Accurate Well and Pump - The current state of my yard (4/19) AFTER they supposedly "fixed" the issue (according to the response to my review)

Before committing to something that big, we decided to get a second opinion and called Accurate Well and Pump--and I am SO glad we did. Within just a few hours, they assessed everything and came back with a completely different (and much more reasonable) solution. Not only were they able to get our water back up and running for less than a third of what we were originally quoted, but the entire process was quick and stress-free. The estimate was done the same day, and the actual work was completed in just one day. They were incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. If you're dealing with well issues, do yourself a favor and call them before making any big decisions--you might save yourself a ton of money and stress like we did.

I explained we don't have water! Nope they don't care! So began searching and found Accurate Well and Pump! I explained what happened and they came out 10:00 am on Sunday morning when we had snow ! So happy and relieved! The workers were professional, fixed the problem and...... We got our water back! I would definitely recommend this company. Don't look any further!

The…read moreteam worked tirelessly , the work grueling, the amount of long days put in on my property to get us water was unreal. The team hit many obstacles , but worked tirelessly and relentlessly to deepen the well. The skillset of the team was quite impressive, I learned alot as the team kept us informed of the process. The staff took care of everything, all the necessary permits etc.Glenn and his company made our home habitable, because without water, no living. I wholeheartedly recommend Slater Accurate Well for any well issue, from the smallest to the biggest. And, as an added bonus ,they are so easy to work with. You can't go wrong with Slater!

So in a way I am glad and not so glad to be the first reviewer of Slater Well Drilling. I know…read moremyself, as someone who always looks at reviews, that just 1 good review, might be assumed to be a friend or family. There is evidence out there that people are more likely to review in complaint than to give a review of good service. For the most part I'm sure we would agree that is true. I have to say that as a customer needing well work, it is a very uncertain business. Even if you are well educated or have had much experience in wells, there are no guarantees. So you can understand why I would be skeptical when Glenn Slater GUARANTEED his work. I kept saying, "if it is fixed", and he kept saying "it will be fixed". I told him "if" he did, I would hug him when it was over and fixed. I had a well with a bad recovery rate... it took 20 min to get 2 gallons at one point and the well only ever had about 60 gallons of water in it. My husband and I were able to make due but we could never have guests without running out and when we decided to rent it out, it became a source of great stress for our renters and us. We previously had tried different things prior to renting or house and thought it was fixed. It was not and got worse actually. Our renters ran out of water almost everyday. The Slater family gave great service and without drilling, we're able to rehabilitate my well so that it now gives up 3.5 gpm and the well is full of water up to 200+ gallons! It's like a miracle! Due to very unfortunate circumstances I was unable to give the Hug to Glenn Slater Sr. but I did give to his son Shane. I'm sure it was awkward for him...haha but it was that much of a miracle to us. So before you go assuming your well is dried up, give them a call. You may just save yourself a ton of money and witness a miracle!

Chris came to the house and without doing anything, he diagnosed the problem to be our hot water heater. My wife had told Chris a plumber was just here the day before and said it was not the water heater. Chris then said okay, you need to replace a part on the water softebner and it may take up to two weeks to get the part and it would be approximately $1,200-$1,500. We said we don't own the softener we are only renting it. He said it does not matter, you will need to pay for the new part. We had the original rental agreement that was signed in 1994 and the parts and labor were covered under the rental agreement we said. Chris said no that's wrong. We told Chris do not order the part. We decided to replace/purchase a new water softener a few days later through our reliable and trustworthy plumber. The old water softener has remained in our basement since March. Roger or Chris have not hauled it away as called for in the rental agreement. I called Roger and Chris on August 10th.and Chris said he would pick up the softener the next day between 3:00 and 5:00. I took off work early so I could meet Chris at my home. Chris never showed up as promised and never called. Since that time, I called Roger twice and sent 3 text messages over the course of the next 9 days. Roger finally answered my last text & said they were very busy and would pick it up soon. Needless to say, I will never use Purely Water again and certainly would not recommend their services. Roger did not honor the rental agreement and has been very unresponsive. I certainly understand someone being busy but I also believe a simple pick up of equipment could have been completed sooner than 5 months and counting. Extremely unprofessional company! When the softener regenerated in the middle of the night and woke us up (our bedroom is right over the part of the basement the system is located in), Ardi was responsive to our texts and assured us that the noise was normal. He came within a few days and helped us reset the time of regeneration to a better time. He even came back a second time to secure a pipe so the sound wouldn't travel as much. They also matched a competitor's offer and warranty. Overall very happy with the system so far!

The guy who installed RO at my house was not a licensed plumber. He connected the waste water drain after the P-Trap of kitchen sink drain(pic attached), which is illegal, dangerous and against the code. It can cause sever gases to come in contact with RO filters which is very risky. Luckily I noticed and called them. They apologized, and told they will come over to fix, and they will send a licensed plumber who knows what he's doing. A guy showed up after 3 days, and this time again they sent a service guy (again, no licensed plumber) who left P-Trap under my kitchen sink leaking, and I had to call them a third time. Horrible experience end to end. But, buyers, beware, this is not a trustworthy company. Save your money, call your licensed plumber to install RO.
