quickly.
