Cynthia, owner, patiently educated us on the next steps. Safelite says they don't recalibrate and my rear view mirror was attached to the glass. I made a deposit and retained McConnell to replace my windshield, and separately arranged to have…read moreanother business replace the tint. It would take about 1/2 day to get it all done. I had to take time off work. McConnell knew this. McConnell cancelled my appointment and gave me no effective advance notice; they let me know when I walked in the door for the appointment. It's 30 miles round-trip to their business. They have almost no customer wait area. There were thunderstorms in the area but when I arrived McConnell was open, customers going in and out of their business. The tint business next door and other area businesses, all open. Weather cleared up nicely as I drove home. I attempted to reschedule the install, but after a series of emails, it became clear McConnell was not trying to accommodate reschedule. They implied they might not refund my deposit. Finally, I quit playing their games and cancelled. They wasted my time and I lost a $20 tint deposit because of them. At least in this instance, they act like customer service, they could care less.
